Chapter 198: Ambush

This chapter is updated by NovelFree.ml

Yun Jhin frowned as he used his finger to poke the air around him trying to break the space with his God-like powers but he couldn't!

This meant two things, either someone stronger than him had sealed the surrounding space or they used a treasure of some sort to do it.

If the first happened there would be major problems but if it was the second it would be easier for him to resolve this business.

Yun Jhin wondered who was so bold to attack him after he broke through the God realm.

He put his guard up as he looked around, besides the blue planet below him there was nothing else in the vast universe surrounding him.

undefined"We meet again."

Out of nowhere the Ukog the man with the monkey tail and Duritz the blonde long-haired man appeared!

Ukog had his fingers on his forehead and Duritz had his hand on his shoulder.

Ukog took a few steps backward as he left Duritz alone to face Yun Jhin, it seemed they might have used a treasure as Yun Jhin didn't feel any threatening auras from them, but he could feel that Ukog was rather interesting considering he teleported in without the use of any formations, and it was also exactly to his coordinates to boot!

Yun Jhin eyes turned towards Ukog but the man sheepishly scratched the back of his head before he said:

"You don't want to take your eyes of Duritz or he might get angry, also you won't fight me I'm not good at fights, I'm only a support role."

"Hmm?

Yun Jhin didn't find Duritz too interesting as he didn't feel literally anything from him, last time he saw him he was at the peak of the sage realm, how far could he have gone in his cultivation when Yun Jhin barely reached the God Realm?

Duritz cracked his neck and knuckles as he gave a glance to Yun Jhin's armored body and he snickered:

"It seems you really took a big liking to this 'Grand Emperor of Evil' thing you got on huh?"

Yun Jhin didn't find his taunting amusing as he glanced at him releasing waves of sharp air from his eyes that were meant to slice through him, however, it didn't go as planned as the waves of air were stopped near him only slashing some of his long blonde hair.

Duritz chuckled as he looked at the floating hair around him as it returned to his head and the tufts which were cut turned a light shade of green.

"I guess it's time to start right?"

Yun Jhin knew that even if he asked them how they got here all he would get was some more sarcastic remarks, while Ukog didn't look smart he didn't seem to be dumb to the degree he would chat with the enemy about his special technique.

Yun Jhin really wanted that technique as while his teleportation speed was fast he couldn't teleport to people if someone was in the vicinity while he teleported it didn't mean anything, he was sure they somehow located him and used this monkey-tailed person talent to get to him.

Duritz didn't say anything as his whole blonde hair started to turn to light green, his pupils disappeared as his aura became visible, it was of a light lime color and its size and potency increased every second!

Yun Jhin frowned as he felt something was wrong with this person, how could his power be so immense?

At this point Ukog couldn't help but point out Duritz's power:

"It seems you have grown way stronger after the master had lifted your seals..."

Duritz snorted and didn't bother to look at Ukog.

"Seals? How did Yuan Fang surround himself with such overpowered freaks? Goddamned fortuned one constitution..."

Yun Jhin could feel Duritz's aura turn solid as it increased to a point that he felt extremely threatened by it, he only came here to enslave a planet and not fight to the death with Yuan Fang's cronies, why the hell did he even send them here?

***********************************

Yuan Fang's eyes were closed as he meditated under a dark waterfall, suddenly his eyelids lifted as he looked up letting the dark water hit him in the face, his azure eyes turned into a deep shade of green as he laughed and said:

"This is what you get for mind washing my spies, even though I cannot send me that doesn't mean I cannot annoy you! Let's see how much you like your plans being fucked with!"

************************

Yun Jhin could never know what was going through that fool head, he was a wanted man of even higher degree than him at the moment and he let his subordinates out? These two were also wanted and high rated rogue criminals and if Yun Jhin could catch them he would be able to get a fat bounty for them, of course, he wasn't anything better than them but considering his sect status he had some type of 'political protection' which rogue cultivators didn't have. For example, rogue cultivators would be punished heavier compared to sect cultivators for the same crime.

This was mostly because rogue cultivators didn't have anyone to complain to nor did they have any power in the world, at best they would follow the crowd and join a sect to have any semblance of protection but mostly they were the bottom feeders of the world.

There was a saying that living as a rogue cultivator was worse than being a pig or dog in a sect.

This wasn't that true as quite a lot of rogue cultivators liked being free, however, they were also playing with their lives and the lives of those who were close to them in that way, who knew when an arrogant young master thought you were looking at the woman he fancied and decided to assassinate you? In this society, things like this were pretty common.

Yun Jhin moved his head to the side as he felt something graze his helmet, he could see a small fine slash hole in the helmet as he looked a little to the right, there was something so sharp that it could damage his new armor?

Yun Jhin knew that whatever item or ability this guy had, he was threatening! Not to the point that he could kill Yun Jhin but to the point that he might be able to capture him.

God Realm experts could be hardly killed unless every part of them was destroyed down to their very cells but they could be captured, at the God level deaths were scarce but being taken prisoner was what happened often to the loser in the conflicts at this level.

Yun Jhin started to get serious. His muscles swelled and his armor spikes started to lengthen trying to pierce through Duritz's body.

The spikes were easily dodged by Duritz as he waved his body through them like a light ballerina, his current form and his agile moves made a strange contrast.

Yun Jhin's aura became visible as well as it swelled to immense amounts lighting up the starry sky of the universe with a purple-green light.

His helmet dropped from his head as his half azure half red hair started to spike up however there were no more bodily changes happening to him after that, the stronger he became the less would his body change after he powered up.

He wasn't really up to par as his hair still spiked up and his muscles swelled in size.

Duritz suddenly appeared behind him as he thrust his arm through his back, Yun Jhin looked down at the arm sticking out of his chest and chuckled as drops of blood flow down from his mouth into the abyss of the starry river.

"Are you familiar with this attack Yun Jhin?"

Duritz snickered from behind him as he twisted his arm in Yun Jhin's chest trying to inflict some pain on him.

Yun Jhin snickered as he dashed forward while keeping a tight grip onto Duritz's hand which remained stuck in his chest:

"You think that I don't have a counter for a technique that I have used so many times?"

Duritz screamed as he felt dizzy, his soul was attacked by the ki enhanced dashes that Yun Jhin was doing along with the fact that his arm was somehow getting dissolved in Yun Jhin's body!

"You...!"

Even though Duritz was quite strong to the point that Yun Jhin had some trouble reacting to his attacks now that he had trapped him it was easy to inflict damage on him. After all, Yun Jhin could see that while this person was talented his experience was minimal! He wasn't a reincarnated one nor a fortuned one but he was strong! Which meant he was a talent of this generation!

Generational talents were rather rare as most of the higher-ups in the big organizations were reincarnated ones, it seemed Yuan Fang's luck was through the roof as he got his hands on such a person!

Yun Jhin was truly envious.
