Chapter 4059 Space is Water

In the vacuum of space outside Gaia, three large fleets of warships emerged from the Panamic Space Station. Unlike the more symmetric design of the Pioneer omni-ships, the warships resembled more traditional ships, possessing thick armor capable of protecting the ships from destructive attacks.

Across their bodies was the crest of the Panamic Alliance and the Panamic Space Organization, representing the symbols of the organizations that the ships belonged to.

"Dispatch complete. Remaining on standby." Admiral Vensherh remarked into a mic, before turning it off. Not even he had any idea what was going on. He was aware that three Pioneer omni-ships had run into crises in distant star systems, and that his job was to reinforce them. But what he didn't understand was what the hell he was supposed to do if the energy needed to charge the Interstellar Gate required many months to be collected. The entirety of the Panama Continent needed to dedicate a solid percentage of its energy generation for months for the amount of energy needed for even a single wormhole to be opened to other star systems. No one had any idea what the Emperor of Water had in mind when he ordered fleets of warships with hordes of Martial Masters and Martial Sages on board. And yet, they heeded his words. The Emperor of Water's authority was so overwhelming that not a single person thought to even question him.

"Sir, we are detecting an approaching figure on the other side of the Interstellar Gate."

The admiral turned towards the screen displaying the floating figure of none other than the Emperor of Water, widening his eyes with surprise. What was the Martial Transcendent doing out in outer space near the gate?

Rui gazed straight at the admiral through the ship, speaking directly to him. "Get ready, admiral. You have some pioneers to rescue."

His voice seemed to drill directly into his mind from many kilometers away in the vacuum of space, something that the admiral couldn't even fathom.

And yet, he could feel the extraordinary Transcendent presence of the Emperor of Water. The closer he drew, the more the very fabric of reality felt like the surface of water, as if reality itself were water.

Because the Martial Transcendents of the past had been gone for so long, regular people didn't even know what they were like, even in theory. To be exposed to one in such a manner made them realize that Martial Transcendents were different beings entirely. They weren't just Martial Sages, but with more power, they were nothing short of gods bound to human flesh.

Admiral Vensherh still had absolutely no idea why the Emperor had ordered such a mobilization of troops, but he ultimately heeded his words, remaining on stand-by.

Rui turned in the direction of the Panamic Space Organization with a pointed gaze. "Activate the Intestellar Gate."

Many kilometers away in the headquarters and command room of the Panamic Space Station, Director Brenner heard his words in his mind, nodding with solemn expressions. "Yes, Your Majesty."

Rui's ethereal eyes shifted to the giant ring around him that began vibrating with tremendous amounts of power, mobilizing the huge lake of negatron matter contained within its depths.

RUMBLE

He could feel the very fabric of reality curling where he stood. The very fabric of space and time is vibrating, warping under the weight of the spatial manipulation of the Interstellar Gate. It began by creating a bridge that connected two distant points by altering the very geometry of reality to connect them.

And yet, its destinations were too far.

It took too much energy that it didn't have.

Barnard's Star, Sirius, and Procyon, the three star systems where the Pioneer omni-ships had experienced genuine tribulations that were above their pay grade. And yet, they were light-years away.

The Interstellar Gate struggled as it tried to bore a hole in reality that far away in vain, lacking the energy.

And yet, it had Rui.

RUMBLE!!!!!

Rui's ethereal eyes flared with an extraordinary amount of power as he mobilized his Realms of power. His Martial Heart blazed with power, spreading energy across his entire body, illuminating his blood vessels with a bright light. His Martial Mind and Soul roared with power, coursing energy through his entire body.

And they were insufficient by themselves.

They alone were not enough.

RUMBLE!!!!!!

The very fabric of reality shook as Rui activated his Martialverse, expanding his consciousness through the information dimension. It flowed like water.

Unimpeded.

His Martial Embodiment, merely an illusion just a moment prior, infringed upon reality itself. True water erupted from him with an unprecedented might and unstoppable momentum. And yet, it didn't so much as even put a scratch on Intestellar Gate before him. It didn't so much as even dent the fleet of warships around him.

"It's water…!" An analyst aboard the fleet of warships whispered as the sensors of the ships detected large amounts of H20. The entirety of the vacuum of space was being filled with the true, actual water. FWOOSH!!!

The water protectively swept around the gate and the fleet of warships even as Rui activated his Martialverse. The phenomenological uniformity across his entire mind allowed him to infringe upon the very nature of reality itself. The tertiary laws of reality and even the law of causality no longer bound him.

It allowed him to perform feats that would otherwise be impossible. A single remark escaped him as he mobilized his Transcendent power.

"Transcendent Worm Step."

It was the same old teleportation technique that he used as a Martial Sage, but this time, unshackled by the limitations of reality. Space warped and curled to astronomical degrees even if the energy wasn't present.

It didn't matter if there wasn't enough energy.

They stretched and warped underneath the weight of matter and energy, they adaptively evolved their geometry to suit the causality of the world around them.

"Space is Water."

Everything was Water.

RUMBLE!!!!!

Almost like a whirlpool, the very fabric of space-time flowed in a manner that defied causality, stretching light-years in the distance to distant star systems.

WHOOSH

In the blink of an eye, a hole was bored through reality, opening a portal to Barnard's Star.

"Go," Rui commanded with a strong tone of voice. "Go before my time is up."

Admiral Vensherh's expression of awe and amazement hardened into one of determination.

"Yes, Your Majesty!"

FWOOSH!

A fleet of warships passed through the Interstellar Gate, emerging on the other side.
