Chapter 4213: None Can Break It

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

The current Blacklight Civilization was far from their former peak. At their civilizations zenith, the number of Aberrants that appeared due to Life Overreach had to have been astounding. The Seven-Treasure Anuras would have stood no chance. But the one who had managed to achieve victory was Ancestor Shan. The ancient monster had single-handedly annihilated the Blacklight Civilization.

That was why the Blacklight Civilization was so hellbent on getting revenge.

The surging wave of power caused Le to become even more ferocious. Streaks of black hexagonal plates shot off of its body, scattering as they flew into the sky. Up, down, left, and rightthe black plates went everywhere, surrounding Lu Yin.

Lu Yin had heard Little Eighteen describe this technique before; it was the Darksky Seal. The stronger the technique, the greater the area that was sealed.

The One-Hundredth Seal possessed a range so vast that not even Ancestor Shan had been able to escape.

Compared to that, the seal surrounding Lu Yin was clearly weaker by an absurd degree.

Thirty-six. There were thirty-six black plates surrounding him. Le was using the Darksky Thirty-Six Seals.

The Seven-Treasure Anuras were quite knowledgeable on the Blacklight Civilization. The Blacksky Seal was divided into Eighteen, Thirty-Six, Seventy-Two, Ninety-Seven, Ninety-Eight, Ninety-Nine, and the legendary One Hundredth Seal.

The Eighteen Seals technique was capable of imprisoning a peak Dukkhan. If Lu Yin had known this technique before he went to the Spirit Nidus, when the High Seraph had attacked the Heavens Sect, Eighteen Seals would have been enough to trap the man, regardless of his raw power. That was the terror of the Darksky Seal.

Eighteen Seals was considered the entry-level mastery of the technique.

Thirty-Six Seals could imprison ordinary Immortals.

Seventy-Two Seals could imprison powerful Immortals. For example, Old Fifth had nearly been sealed by Seventy-Two Seals.

Once the technique reached Ninety-Seven Seals, it was capable of imprisoning even stronger Immortals. Lu Yin suspected that Ninety-Seven Seals might be able to trap Greater Sancte Awe Gate, or even someone like Mister Mu who had broken into the Immortal realm on their own.

As for Ninety-Eight Seals, that was powerful enough to seal an Immortal who resonated with two cosmic laws. That might be powerful enough to trap even Greater Sancte Green Lotus.

Of the Blacklight creatures attacking the Seven-Treasure Anuras, the strongest, Huo, was able to use Ninety-Eight Seals. They were the Blacklight Civilizations greatest powerhouse.

As for Ninety-Nine Seals, there had once been a creature capable of using that technique during the Blacklight Civilizations zenith. That creature had been an absolute monster capable of fighting head-on against Ancestor Shan. Lu Yins guess was that it might have been an Immortal who had resonated with three cosmic laws. The Blacklight Civilization no longer had such an expert.

Most likely, Huo had not reached that level themself. If they had, they would not have chosen to strike the Seven-Treasure Anuras so soon.

Finally, there was the One-Hundredth Seal, which was also what had imprisoned Ancestor Shan.

Lu Yin observed the thirty-six plates as they descended around him. They formed a circle while bringing darkness to the area. One plate was one layer of darkness. The resulting thirty-six layers of darkness sought to completely trap him.

Le was only capable of unleashing this after using Life Overreach, and it was enough to trap an ordinary Immortal.

Sealing Lu Yin was not part of a duel, but rather a genuine attempt to imprison an opponent.

This meant that, if Lu Yin were only a typical Aberrant like Little Eighteen and was barely able to fight against even the most common of Immortals, Lu Yin would already be trapped.

However, Lu Yin was not such an Aberrant.

The thirty-six plates descended, trapping Lu Yin within darkness. He had been sealed.

Old Fourth and the other Seven-Treasure Anuras stared. This much was still within their expectations. In order for them to save Ancestor Shan and Old First, they needed to first better understand the Darksky Seal. Lu Yin had decided to experience the technique personally. Of course, if he had been sealed with Seventy-Two Seals, he might not have taken the risk, as that would very possibly genuinely trap him.

However, a mere Thirty-Six Seals was meaningless.

Le was not surprised to see Lu Yin be trapped. So what if the unknown creature was an Aberrant? At best, Aberrants could reach the same level of strength as average Immortals, which was precisely the target of Thirty-Six Seals.

A small black sphere appeared on the seven-colored land. Compared to the seals that imprisoned Ancestor Shan and Old First, the new sphere was pitifully tiny.

The Blacklight creatures grew puzzled. Was he sealed away so easily? He should be part of a fishing civilization, right?

We wanted to see what he was capable of, but hes only an Aberrant, not an Immortal. Its only to be expected that he was sealed.

Le went too far. We should have tried to see what creatures from this fishing civilization are capable of.

Do not underestimate it. It is possible that he deliberately allowed himself to be sealed. The largest Blacklight creature stared at where Lu Yin had been trapped, its eyes flashing. This was Huo.

This creature had led the Blacklight Civilization into hiding and was why they had survived for eons; in the end, it had managed to resonate with two cosmic laws. Clearly, Huo was no fool, and neither were the other Blacklight creatures. They were simply too confident in their civilizations legacies, believing that, as long as they were only dealing with an Aberrant, the creature had no way to avoid being sealed.

Only Huo understood that every fishing civilization had their own absolute means. It would never underestimate any fishing civilization. To do so would be to face annihilation.

Did that creature allow himself to be sealed on purpose? To learn about our Darksky Seal? But if he cant get back out, then anything he learns will be useless.

I dont believe that he can get out.

He definitely cant. Our civilization has many Aberrants, and we have also fought many other civilizations before. Not even Immortals can break free.

Huo stared downward. Le, kill him.

Down on the ground, Le staggered towards the black sphere. No one knew what it did, but the black sphere started to shrink.

Old Fourth and the other Seven-Treasure Anuras exchanged looks. The Darksky Seal was not merely a means of imprisonment; it could also contract. The more that it shrank, the stronger the darkness inside became, and it would gradually devour whatever creature was trapped inside.

Initially, the seal trapping Ancestor Shan had been enormous, far larger than the one sealing Old First. But under Huos control, the seal was continuously contracting. If not for the toads interference, the seal would already be much smaller.

Would Lu Yin end up dying?

Outside the seven-colored land, Mister Mu remained calm. He knew that, with Lu Yins strength, let alone the Thirty-Six Seals, but even the Seventy-Two Seals was insufficient to kill him.

However, it was also highly unlikely for Lu Yin to see through the Darksky Seal on his own. After all, this was the legacy technique of a fishing civilization.

Even so, LuYin had no choice but to at least try.

Inside the black sphere, Lu Yin could not sense how vast the darkness that surrounded him was. It felt endless, despite the sphere clearly not being that large.

The darkness continuously gnawed inward from his surroundings. This darkness originated from the Blacklight creatures themselves. Is this why theyre called Blacklight?

The darkness was something that the creatures carried within their bodies. It could be thought of as a kind of black toxin or some sort of eroding power. Its strength varied according to the strength of the Blacklight creatures.

The Thirty-Six Seals was clearly unable to give Lu Yin any sort of pressure.

He was a bit disappointed. He had hoped to see if it would be possible for him to cultivate this sealing technique himself, but unfortunately, it originated from the Blacklight creatures themselves.

Breaking out from the inside of the trap was simple; the Thirty-Six Seals could not stop Lu Yin, but if he were to be sealed by Seventy-Two Seals, Ninety-Seven Seals, or something even stronger, it would be far more difficult.

Also, the more straightforward his means of breaking the technique, the less it would help him save Ancestor Shan. This was because it meant that the One-Hundredth Seal surpassed what Ancestor Shan could endure, and that meant that there was no doubt that it surpassed what anyone else could endure as well.

This made things very difficult.

The darkness kept eroding as it pressed in. The spheres range was continuously shrinking.

Lu Yin extended one finger, converging his power at the tip. He used that tip to break through, piercing the darkness.

The black sphere was instantly pierced. Le was horrified and instantly fled. How is this possible? How can this creature break my Thirty-Six Seals?

Suddenly, the black sphere completely shattered.

The shattered hexagonal plates scattered across the ground. Lu Yin stepped onto them as he stared forward.

Le was quite different from before. The black hexagonal plates were similar to scales for the Blacklight creatures, and since Lu Yin had shattered the plates, Les body was now an entire size smaller. It stared at Lu Yin with eyes wide with disbelief.

Lu Yin took a step forward, passing by Le.

Still in the same place, Les body fell apart, collapsing to the ground. It was already dead.

Lu Yin looked up past the sky. Would a stronger Blacklight creature appear next?

Beyond the seven-colored land, Huo was watching. So, he truly deliberately allowed himself to be trapped. This lifeform is strong. Despite being only an Aberrant, he was still able to break free of the Thirty-Six Seals. Worthy of a fishing civilization.

Huo, weve underestimated the creature. A mere Aberrant broke free from a Thirty-Six Seals. If he is truly from a fishing civilization, then that civilization must be very formidable.

Every fishing civilization is strong. It is simply difficult for two to collide.

Huo, I remember you saying that fishing civilizations will eventually collide.

Huo slowly replied, We are no longer a fishing civilization. We do not wish to clash with any civilization. We seek only revenge.

What about right now?

Huo looked down, watching as Lu Yin walked over the black sphere that sealed Ancestor Shan. The Immortals voice descended. What is the name of your civilization?

Lu Yin placed a hand on the black sphere, ignoring Huo. That was because he had already heard Ancestor Shans voice. A human?

Lu Yin answered in a soft voice, They cannot hear our conversation, can they?

As long as your voice remains quiet enough, they cannot. Dont think that other civilizations are too miraculous. They may possess methods that you are unable to understand, but that does not mean that every method at their disposal is beyond your comprehension, Ancestor Shan said.

Lu Yin exhaled in relief. Senior, I am Lu Yin.

I could tell. I didnt expect you to come. Will your human civilization help us?

Of course. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any real help. This One-Hundredth Seal that is imprisoning you no one can break it.

I know. There is no need to break it. Since you managed to get through the Blacklight Civilizations blockade and reach this place, you can naturally leave as well. Take my descendants with you. From this day forward, they will ally with your human civilization. That is the benefit that you will reap for taking action at this time.

We Seven-Treasure Anuras are uniquely blessed by the cosmos. While we are not a fishing civilization, we can always give rise to Immortals. That should prove quite useful to your civilization.

Lu Yin fell silent.

The moment he made contact with the One-Hundredth Seal, he had already understood that it could not be broken. Not by him, not by Mister Mu, nor even by Greater Sancte Green Lotus.

After all, this legacy was something considered legendary even for a fishing civilization.

Lu Yins success or failure on this trip did not really matter. No matter what happened, he would not implicate humanity. If he succeeded, it would certainly be for the best, but if he failed, then just as Ancestor Shan had said, the surviving Seven-Treasure Anuras could be taken away. No matter what happened, there were several Immortal toads among the survivors. While the toads were foul-tempered, even they would not stir up trouble for their saviors, the human civilization.

With the addition of the Seven-Treasure Anuras, the strength of their human civilization would surge explosively.

Ancestor Shan had already seen through everything. They were aware that the Seven-Treasure Anuras would be used by the humans, but there was no other choice. No civilization other than this human one was capable of saving the Seven-Treasure Anuras.

Survival was still better than extermination.

Huos voice descended to Lu Yin once more. What exactly are your intentions? The Seven-Treasure Anuras should not have any interactions with other civilizations. What is the name of your civilization? If you are not a fishing civilization, then you are bringing disaster upon your own kind.

Lu Yin continued to ignore the creature.
