Chapter 1108: A Shame

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

His head rose and shifted to the left side as he stared at the Elemental Control Training room and the All Technique Creation room.

He stared at them for a moment. He suddenly felt as though these two rooms would recreate the madness of the Combat Refinement and Attunement room. A smile appeared on his face as he shook his head and decided not to think about it. If it happened, he could only manage and endure. It wasn’t like anyone had forced him to come here and train.

’What I learned from the Combat Refinement and Attunement room will help me immensely at the All Technique Creation room,’ he thought to himself as his mind swirled with endless applications.

But it wasn’t just that, even whatever he would learn at the Elemental Control Training room. That room was his next target, after all, what he learned there and what he learned at the Swordsmanship Training room and Combat Refinement and Attunement room would combine and mix, birthing new Stanzas for his Song Of Virelass Rapier Technique.

And not just that, even his Formless Body Techniques would receive an immense boost.

So, creating new techniques now by entering the All Technique Creation room and then entering the Elemental Control Training room last would be stupid.

He exhaled and rose to his feet and made his way towards the Swordsmanship Training room. He had to revisit that place to channel what he had learned over the past three weeks into his Swordsmanship. Yes, he had spent two weeks with this room previously, but he knew he wasn’t going to spend that much time here again.

After all, back then, he was training and searching for answers, but now, it was different. He already had the answers; he just had to fill in the blanks.

Asher settled into a stance with his weapon in hand as he started moving. His figure was a blur as his speed increased one moment, then decreased as his mind went through what he had gone through for the past three weeks.

He infused everything he could into his Swordsmanship, but it wasn’t enough to step into the next realm of swordsmanship, as it seemed the wall was that high. This time, it only took two days to finish. Although he had infused his lessons into his swordsmanship on the first day, he had perfected the next.

If Perfect Muscle Memory and Optimal Movement Efficiency weren’t helping, it would have taken longer.

Asher stepped out of the Swordsmanship Training room. He didn’t waste any unnecessary time there on having useless thoughts and the likes. He simply stepped into the Elemental Control Training room.

The moment he opened it, he met five other doors leading to various elements. Asher stayed silent for a moment as though considering what element to train first. After a few seconds, he turned and headed towards the room with Lightning and a Lightning symbol etched beside it, written above the door.

The moment he opened the door, a titanic bolt of Lightning slammed into his chest before he could even blink. Asher, who had an insane attunement and affinity for Lightning, was literally shocked for the first time since his transmigration. His hair, which he had arranged a couple of minutes ago, seemed to become weird as it became spiked and pointed upwards as smoke flowed from it.

As the door closed behind him, another titanic bolt of Lightning tore towards him again, but Asher immediately covered himself in his Lightning Armor, and the moment he did, the Lightning bolt attack vanished as though it recognized him.

Asher tapped into Crimson Pact as burnt hair regrew, his hairline perfect once more. Who said that Crimson must only be used for injuries?

Asher’s eyes rose upwards, but all he saw was an immense mountain with a black, charged cloud spring above it that poured down millions of unadulterated, pure Lightning Storms each second. Anything that wasn’t of Lightning here would instantly be attacked and reduced to nothing. It was why the moment it sensed Asher’s Lightning Armor, its second attack stopped.

If he dared to deactivate his Lightning Armor here, he would be bombarded to death by his own affinity.

’Should I let myself be bombarded by Lightning?’ Asher thought to himself as he stared at the huge mountain in amazement. He couldn’t help but also wonder how this huge mountain was fitted into an underground since this training facility was underground.

But as he thought about it, he shook his head and decided not to think too much about it. A lot of things were unusual about this place, starting from those wicked puppets that were controlled by something unknown to the Altar of Souls that could literally bring back the dead in some way.

A mountain being underground was nothing compared to any of these events.

He decided to let the Lightning here bombard him. It seemed to be the purest form of Lightning, as everything had a purity level. With the idea, Asher walked forward and sat down in what appeared to be the middle of the room. He deactivated the Lightning Armor; the moment he did, two bolts instantly changed direction and slammed into him from the left and right.

Asher instantly created a purple Lightning that flashed above his head as he tried to read the black Lightning that coursed through his body. He wanted to know if he might awaken something or gain something if he endured this a million times or something.

’The Flash gained his ability by being struck by Lightning, right?’ he mused to himself.

But after a moment of thought, he dropped the idea; this was reality and that was fantasy.

If it were possible, people would be walking around with superpowers by now. After all, there were many people within Crymora who failed their awakening and took matters into their own hands and tried to awaken by any means, or at least gain anything or something.

Asher didn’t dive straight into creating some absurd Lightning skill or whatever. This wanted to increase his control over Lightning first, then create new skills and strengthen the ones he already had.

Asher spent a week going through every foundation of Lightning he knew. Within this place, he seemed to become a better Lightning user as Lightning seemed to obey him easily. No, it was more like they understood his instincts before he even willed it into existence, hence making Lightning react first before his will.

It was sheer madness when he discovered this. It was as though his talent for talent had tripled or something.

But he knew he couldn’t spend much time in excitement, so he got back to training. As his control over the element improved in just a week and five days, he transitioned into making new skills with his current control.

He couldn’t help but have a dangerous idea. With his new control of Lightning, could he tap into the electrical impulses flowing through the heart and brain of his enemies, then make them explode, hence causing their hearts and brains to explode?

Asher’s eyes widened as he considered it... it seemed ridiculous, it seemed almost impossible without anybody to experiment with. He didn’t dare carry out such experiments on his own body.

He could only curse that the Photon Clone didn’t have actual organs; if not, that was the perfect guinea pig.

A shame.
