Sam put the matter of Watcher and his troops aside.While it is one of the key factors in this war, its results could only be shown at a much later time. For now, he doesn’t have to focus on much.
So, he put his complete attention on the south side troops.
It is the bamboo forest area. They are not ordinary bamboo. From what Sam learned and analyzed, these things could be used as weapons for Divine Plane Transcendent cultivators at least. And if processed properly, and paired with suitable materials, even a divine plane consummate cultivator in initial stages could actually use it.
It is one of the primary exports of the Hastin village to the rest of the factions.

With another click, he disappeared from the crystal table and appeared on the southern front.
Everyone got vigilant and the pretranscedent stage initial stage cultivators got ready to fight. But Sam wasn’t there to throw hands.
His gaze wandered and finally landed on one particular person. A woman, who appeared as soon as Sam arrived with a bunch of other people surrounding her.
She is the troop commander on this front. A Consummate stage cultivator at initial stage.
Sam even knew her name. Parna.
Most valiant general of her generation. In all the mock wars these people had on this planet whenever they locked horns, none of her peers ever beat her in a strategic battle.
That’s why she has the utmost authority over the southern front. From the information Sam gathered, she might have to shoulder a lot more than that, when things go south... far more south than they already stood.
Parna gauged Sam while he was sizing her up.
"You better have come here as an envoy. Or you might not go back."
"Well... its my lucky day."
Sam replied and showed off his envoy token.
"It really is." She sneered and then continued.
"What do you want?"
"To issue a challenge.
An Idiot on the northern front, issued a challenge against me and lost... really badly. Now he can’t fight there for a while.
From what I heard, when one side issues a challenge, whether they win or lose, the opposite side can also issue a challenge in return.
So, I am here to make good on that rule."
"That means you are not a complete idiot." She said coldly.
Sam is really amused by this.
"If you don’t mind me asking. How did the prevailing opinion of me being an idiot even form among you guys?"
"You are fighting for the losing side. What other reason do I even need?"
"The war barely started and you already decided who is winning? Don’t you think that’s more idiotic than whatever I am doing right now?"
Paran looked at him and took a sharp breath.
"Just issue your challenge."
"Only on the south side. Only for your troop. For anyone below Transcendent stage... I am going to leave the defenses of the bone dome open. You can come in and fight the village forces directly.
The bone snake will not move, Only the defences of the bamboo forest would be used, along with my friends.
On the other end of the bamboo forest, there would be twelve of Hastin village warriors. All at the peak of the transcendent stage of Divine plane.
As long as you defeat them, you can storm the bone dome from this side. It would be a straight up blood war inside the Hastin village. Of course, the usual war rules will still apply."
Paran was shocked, but she didn’t show it on her face.
She looked at Sam, as her instincts screamed at her... And this wasn’t a scream of warning or delight. It was pure and utter confusion.
She doesn’t know if she should backdown or go against him directly. She cannot comprehend. Normally, she should have been delighted by such a challenge.
There is no breach point for the bone dome. They cannot make heads and tails of it. And the bone snakes just destroyed their morale. They are lucky that Sam is not on the offensive right now. If not for the strict rules they would have blasted those damned things off.
In fact, they were hoping one of them strays and just attacks the consummate stage cultivators so that they can retaliate.
But they aren’t so lucky in that aspect.

She took a deep breath and a million thoughts ran through her mind. She thought about the bamboo forest. They had occupied and did a lot of recon on it, nothing alarming was found.
They couldn’t even detect any energy anomalies much less sign of complete preparation. It seemed pretty safe.
So, she figured it won’t cause much harm to take a chance.
"Alright, what would you get if you win?" And she took the bait.
