Chapter 932 The Trap

Lets rewind time a few seconds to when Nagatos Limbo Clone punched Kakashi, sending him flying without warning.

After getting up, Kakashi coughed up blood and assessed his injuries. It seems a few ribs are broken.

Just as he regained his footing, Kakashi heard a voice inside his head, [Hatake Kakashi, are you alright?]

Kakashis eyes widened in surprise, !!! He scanned his surroundings, trying to find the source of the voice, which was both familiar and unfamiliar, making it difficult to place. He attempted to identify the speaker but couldnt spot anyone nearby who could be speaking to him.

[Dont be so surprised I am communicating with you telepathically in other words, I am directly speaking inside your mind. To respond, just think about what you want to say, and I will hear it,] the voice explained.

[I I see,] Kakashi nodded mentally and responded to the voices previous question, [A few of my ribs seem to be broken]

[Hmm, the injury is not too serious,] the voice remarked thoughtfully, [Very well continue to do what I told you earlier try to retrieve the Jinchuriki of Eight-Tails. I am keeping Nagato occupied. Use this opportunity to save Killer Bee.]

[Alright!] Kakashi affirmed mentally, suppressing his pain, and vanished with a silver flash.

With a silver flash, Kakashi appeared in a clearing. While evading Nagato after sending Naruto away, Kakashi had managed to scatter a few Flying Raijin Kunai, enabling him to utilize the Flying Raijin Jutsu.

Killer Bee where are you? Kakashi muttered as he attempted to locate the Jinchuriki of the Eight-Tails. The thick cloud of dust and smoke obscured his vision, and for some reason, he couldnt sense Killer Bees presence or the chakra of the Eight-Tails. Normally, tracking a Jinchurikis location was relatively straightforward, but at this moment, Kakashi found himself unable to sense it. Hes suppressing his chakra

This could only mean one thing: despite his attempts to escape, Killer Bee had been unable to resist Madara and was captured once again.

[Sigh Is that so? Then forget about it,] Kurotos telepathic voice sounded in Kakashis mind, filled with disappointment.

Kakashi understood the gravity of the situation. Akatsuki obtaining another tailed beast posed a significant threat to the entire shinobi world. However, they were currently powerless to retrieve Bee from the Kamui dimension, leaving them with few options.

Understanding that a valuable opportunity had been missed, Kakashi sighed and asked, [What should I do now? Should I join your side and assist against Nagato?] Kakashi believed that if they could eliminate Nagato, it wouldnt matter how many tailed beasts Akatsuki had captured. The threat to the shinobi world would be greatly diminished. Thus, he suggested that they work together to take down Nagato, hoping to catch him by surprise.

[Hmm let me think theres something you can do] Kuroto began explaining a plan to Kakashi.

As Kuroto finished outlining the plan, Kakashi was surprised by the willingness to cooperate, but he didnt dwell on it for now. Instead, he nodded and said, [I understand. Ill do my best to time it right.]

Returning to the Present

Unexpectedly, Nagato has already reached such a level Black Zetsu was taken aback by Nagatos display of power. After their previous encounter with Yama on the outskirts of Konoha, Nagato had never unleashed his full strength. He had kept it hidden, as there was no need to reveal it. Black Zetsus assessment of Nagatos strength was based on that previous battle with Yama.

However, now, as Black Zetsu sensed the overwhelming chakra emanating from Nagato, he had to reassess his understanding of Nagatos abilities. It appeared that Nagato was approaching the levels of power exhibited by Hagoromo and Hamura before Hagoromo sealed the Ten-Tails within himself. This realization sparked a different perspective in Black Zetsus mind, Maybe this is not such a bad situation

Intrigued by Nagatos newfound strength, Black Zetsu couldnt help but wonder if this development had any significance on the mysterious Otsutsuki.

Unaware of Black Zetsus thoughts, Kuroto chuckled in response to Nagatos display of power, Yes thats good although you are still severely lacking, and this is nowhere near enough to make me serious, this is still far better than before indicating that while it was an improvement, it was still not enough to truly engage his interest.

Enough with this crap lets just get started already! Nagato had grown impatient with the ongoing banter and decided to take action. He raised his hand and unleashed Bansho Tenin, intending to deal with Kuroto decisively.

Kuroto who had been waiting for this moment for a while smiled, Good luck dealing with the gift I prepared for you! and stretched out his hand, and a fierce blaze erupted uncontrollably from it, hurtling towards Nagato.

Whaaa!

The fire obscured Nagatos vision momentarily, but he remained determined. He absorbed the flames with his other hand while continuing to employ Shinra Tensei.

Nagatos powerful Shinra Tensei forced the puppet body, which had been hovering in the sky, to plummet. As he held the puppets body by the neck, Nagato noticed something unusual. He couldnt sense Yama within the puppet, and the pair of Byakugan in the puppets eyes had also dimmed, Did he leave?

In the midst of absorbing chakra from the puppet and trying to avert disaster, Nagato was caught completely off guard. A sudden silver flash behind him alerted him to a presence, but before he could react, a searing pain shot through his chest. Coughing up blood, he realized he had been impaled.

With his fading vision, Nagato heard the voice of his assailant, I hope this works, and then witnessed another silver flash as his assailant disappeared.

Hatake Kakashi! Nagatos thoughts raced as he recognized Kakashis involvement. The puppet before him bore a sinister grin, and in that moment, the cryptic words of Kuroto echoed in his mind once more: Good luck dealing with the gift I prepared for you.

Before Nagato could grasp the full extent of the trap he had fallen into, the puppet detonated in a powerful explosion, consuming everything in its destructive path.
