Hua Wuzui did not rush to fight. He had not lived this long because he was a fool. His eyes narrowed as he asked, Why are you attacking me, Mr. Lu? Even if I must die, I at least deserve to know why.

Lu Yin replied, So, you want to keep trying to hide things until the very end. Before me, you have no secrets. Allowing you to make a move is simply another way for me to verify my theory about fusing with multiple spirit seeds.

Hua Wuzui immediately turned and fled, red energy violently surging out from his body as he instantly used his two spirit seeds.

He then stepped forward, moving at the speed of time. A gray haze spread across the ground while filling the sky, instantly sweeping over Hua Wuzui.

The man was horrified to see the power of time being used against him.

It was known that Lu Yin had killed one of the Nest civilizations Insect Lords who had controlled the power of time with unmatched mastery.

Boom.

Spinning around, Hua Wuzui slammed his right palm into his left hand to unleash a fierce strike. Red energy swept across the sky, shooting into the distance.

Lu Yin pointed a finger, piercing through the red energy and landing an attack an inch beneath Hua Wuzuis armpit.

Upon being struck, Hua Wuzui nearly collapsed. He barely managed to twist his body around and flee in another direction.

Lu Yins eyes lit up. As expected, it had worked. He had managed to restrain Hua Wuzui for an instant, despite not striking the precise point. Again.

He chased after Hua Wuzui, attacking different locations on his body in repeated attacks, all to test his theory about fusing with multiple spirit seeds.

No one was better suited to studying multiple spirit seed fusion than Lu Yin.

He was able to deduce information with karma, had also personally experienced what it felt like to fuse with multiple spirit seeds through his dies Possession ability, and had also accessed multiple Netherfiends memories about the process. Not even Greater Sancte Green Lotus could compare to Lu Yins qualifications in this regard.

The only one who could surpass him was the Netherfiend who had developed the method of fusing with multiple spirit seeds.

That should have been Qi Xu.

So long as humans possessed any sort of self-awareness at all, they should understand that they should not even dream of exploiting other civilizations. To do so was courting death.

In order to survive, it was necessary for an individual to constantly increase their own value. Being of use, even if only as a target to be killed, was still better than not having any value at all.

Lu Yin looked at Hua Wuzui with interest. You are the most talkative Netherfiend Ive ever met.

Hua Wuzui gasped for breath. No matter what he tried, he could not escape. Facing Lu Yin was like facing a towering mountain, and the man felt crushed to the point where he could barely breathe. He had never imagined that he would be suppressed like this one day.

Hua Wuzui was shocked. He had been restrained. Just what is happening? Can this man actually see through my power?

While an Immortal could easily overwhelm Hua Wuzui, that did not mean that they would be able to see through him. That should be impossible for anyone to do.

This meant that the Netherfiends were currently broken and divided. While this prevented them from accomplishing anything of note, it also kept them very well hidden.

However, no one had ever dreamed that they would encounter someone like Lu Yin, who was capable of dragging every last Netherfiend into the light.

The Netherfiends should thank Yong Heng. If not for that mans betrayal, which had forced them to regularly change locations and stop interacting with each another, Lu Yin would have wiped them all out long ago.

Hua Wuzui was struck once more and forced to retreat again. He could only move about within a pitifully small range, and no matter what he tried, he could not escape. You underestimate the Nine Odysseys Megaverse too much! Let me tell you, we Netherfiends are backed by Greater Sancte Green Lotus!

Lu Yin froze, dumbfounded.

Hua Wuzui tore the void open and fled through the tear while letting out a sigh of relief. He had finally escaped.

But just a moment after that, Lightstream flickered out and reversed time by one second. Hua Wuzui watched as the tear in the void closed right in front of him. A chill ran down his spine, nearly causing him to stumble.

As soon as he was within five meters of his target, Lu Yin Possessed Hua Wuzui again and examined his memories.

The Possession ended quickly, and he slapped Hua Wuzui, sending the man flying.

Hua Wuzui slammed into the ground. The surging red energy that boiled around his body was vast enough to pierce the sky, and yet it had almost entirely dissipated. That was Lu Yins doing.

Lu Yin was feeling quite irritated, as his target had almost managed to scare him to death.

When Hua Wuzui had claimed that the Netherfiends were backed by Greater Sancte Green Lotus, even Lu Yin had hesitated and had to Possess the man to confirm the truth by examining his memories. The truth was that the comment was pure nonsense spouted in a desperate bid for survival.

Truthfully, the comment had sounded like nonsense the moment Lu Yin heard it, but because it involved Greater Sancte Green Lotus, he had not dared to take any risk and had immediately verified the truth.

If Hua Wuzui had not been speaking nonsense but instead carried even a vague suspicion, Lu Yin would have had to prepare for the worst.

Fortunately, the man had just blurted a random accusation without any evidence or logic behind it. He had simply chosen to shout the name of the most powerful individual in the Nine Odysseys Megaverse.

Hua Wuzui shook his head and stared at Lu Yin with fear in his eyes. He had lived for a very long time, but he wanted to live for much longer. He had managed to keep his original personality, and he had not been completely corrupted by the Netherfiends power.

He did not want to die.

Lu Yin stared at Hua Wuzui, pointed a finger, and continued.

Hua Wuzui was so frustrated that he nearly coughed up blood. He had already resorted to making things up. Shouldnt a powerhouse like Lu Yin be a bit cautious when something involves an Immortal? Lu Yin stayed silent while just staring at Hua Wuzuis body. Multiple strikes had landed and were suppressing the red energy. Lu Yin was trying to forcefully separate the spirit seeds through external means.

The only way out for the Netherfiends was to believe that they had joined a civilization that was far stronger than humanity.

He suddenly coughed up blood while staring fixedly at Lu Yin. Why must you kill me?

Answer me! Tell me, do you really not care about anything Ive said?

Thats impossible. You cant not care.
