Hi, everybody. I have recently started a new novel called Strict Wife of the ’70s Manages the Household. It already has 17 chapters. You can check it out HERE.
This watch was not considered a popular brand, so it wasn’t something that could be conspicuously recognised. Hence, the production team never realized it before.
Who would have ever thought that not noticing a small detail like this managed to result in a viral wave of attention.
Brother Zhang didn’t care about Xu Xinduo’s watch. She was introduced to him by Shao Qinghe, so Brother Zhang had long known that Xu Xinduo must be a child of a rich family. Hence, he wouldn’t be surprised even if she owned ten thousand types of branded watches.
What he cherished was the wave of viral attention she got as he wanted to use the timing to give Xu Xinduo’s status a push.
Their company attached average importance to the modeling department and generally, not a lot of funds were allocated for that team so they were slightly short on budget as well. This meant that the heat wave delivered to the door must be well taken advantage of.
When Xu Xinduo packed up her things and was about to go back, Brother Zhang sent a bunch of article alternatives and asked her to choose one.
She felt that they were all quite satisfactory and didn’t understand much of it, so she sent them to Yin Hua.
Yin Hua quickly replied: [It’s very deliberate, so it won’t appear attractive to passersby.]
Xu Xinduo: [So how do I post it?]
Yin Hua: Naturally—don’t create personas. In fact, the modeling industry likes to have individuality, so just be real.]
Xu Xinduo drove back to the house that Tong Yan had prepared. After going in, she removed her makeup, tucked her hair up to the top of her head, and then said to Tong Yan, “Help me take a picture.”
Tong Yan took out his phone and took a photo of Xu Xinduo before handing it back to her, “is that okay?”
Xu Xinduo looked at the photos and felt that Tong Yan’s photographic level was at the level of an ex-boyfriend.
Xu Xinduo immediately said with slight disgust, “As long as your level of photographic license was concerned, it would not be enough if your girlfriend broke up with you a hundred times.”
Tong Yan immediately came over to explain, “You don’t understand the mood in my photos! How do you want me to take it? I will enroll in a photography class when I start school.”
Xu Xinduo walked to her room but felt that this room was a tad too luxurious, so she opened the door of the guest room. Tong Yan has lived here for a day, hence the messy quilts and bags of snacks on the bed.
She immediately climbed onto the bed and sat on the quilt. Looking at her phone with her legs tucked under the covers, she said to Tong Yan, “Take it.”
Tong Yan took the phone and took extra care this time. Without pressing the shutter for a long time, Xu Xinduo was so anxious that she raised her head grimly and asked, “Is it done?”
Then, she heard the sound of the shutter.
Xu Xinduo was livid for a moment— the photographer was not suitable and posing became a problem.
Tong Yan was so nervous that his palms were sweating as he quickly said, “Sit down again, I will retake the shot now.”
He suddenly realized that taking pictures was an aspect that was too important, especially since his future girlfriend may be a model.
Xu Xinduo could only pose for another shot. After Tong Yan took a photo from all angles, he gave Xu Xinduo his phone and said, “Check if it’s okay. If not, I will retake it.”
After Xu Xinduo looked at it, she chose two pictures which were sent to her mobile phone before sending them to Brother Zhang for Photoshopping.
