"This is bad."Tokugawa Ieyasu’s cold voice contained an edge of grim severity as he studied Rui with his sensors and his cybernetic eyes. The latter had been created with the purpose of bypassing the anti-Ieyasu domain technique.
Which meant that he could be reading Rui’s mind each moment they fought.
He knew exactly what Rui was doing.
It was shocking that Rui had become so powerful that he could survive a fight with Sentinel Prime, the Suneater, and Tokugawa Ieyasu while distracted, but what was even more concerning to Ieyasu was that he understood what Rui was doing better than anybody else.
He had helped Rui create the Forge of Creation as a technique, so he recognized what Rui was doing to his inherited muscle memory from Anthea. He also understood just how powerful Rui would become if he were allowed to complete this miraculous assimilation of power.
"Rui is undergoing a fundamental and powerful upgrade," he traitorously informed NOVA. "We need to kill him right now, or else..."
His cybernetic eyes sharpened. "...he’ll become unstoppable."
Tokugawa Ieyasu felt conflicted.
His goal was to assimilate Rui’s power, which was why he had gone as far as to integrate cybernetic eyes to enhance his Mind’s Eye with technological solutions.
However, one look at Rui’s latest evolution in power, and he understood something deeply disturbing.
’I will never be able to assimilate this.’
It was a difficult realization, but it was one that rang true to his instincts.
Rui had somehow integrated the flesh of the most powerful evosapien into half of his body and had somehow inherited his muscle memory along with it.
Now, he was about to make all of his techniques contain a dimension of this evosapien power, which meant that Tokugawa Ieyasu would never ever be able to copy Rui’s techniques ever again.
’I cannot allow that to happen.’ His cybernetic eyes flared with bloodlust. ’If he is to become an existence beyond my reach, then I will kill him off while I can.’

He pushed his MECHA’s zero-point energy core to its very limit as the energy system sucked up the limitless quantum energy in the depths of vacuum itself, drawing on an infinite energy source. He activated his most powerful air-pressure system, amplifying his breathing techniques by orders of magnitude, blasting Rui with astronomically powerful attacks.
"Understood." Sentinel Prime nodded with serious expression. "I will go all out and destroy him as soon as possible."

Blow after blow, the three-man team of the Suneater, Sentinel Prime, and Tokugawa Ieyasu went on a rampage, unleashing countless blows and attacks of all kinds upon Rui.
Each blow inflicted tremendous damage, but damage that lasted less than a millisecond before it was completely healed as if it never existed in the first place. Broken bones were mended in the blink of an eye while torn flesh wove itself back together.
It was truly shocking that Rui could survive a battle with all three of them with his eyes closed.
No one aside from Tokugawa Ieyasu knew what he was thinking.
Ordinarily, becoming so absent-minded and daydreaming away merrily in a life-or-death battle against powerful foes was a good day to die. Yet, Rui survived nonetheless.
He withstood each and every attack, surviving some of them by just the narrowest of edges.
With each passing moment, the urgency in Tokugawa Ieyasu’s attacks continued.
"Kill him!" He urged with a ferocious bloodlust. "Kill him now!"
He pushed his MECHA to the very limit, activating overdrive mode to temporarily push it over the limits to maximize his chances of killing Rui.

Sentinel Prime blasted Rui away with a tremendously destructive attack, breaking several bones in his body with the sheer force of the attack.
It launched him straight towards the Abyssal Mirror.

Tokugawa Ieyasu prepared a death blow as he pushed his MECHA to the very limit.
And then, he froze.
He froze as his cybernetic eyes widened with shock, as if being unable to even fathom what he saw within the depths of Rui’s mind.

Shockwaves radiated across Rui’s mindscape as the Forge of Creation emerged anew with a brand-new dimension to it that it had not possessed when Rui had first created it after training with him.
All of Anthea’s memories had been reduced to elements and fundamental actions, pooled together with Rui’s own foundational mastery.
His Martial Art had been reborn.
Ieyasu gritted his teeth at the sight of it, charging through with his most lethal attack as he pushed himself to the very limit.
And yet, it was too late.
Rui opened his ethereal eyes as time slowed down.
Time slowed down to a crawl.
Even the powerful Abyssal Mirror, unleashing a tremendously powerful and fast attack, was rendered almost frozen in time. The darkness of the night seemed to come alive as fearsome winds and turbulence spread through the world.

Ieyasu’s cybernetic eyes widened as he coughed blood upon the impact, hemorrhaging internally as the impact bypassed the excellent dwarven-upgraded MECHA, and struck him directly.
"That was for betraying the Kandrian Empire."
Rui’s voice was chilling as his ethereal eyes blazed with a ferocious bloodlust.
"And your death will be the price for killing my grandmother."
