RUMBLE...Far away in the Strehegeld Star System, a wormhole emerged, opening up into the star system.
From it emerged a giant spaceship.
An invisible spaceship woven from a web.
The cone structure of the spaceship was surprisingly non-firm. The ship gently swayed as waves rippled across its transparent body, as if it were a giant structure of cloth. Despite its sheer volume, it was almost entirely imperceptible to standard radar and other surveillance technology.
WHOOSH...
The moment the spaceship entered the star system, its thrusters cooled off, minimizing the energy signature, lowering the probability that it would be detected, as the wormhole that let it in immediately closed off.

"Conducting. Short-range. Environmental. Surveillance. Protocols."
Within the command room, or nest, rather, of the spaceship, numerous homoararchnoids were connected to a net of connective web that spread across the entirety of their heads.
They operated the spaceship, serving as its crew, directly through their webbed mind. The environmental scans conducted by the spaceship was transmitted to the minds of the homoarachnoids, allowing them to almost directly see what the Strehegeld Star System was like.
What they saw shook them to their core.
What was a binary star system was no longer one.
It was, instead, a system with a star and a black hole.
Not just that, the star system had been laid waste to with the ruins of hot gas, dust, and even molten rock.
It was evidence that a supernova had occurred.
It created a tremendous amount of distress in the homoarachnoid crew, causing a cacophony of clicks to emerge from them.

"Outpost. System. -o-oo-. Is. Extremely. Divergent. From. Predicted. State!"
"Planet -oo-o—o-. Is. Destroyed!"
"There. Is. No. Sign. Of. Any. Homoarachnoid. Survivors!"
To say they were shocked was an understatement. They had not expected the state of the star system to change so much relative to what it had been. The sheer destruction and desolation across the entire star system made them realize that the severity of the situation was much greater than they had expected.

A powerful voice swept through the command nest of the spaceship. The authoritative female voice cut through the distress of her subordinates.
"What. Is. Going. On?"
They directed their attention towards the two extraordinary presences that stood at the helm of the command nest. Each of them was female, of course. Their fur was a radiant gold-silver, glistening in the light of the command nest, while their bodies were covered in a gentle cloth woven from a web of their making.
Their six eyes could bore right through the presences of each and every single one of the lesser homoarachnoids in the command room, making them feel transparent.
In their presence, everything was a web. The very fabric of reality was merely a web that seemed to revolve around the two of them. An absolute authority hung in the air, forcing not just all lifeforms in their presence, but all of reality to bow down to their presence.
—oo-oo— the Webhunter.
-o- the Deathweaver.
The former appeared to be more mature in her appearance and her body language, while the latter was younger, several inches shorter than the former. The two Divine Mothers dispatched by the Homoarachnoid Web Civilization to investigate the silence from Planet Amadeus III and from Divine Mother O-o-o-o.
The fact that the homoarachnoids had dispatched two Divine Mothers showed just how seriously they took the disappearance of a Divine Mother. It was not something that they were willing to let slide.
They didn’t even need to go over the data collected by the spaceship. Each of their Transcendent six eyes could peer far beyond the spaceship, scouring the entire star system.
What they saw made them lose even their composure.
"...This. Entire. Star. System. Is. Ravaged," —oo-oo— couldn’t help but murmur with a stunned tone of voice. "Outpost. World. -oo-o—o-. Is. Also. Completely. Destroyed."
Pure fury emerged in the six eyes of -o-. "This... This. Was. Done. To. Us! Someone. Has. Destroyed. A. Precious. Outpost. World. And. Has. Killed. Our. Divine. Sister!"
—oo-oo— turned towards her younger sister with a brief glance. "We. Don’t. Know. That. Yet."
She turned back to the star system, studying it even as she stood at the helm of the command nest. "...It. Is. Possible. That. This. Is. The. Result. Of. The. Supernova."
-o- turned towards her older sister with a scowl. "O-o-o-o. Would. Never. Die. To. A. Supernova! She. Was. Too. Strong. For. That... She. Would. Have. Been. Able. To. Protect. Herself. And. Planet. -oo-o—o-. With. Her. And. She. Would. Have. Sent. Us. A. Report. Detailing. Everything. That. Happened!"
—oo-oo— remained silent at those words, her expression growing more grim.
Indeed, a supernova would not have been enough to kill a Divine Mother unless she was already extremely wounded or exhausted. Especially when most of the energy of the astronomical phenomenon was spread across the entire system, diluting the density of its power after the explosion.
"On. Top. Of. That!" -o- turned towards the black hole at the center of the star system. "That. Star. Was. Too. Young. To. Go. Supernova! Red. Dwarf. Stars. Have. The. Largest. Lifespan! It. Simply. Cannot. Be. Explained. Unless..."
She turned towards her sister with all six of her eyes sharpened into slits.
"Unless. Someone. Or. Some. Entities. Attacked. Planet. -oo-o—o-. Killing. Her. And. Destroying. The. Planet. And. Then. Had. The. Star. Go. Supernova. Ahead. Of. Time. To. Make. It. Seem. Like. It. Was. An. Accident."
"For. Now... Let. Us. Keep. An. Open. Mind," the older homoarachnoid woman asserted. "Let. Us. Investigate. The. Entire. Star. System. And. Planet. -oo-o—o-. If. What. You. Are. Saying. Is. True. Then. The. Exo-Forensics. Team. Will. Find. The. Truth... You. And. I. Will. Not. Miss. It. With. Our. Administrative. Authority. Either."
"You’re. Damn. Right. I. Won’t." -o- clicked with a voice of vengeance. "Whoever. Caused. This. Will. Regret. Declaring. War. Against. The. Homoarachnoid. Civilization!"
The homoarachnoids had arrived at the scene of the crime with two Divine Mothers to boot, and they were determined to learn the truth.
