"What is it doing here?!""Dammit! Mobilize the siege weapons!"
"Get the pathwalkers we have here to mobilize!"
The space organizations of the world, of course, almost immediately detected the arrival of the gargantian into their Solar System. Each and every single major civilization that was tracking the ongoing operation was immediately alerted to the threat that had teleported to their Solar System in the blink of an eye. Not a single person knew why the gargantian had arrived in the solar system. Wouldn't it make more sense to run away to another star system than teleport in such a distant direction? Maybe the planet didn't know that it had arrived in the same solar system that its enemies were from?
Regardless, the reason didn't matter as much. What mattered was that a large smoldering planet stripped of its crust was barreling in the direction of Gaia. If left unstopped, it would blast into their home and destroy it.
And yet, only one person understood why the planet had chosen to come to their solar system.
It wasn't to destroy Gaia.
No.
Rui's ethereal eyes directed a knowing gaze at the conscious planet behind him, even as he maintained the wormhole with his Transcendent power.
"You seek to reproduce with Gaia."
His words reverberated through the very fabric of space-time, moving at the speed of light. His tone was calm and knowing while his Transcendent gaze bore deep into the planet's body as he beheld the very information that defined its very existence.
That was why he could see.
That was why he could see that the planet was in 'heat.' It hadn't accidentally come to this solar system.
Not at all. The reality was that the wormhole that he had opened was pointed in the direction of Gaia, which meant that Garg must have been able to get a good sense of her during the battle.
And his reaction… well, one could see exactly how he was reacting to her exquisitely perfect body.
RUMBLE!!!!!
His body quaked as lava shot out from within the depths of the mantle, its new surface spewing all around as the planet quivered with excitement, charging towards Gaia. It must have been because Gaia was aesthetically a beautiful world, which she certainly was, and due to the fact that she was already partly esoteric. And also because she was absolutely massive. Although Garg was a big fellow, he didn't compare to the sheer scale of Gaia's volume, although that only appeared to excite him even more.
Gaia had her own thoughts upon seeing the crazed planet rush towards her in a highly inappropriate manner in its desire to reproduce.
RUMBLE…
The world home to civilization quivered as a wave of tremors washed over the surface of her body. It was the planetary equivalent of a reaction of disgust, as though her skin was crawling at the very thought of reproducing with a freak like Garg.
"Hey, back off." Rui glared at the approaching planet. "She said she doesn't want you buddy. Respect her boundaries. You can't reproduce with someone without their consent. That gets you fifty years to a life in priso—"
RUMBLE!!!!!
If the Gargantian Hive had a conceptualization of individual liberty and fundamental rights, this particular specimen was not doing a good job of exemplifying. For it continued charging towards Gaia at a high speed, even if it would have still taken an hour to reach, even at that pace.
However, the powerful planet was more than able to act even at a distance of many light minutes.
RUMBLE!!!!!
It began warping the very fabric of space and time, exerting a truly astronomical amount of power to create a powerful gravitational wave. One that would have drawn Gaia towards him through gravitational attraction.
One that would have destroyed all life on Gaia, of course.
Rui's eyes sharpened.
"Not on my watch."
The sheer amount of gravity that the living planet managed to generate was on par with that of a star. Most likely, it used the remaining esoteric matter within its body to generate an astronomically intense gravitational well. And yet, before the might of a Martial Transcendent, it was all but naught.
A single gesture was all it took. With one hand, he maintained the wormhole, pushing through the very fabric of space to burrow through all the way to the Sirius System. With the other hand, he held the very fabric of space, anchoring it against the gravity that Garg created.
WHOOSH
Immediately, the geometry of space-time returned to how it was before. His Martialverse altered the very fabric of reality, amplifying the effects of his space anchor, making it impossible for Garg to use gravity to accelerate towards Gaia and to bring her towards him.
RUMBLE!!!!!
Struggle as the planet did, but it couldn't budge against the extraordinary power of a Martial Transcendent.
Even though both of his hands were busy, Rui was confident that he could take on the powerful creature. He was confident he could destroy the entire planet with just a single kick, since his legs weren't busy.
But he hadn't forgotten the original goal.
The original goal wasn't to destroy the planet.
The goal was to harness its reproduction method.
If he wanted to do that, he couldn't destroy the planet.
"I need to observe it as it gets close so that I can study its reproductive method."
With his Transcendent Gaze, he would be able to get every ounce of information that he needed and supply it to the relevant expert to technologize it with Gaia.
At the same time, he couldn't simply allow the planet to get closer without any problems.
He was already having his hands busy with opening a wormhole to the army on the other side, which desperately needed the energy to fight off the vast golem army that had begun assaulting all of Gaian Civilization. He turned towards Gaia with a confident smile. "It's time, Gaia. We haven't ironed out all the chinks in the plan, but… push has come to shove."
RUMBLE
The planet lightly tremored with a hint of enthusiasm and anticipation, evidently understanding what he was referring to.
