That was the primary concern of the Divine Mothers at the moment. Although they still wanted to punish human civilization for its leader killing three Divine Mothers, they were much more motivated by their greed for power. The leader of the Virus Faction knew her sister was right, of course. War mobilization was not something that could be done on a small scale. The humans had also begun mobilizing warships, their various combat units, and small crafts. There were also visible shifts in supply lines and the logistics surrounding them that the arakai were able to identify.
Their surveillance of human civilization had revealed numerous other things that had caught their eyes as well.

"That’s. Not. Too. Surprising. Considering. They. Found. One. Of. Our. Outpost. Worlds," Divine Mother ——oooo clicked with ease. "They. Must. Have. Some. Way. Of. Identifying. Infected. Worlds. Might. Have. Something. To. Do. With. Their. Strange. Paths."
As far as the leader of the War Faction was concerned, this was not a very interesting observation. Especially considering that there were many other aspects of human civilization that were much more extraordinary than simply their ability to find infected worlds.
For instance, what she was really interested in was acquiring the tremendous combat power of the pathwalkers of human civilization. The fact that their infantry was equal to that of Arakai Web Civilization despite the latter being a thousand times larger than human civilization was utterly astonishing.
Then there was the unfathomable rate of expansion. Conquering ten thousand stars in just thirteen revolutions of their home planet around their home star. Of course, conquering ten thousand stars was easy for the arakai, but the first ten thousand were always the most difficult and time-consuming phase of interstellar expansion.
It had taken the arakai a whole millennium to conquer as many stars, though things proceeded much faster and more smoothly once they crossed a critical phase of expansion and their technology breached a certain point.
Divine Mother ——oooo knew, from all the reports that she had gotten, that it was only a matter of time before the humans surpassed them on the technological front as well. Technology was hard to grade because every species approached it differently. But there were universal landmarks.
The electromagnetic force, the nuclear force, the gravitational force. Space-time technology. Higher technology. There was also a universal metric of energy harnessing in their technology. What sources of energy a civilization was able to tap into spoke a lot about their technological advancement.
The arakai had already confirmed that black hole energy generators, Dyson Spheres, and antimatter were common high technology. And the dwarves had even gone as far as to master one of the highest classes of energy technology, which was dark energy technology.
At the rate of advancement that they were going through, it was only a matter of time before the dwarves, and later the rest of human civilization, would reach and even surpass the arakai.
"We. Must. Acquire. The. Power. Of. Paths. And. Pathwalkers. Before. Then," Divine Mother ——oooo declared with a serious tone of voice. "But. More. Than. Anything. We. Must. Learn. How. To. Overcome. The. Price. Of. The. Webverse."
