Chapter 3657: Avenue of Training

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

Amare got up from the bed, gazing at her hands with an amazed expression before closing her eyes.

She felt she could instantly activate the Forge of Singularity technique at any moment and give birth to a singularity then and there. Of course, it would be quite minute and little, invisible to the eye, even.

"You didn’t just teach me the Worm Step technique and the Forge of Singularity, you taught me how to use negatron matter and even how to use Soul Retcon and Megamind," she murmured, turning to him with an expression of gratitude. "You didn’t have to do that. That’s very generous."

Rui smiled. "You’re extremely important and precious to me. Of course, I had to do that. Negatron matter will allow you to travel between continents instantly and effortlessly. At the same time, Soul Retcon and Megamind will allow you to perform this training technique on yourself whenever you want without me. So you won’t be dependent on me and won’t be deprived of this service when I’m gone."

"I’ll definitely make good use of these techniques!" Her amber eyes blaze with motivation and excitement. She couldn’t wait to make herself learn all manner of new techniques through this technique and diversify her mastery a bit more than she already had. She could even master other paths much faster in this manner!

Rui nodded. "Alright then, it’s time for me to get going. You have a lot of work to do, so this should keep you satisfied for quite some time."

She turned towards Rui with an enthusiastic expression. "Good luck with your training. Don’t take any risks and don’t push it. Make sure it is a success more than anything else."

Rui nodded. "Will do. Goodbye, Amare. We will meet again in a year or so."

He pulled her in for one last deep embrace, enjoying her warmth and presence, before departing from the Continent of Kiriket.

WHOOSH

He returned to the Kandrian Empire in the blink of an eye, near the Kandrian Manifold.

Outside was a special and hidden facility heavily armed with Masters and even Sages, one that served as the only means of communication from outside the manifold to the inside.

"Open the manifold," Rui commanded.

He didn’t need to provide an explanation or justification. His de facto authority within the Kandrian Empire was almost absolute, save for the Emperor of Harmony himself, who ranked even higher. The Kandrian Empire didn’t even have the ability to question his orders.

Within a minute, the manifold’s space-time barrier unfolded, unleashing a powerful gravitational wave as it did so. Simultaneously, powerful space-time anchors were activated, crushing the gravitational wave and quelling it so as not to give out any signal that could be used to identify the location of the manifold.

"Your Highness."

A man stood at the edge of the manifold space, bowing deeply before the man. "It is the highest honor to receive you as the director of this facility."

Rui didn’t recognize him at all. "I need you to do some things for me."

"Anything at all, Your Highness. Just say the word and we will do our absolute best to serve you."

"I need a few kilograms of pluripotent exotic matter. You can tell the Minister of Esoteric Resources that I have personally issued the request. He will probably agree to it. If there isn’t any available in our inventories, then tell the Minister of Foreign Affairs to tell the Namgung Dynasty that I want some. They will probably agree as well."

It was highly informal and devoid of due process as established in the code of protocols of governmental bureaucracy, but the director skillfully plotted a path to get the prince what he wanted.

"You will have it within the day, Your Highness."

"Thanks. Let me know when it arrives. Are there any training chambers within medically sterile environments available at the moment?"

The director paused for several moments as he received information remotely with his neural implant. It was a technology that the Esoterist and the Psycher had developed together, allowing man to interface with machines. A wave of technology that Rui had just completely missed for one reason or another due to his growing detachment from human civilization.

"There is one such chamber available in the Sage-16 chamber in the Sage-level ring at the core, Your Highness."

"Thanks."

WHOOSH

Rui quickly identified and teleported to the chamber in the blink of an eye, taking a good stock of his environment.

The chamber was built with powerful quasi-Transcendent esoteric resources from the core of the Beast Domain, engineered with cutting-edge structural engineering meant to allow the chamber to withstand the general power of even peak Martial Sages. He even sensed some more recent upgrades non-native to the Panama continent. A floral-root system underneath is derived from eleven technologies meant to completely siphon all seismic radiation. Some dwarven architectural techniques were reverse-engineered and obtained from other sources.

After all, it had been almost twenty years within the manifold since the Unfolding had happened. That was enough time to study, assimilate, and apply things learned from the true world to the training chamber.

Rui suspected that he could go all-out, without using his most extraordinary and transcendent techniques, without destroying the chamber, which was one hell of an accomplishment in and of itself.

He walked around the spacious chamber, inspecting its various multi-purpose facilities. There was a striking arena with special products designed to withstand attacks from Martial Sages for a limited period of time, as well as a long-range targeting facility where Rui could test his long-range attacks.

There were also chambers to test defense, speed, and many other fundamental aspects of Martial Art.

STEP

He arrived at the isolated medical facility within the vast Martial chamber. It was composed of rows of diagnostic terminals and computers, revolving around what was at the center of the facility: a large cocoon-like suspension chamber.

Enough to fit a single human being.

Rui whistled. "That looks like the perfect place to undergo a profoundly fundamental bodily change."
