Chapter 4222 Achieved Goal

-o—o-o's six eyes lit up with enthusiasm, delighted at the fact that the Divine Mother saw in his report something that was worthy of her attention, something that drew her interest, clearly. CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK…

"Thank. You. Divine. Mother. O-o-o-o," he continued with a more motivated tone of voice. "In. Her. Eyes. I. Saw. The. Universe. It. Is. Hard. To. Describe. What. Exactly. I. Was. Seeing. However. I. Am. Rather. Confident. That. It. Wasn't. A. Mere. Technological. Illusion. No…"

His tone grew more certain.

"I. Saw. The. Universe. In. My. Mind. When. I. Looked. Into. Her. Eyes."

For the first time in the conversation, the Divine Mother appeared to be truly engrossed in what either one of them had to say. She turned towards them, halting the egg-laying process that she had been engaged in. Each gesture she made sent ripples through reality in a manner that permeated through them the way that vibrations permeated through strands of web.

She got up from the little nest of web that she had nestled herself into, walking towards -o—o-o slowly.

STEP

STEP

STEP

Each step she took seemed to ripple through reality itself until she arrived before the injured male homoarachnoid. -o—o-o kept his head down, not daring to raise his head before the ungarbed Divine Mother. TAP

The tips of her fingers pulled his head as she peered into his six eyes.

CLICK

"Show. Me."

She didn't even need him to do anything. She could peer into his mind.

Or rather into the information dimension and the integrated information that composed his mind. The web of information that comprised every thought, emotion, and every experience he had ever had. She could sequester his memories as they were without him needing to move.

She could feel his pain. His awe. As well as hints of lust in his eyes, no matter how much he tried to hide it. But she merely moved deeper into his memories, searching for the memories he spoke of.

Minds were complex phenomena, even from race to race. They weren't as organized as the data on computers; they were vastly more disorganized and messy.

But she found what she was looking for.

She caught a glimpse of the 'humans' that Oo—o- had reported on. They were curious. She could see that they were more interesting than she had initially given them credit for. What surprised her was the fact that they were this powerful without corresponding infected matter in their body.

More than anything, she could see what -o—o-o had failed to see.

She could see the fact that the source of their power wasn't merely matter and energy, but something more. Something more that allowed them to garner a tremendous amount of power that they would otherwise be unable to gather.

There was more to these creatures than met the eye.

At least, the eye of lesser beings who couldn't see reality as she saw it.

More importantly, she found the female human that -o—o-o had fought. Clearly a younger one, compared to the others on the battlefield. Her eyes were of a rich amber while her hair was as golden as the fur of the Divine Mother herself.

And then she saw it.

She saw what he saw.

She saw the universe in her eyes.

Not just a visual depiction.

But something more.

A web of information that corresponded with the galactic filaments that spread across the entire universe. A web of integrated matter and energy.

A web of integrated information.

The six eyes of the Divine Mother widened as a faint possibility emerged in her mind about what she was looking at.

CLICK

"Could. It. Be…?"

She wasn't sure. Unfortunately, -o—o-o's limited awareness meant that the information in his mind was ultimately very limited. The Divine Mother could only extract from it his very limited perspective of the world, which ultimately made it extremely difficult to know whether she was looking at what she thought she was looking at. A part of her felt the desire to go out there and find out herself.

Unfortunately, the consequences of that were, as always, not worth it.

She turned towards Oo—o- whose expression was one of confusion. CLICK

"I. Have. Changed. My Mind."

CLICK

"You. Shall. Have. The. Reinforcements. That. You. Seek."

CLICK

"Ensure. That. You. Capture. This. Female. Specimen. And. Bring. Her. To. Me. Alive."

Her six eyes sharpened.

"Understood?"

The two lesser homoarachnoids simply nodded with a hint of confusion and ecstasy. They didn't know why the Divine Mother had changed her mind all of a sudden after hearing about the strange, anomalous female human that -o—o-o had fought, but they didn't complain. Both of them had gotten exactly what they wanted out of the meeting, making it a complete success.

The Divine Mother turned around, before stretching her arm, poking a finger into thin air.

Into space and time itself.

Her body glowed with a tremendous amount of power as she mobilized extremely potent and powerful esoteric matter, cracking through the fabric of space and time itself as she opened a wormhole.

A wormhole to another star.

From the wormhole emerged a single homoarachnoid.

A female homoarachnoid that had black fur across her entire body, garbed in web made up a special kind of esoteric matter.

Esoteric matter that caused the very fabric of space and time to quiver in her presence.

Her eyes were razor sharp, almost as if they could cut someone just by looking at them.

CLICK

"This. Is. My. Direct. Daughter. -o--o--."

The two homoarachnoids widened their eyes. A direct descendant. A homoarachnoid raised in the womb of the Divine Mother, rather than born from eggs externally. Homoarachnoids were capable of endogenous and exogenous birth. Those born endogenously inherited a fraction of the boundless power that characterized Divine Mothers.

They were among the most powerful warriors that Homoarachnoid civilization had to offer.

"She. Will. Vanquish. The. Red. One."

CLICK

"With. Her. Power. You. Will. Not. Fall."

She turned towards the two homoarachnoids with pointed eyes.

CLICK

"Do. Not. Fail. Me."
