Chapter 5161 Butchering Heavenly Geniuses

Lightning and flames fused, exploding in a terrifying tsunami that washed over the land. Its power was so immense that even heaven and earth seemed to tremble in its wake.

Lu Fan, Netherdragon Wushang, and the others were about to clash with the white dragon race’s experts when they were struck by this unstoppable force. As they struggled to regain their footing, the wave of lightning and flames continued to spread, sweeping across the battlefield. Countless devil creatures were caught in its path, reduced to dust in an instant. The overwhelming force caught many other experts off guard, and the torrent devoured them as well.

Those trapped within the flood of lightning and flames fought desperately to survive, but in just moments, their bodies were crushed and their souls extinguished. Over two million Heavenly Chosens who had survived the dangerous heavenly tribulation were unable to survive Lei Linger and Huo Linger’s combination attack.

However, there was one exception. The lightning and flames swirled around a group, bypassing them. Within this land of death, the only ones left unaffected were the Zither Sect’s disciples. They were standing very far from the others to express their neutrality, as they did not want to be drawn into this battle.

When the lightning and flames erupted, Liao Yuhuang felt a wave of despair. Against such a terrifying attack, she could only keep herself alive, but she wouldn’t be able to protect the other disciples. Luckily, Lei Linger and Huo Linger had shown them mercy. As they looked around, they were met with a landscape of utter devastation.

At the heart of the sea of lightning and flames, the ten Earth Devils were bitterly enduring the onslaught, while Lu Fan and the others were in a miserable state as well. In the outer region, other than the Zither Sect’s disciples, everyone had been obliterated.

Liao Yuhuang felt a shiver run through her, and all the Zither Sect’s disciples were pale with fright. They had never seen anything so terrifying before. As their initial shock wore off, their reverence for Liao Yuhuang grew deeper. Their group leader, Qin Keqing, had led them into a land of death. Luckily, Liao Yuhuang had dragged them back from the brink of annihilation.

Had they stood on Qin Keqing’s side, they would have faced the same grim fate as the others. Realizing this fact, they could only thank their goddess of luck.

Suddenly, a divine diagram appeared in the sky, and Lu Fan rapidly formed a series of hand seals toward the Brahma Divine Diagram.

After saying that, Long Chen appeared in front of the peak heavenly genius whose entire body was covered in dragon marks—Netherdragon Wushang.

“What happened to those grand claims you made earlier?” Long Chen’s voice was cold as he slammed his palm down on Netherdragon Wushang.

Netherdragon Wushang was just about to flee when Long Chen intercepted him.

“Then I’ll drag you down with me!” Netherdragon Wushang roared, his spear blazing with light as he thrust it toward Long Chen.

Long Chen grabbed the speartip and forcefully shoved it back, sending an overwhelming force directly into Netherdragon Wushang’s chest.

“Die!” Long Chen shouted, swinging his hand with fierce determination. Astral energy erupted around him as he unleashed his signature move—the invincible divine face-slap art!

BOOM!

With a look of terror, Netherdragon Wushang exploded, his Yuan Spirit disintegrating. Alongside Qin Keqing and Li Tianfan, another peak heavenly genius had fallen.

A terrified and furious roar rang out as countless giant flame dragons surrounded Yang Hong. He had transformed into an enormous beast with Yan Xu Flames burning around him. Despite his efforts, he couldn’t find a way to escape.

On the other battlefield, countless dragon chains were binding an enormous divine phoenix, tightening fiercely. Huang Wudao roared in fury, his lightning runes flickering weakly against the overwhelming power of the chains.

As everyone was giving up and starting to run, Huo Linger and Lei Linger rushed to their targets, afraid that they would get away.

Amidst the chaos, Mo Nian put away the Dragon Bone Seven String Bow. With a sword in hand, he hunted down the Earth Devils. There were already three corpses on the ground, and the remaining seven were fleeing for their lives. Luckily, the sea of lightning and flames had a great suppressive effect on the Earth Devils but not on Mo Nian. As a result, he instantly became arrogant.

Since these Earth Devils had ruined his spotlight, Mo Nian cast his fury on them.

There were barely twenty experts left on the battlefield. Those who had survived Lei Linger and Huo Linger’s devastating attack were primarily the strongest peak experts. Even though they might not all match Lu Fan’s level of strength, they were formidable in their own right.

Long Chen suddenly made his move, showing up in front of the Earth Devils like a bolt of lightning.

Mo Nian shouted, “Don’t fight over them with me! I can deal with them.”

Long Chen’s sudden attack blew apart one of those Earth Devils. After that, he said, “Leave these old fellows to me. You can do roll call.”

“Roll call?” Mo Nian was baffled for a moment but then understood Long Chen’s meaning. With an excited expression, he directly abandoned the old Earth Devils and flew into the air, summoning the Dragon Bone Seven String Bow again.

An arrow sliced through the air, causing an explosion to ripple within the sea of flames and lightning. A peak expert was caught off guard, roaring in frustration as Mo Nian’s arrow ended his life.

In this chaotic arena, the remaining experts were essentially Mo Nian’s live targets. Suppressed by the lightning and flames, they couldn’t bring out their full power, causing them to be picked off one by one by Mo Nian’s arrows.

Just as Mo Nian relished his victories, two more explosive sounds erupted.

“My Yan Xu line is undying! Just you wait…”

Yan Hong was slain once more, transforming into a mass of runes that were quickly devoured by Huo Linger. Huang Wudao, similarly, was crushed to death by Lei Linger, his core runes swallowed by her.

When Lei Linger and Huo Linger were done, they recalled their lightning and flame sea. The battlefield then returned to its previous state. Now, the only one left was Lu Fan.

“Lu Fan, come. Call me daddy and I’ll consider sparing your life,” taunted Mo Nian. He stared at Lu Fan with his bow in hand, looking insufferably arrogant.

“You fools, you will still die today!” roared Lu Fan.

BOOM!

Suddenly, the Brahma Divine Diagram exploded, twisting the entire space. Long Chen and the others’ vision shifted as they were forced out of the Heavenly Flame Devil Domain. Then, they saw two towering divine statues.

“This is… the Glacial Heaven Plaza…” Bai Yingxue and the others were stunned to see the statues again, as well as the familiar buildings.

An ear-piercing alarm blared, and countless terrifying auras rose throughout every corner of Glacial Heaven City.
