Chapter 3035: Breaking the Sealing

Outside Paradise Land, Angel’s decoding was still in progress.

Meanwhile, at the side, Dox was quietly chatting with Kaier, creating a stark contrast to the busy Angel nearby.

In reality, initially, Dox and Kaier were not talking at all.

At that moment, when Angel said "he could give it a try" and started to decode the space seal enveloping Paradise Land, Dox and Kaier were so afraid of disturbing Angel that they didn’t even dare to breathe loudly, carefully refraining from speaking.

Yet the content of Angel’s inquiries involved very basic structural knowledge, completely different from his actions during decoding.

Hence, from Dox’s perspective, Angel wasn’t sincerely consulting Kaier. Instead, it seemed like he was using the pretext of "asking for advice" to guide Kaier.

Kaier thought the same because, when answering Angel’s questions, Angel would also provide him with some knowledge feedback.

And this spatial knowledge was very advanced, even secretive, aligning with the spatial structures he described.

However, Dox and Kaier weren’t just idly chatting; Dox was ambitious, and his topics were centered entirely around the spatial knowledge that Angel and Kaier were exchanging.

How precious spatial knowledge was, Dox knew very well. Normally, it was hard to acquire such detailed spatial knowledge, let alone secret space-related information.

Angel, without any reservations, discussing it openly likely didn’t mind if he learned from it.

But Dox’s learning progress was far behind Angel’s, so he could only focus on Kaier, asking him to help interpret and understand this spatial knowledge.

Angel doesn’t conceal anything from Dox: "Destroying the space seal easily attracts attention. We’re not facing them directly; our goal is to find Speedy’s Avatar without making a fuss."

The best method is finding Speedy’s Avatar inconspicuously and then retreating quickly.

Dox ponders and nods: "You’re right. Causing a commotion indeed doesn’t favor us. Sneaking away with Speedy’s Avatar is the best option. But your decryption method seems familiar—did you use this in the Underground Aqueduct when breaking the Magical Energy Array?"

Dox looks at the array disk on the ground, above which the door stands.

If Dox didn’t know Paradise Land was shrouded by a space seal, he would think Angel is merely decrypting a Magical Energy Array.

Angel: "This door indeed integrates Runeology. There are quite a few space-related Magic Tattoo Horns in the rune, which can easily be applied together with space knowledge."

Once the core point is found, using it as the energy source with the array disk as a medium—the doors can be opened using magic patterns if applied properly.

This is an application method Angel learned from the knowledge given by Dalmatian.

Coincidentally, Angel is also proficient in magic patterns, making it easy to break the space seal when combined.

Dox shows an expression of sudden realization: "So that’s it."

Dox can roughly grasp Angel’s methods but doesn’t realize how technically demanding it is.

At least, Kaier can’t merge two disciplines despite knowing some magic patterns. Combining ’space’ nature Magic Tattoo Horns with space knowledge seems like a pipe dream to him.

Even Kaier’s mentor Esos would struggle with such integration.

Bear in mind, aside from being a Space Series True Knowledge Wizard, Esos is also a Magic Rune Mage.

Thus, Kaier’s gaze at Angel undergoes a complete transformation.

The idea seems simple, but achieving it... only Angel can.

Kaier now firmly believes Angel’s space knowledge is not low. It might even be on par with a mentor’s level.

Illusion Technique, Space Theory, Alchemy—three entirely different disciplines reaching the peak of the Southern Domain.

This is beyond Kaier’s imagination...

While Kaier is lost in thought, Angel already summoned Speedy, asking about the Avatar.

The space seal’s door is open, a quick summon should swiftly bring the Avatar back.

However, Speedy lingers at the gate for a while, still unable to sense the Avatar coming back.

It’s certain the Avatar isn’t harmed, but it just hasn’t returned to the main body.

Speedy shares its findings.

"Avatar not responding to the summon?" Dox wonders: "Could it have defected?"

Angel shakes his head: "Elemental creatures’ Avatars rarely defect."

The Avatar of an elemental creature has a thin consciousness, with the main consciousness being strong enough to suppress the Avatar from developing independent thoughts.

Typically, defects occur with humans who have complicated minds, where diverse thoughts produce vastly different independent consciousness.

Speedy, being isolated in Tidal World for years, is far simpler-minded than humans; its Avatar defecting is out of the question.

"According to Speedy, it feels the Avatar is restricted by some energy, unable to respond to the summon," Angel explains.

"Restricted by some energy? This sounds oddly familiar," Dox mumbles: "Isn’t this just like the space seal? Could the wizard who laid the space seal inside Paradise Land have placed a smaller seal as well?"

Angel shakes his head, not knowing the exact situation.

However, Dox’s speculation could be possible, a nesting doll style space seal, often seen in many relics.

True knowledge of it still requires further exploration.
