He knew it was possible for him to maneuver around it, but it was unlikely that he would be faster than a sentient planet that could almost instantaneously create a storm that spanned an entire continent.

Heaven and earth shook in the face of the power mobilized by the sentient planet. Ceeran could almost feel the esoterics working to mobilize a large amount of power that led to the creation of a dark storm that loomed in the air above him. CRACKLE CRACKLE CRACKLE!
The storm immediately lashed out as devastatingly powerful lightning bolts emerged from it, charging towards him at blindingly high speeds.
And yet, the man was a Martial Sage.

"Rgh!" he grimaced as the powerful winds held despite his power as a Martial Sage. The sheer force with which the planet seemed to be able to manipulate winds shocked Sage Ceeran. The winds were held together by a force that exceeded even his power, making it extremely difficult for him to get out of it.

"Rghhh!" He grimaced as a blast of current passed through his body through the winds, as if the wind currents holding him were consorting with the storm to allow the lightning to go through. The power planet had rendered him, a Martial Sage, entirely incapacitated, unleashing a powerful barrage of attacks upon him one after another.

But the sheer power mobilized by the sentient planet was tremendous, making it impossible for him to overcome it.
The simplicity of the arrangement also meant that there were no convoluted strategies he could deploy to exploit any vulnerabilities. On top of that, he was weakened by the fact that he was not on Gaia. The exo-Martial suit was indeed a great product designed by the Esoterist, but it still had its limitations. The fact of the matter was that outside Gaia, Martial Artists were still quite weakened.
It was beyond him.
It was beyond the power of one Martial Sage.

Sage Ceeran's eyes widened as the winds blasted apart, freeing him from his tornado prison.
"Not doing too well, are we, Ceeran?" The voice of Sage Vericita drew his attention as he widened her eyes at the elder Martial Sage. For a moment, he thought he was hallucinating on the verge of death.
And yet, he wasn't. "What…" Sage Ceeran murmured with a stunned tone. "What are you doing here?"
"Let's get out of here first." WHOOSH
In the blink of an eye, they teleported away from the planet, finding themselves in a warp chamber aboard a warship in the blink of an eye, surrounded by panels that warped the very fabric of space and time. It was a device inspired by the Worm Step technique that the Emperor of Water had created, allowing for the instantaneous teleportation of objects through the power of negatron matter, warping the very fabric of space and time.
However, Sage Ceeran knew that this device was not present on the pioneer omni-ship.
This was an entirely different ship altogether.
"Where are we…?"
"Aboard a warship from the 72nd fleet of the Panamic Space Force, of course," Sage Vericita remarked, giving him some healing potions. His eyes flew wide open even as he caught the healing potions. "…The 72nd fleet? You teleported me all the way from Sirius back to Sol?! Isn't that impossible?"
Sage Vericita chuckled. "No, we're still in Sirius. We are reinforcements that were sent to help you out with the unexpected threats that were above the pay grade of the security measures of the Pioneer omni-ship."
That was even more shocking to Sage Ceeran. "How in the world did you even get here?!"
Sage Vericita smirked as if she had been waiting for that question. She enthusiastically told him the answer to the question with a hint of pride. Sage Ceeran's eyes widened at the answer, realizing it was even crazier than if he had been teleported across light-years. "He did… what?" He murmured with a stunned tone. "He saved your life, and the lives of many others, however…" Sage Vericita turned around, gazing at a screen featuring live footage from the exotic gargantian.
"We still have a threat to deal with."
Far away in the distance, the gargantian seemed to quiver and shake in the vacuum of space.
