Asher could hardly believe what he was witnessing at this moment. Right in front of his eyes, he was feeling the pressure of Lyra, the existence of a being at the Crownstar Life Rank. His purple eyes trembled as he simply watched; he couldn’t help but wonder how Lyra had jumped to the Dust Crownstar Life Rank within just nine months of training.

It was pure madness to him. It was as though anytime he left Lyra and came back, the woman would take another step forward. Earlier, he had left her for almost nine months, then she came back with information from the Blessed Land, the ability to Devour, and also an outrageous talent. Now, he had left her for eight months and two weeks, and she had stepped into the peak Major Life Rank within that time frame.

Although Lyra had broken through to the Crownstar Life Rank, she didn’t revert in age. Although she could look younger if she wanted, she didn’t; she looked every bit of forty, as though she didn’t want to fool anyone. Asher didn’t ask, as anyone was entitled to their choices.

’I wonder how long it will take her to get to the Radiant sub-Life Rank,’ he thought to himself as he stood speechless.

He knew Malrik had gone from the Dust Crownstar Life Rank to the Radiant Crownstar Life Rank in a time frame of just two years. He couldn’t help but wonder how long she would take.

’Normally, from novels and animes, stories always suggest that those from old times were always more talented than those of current times,’ he thought to himself as he played with the idea of Lyra suddenly being more talented than Malrik, since Lyra inherited her talent from a nineteen-thousand-year-old End-class Monster.

But at the thought, he dropped the idea completely.

"Congratulations, Lyra," he spoke, his tone calm yet filled with genuine happiness.

Yes, Lyra was now strong and had joined the top 0.1% of the world’s powerhouses, but he wasn’t happy because Lyra was his maid or because it meant he now had a Crownstar Life Ranker to order around.

He was simply happy for Lyra, as a person, as a friend, and nothing else. He wouldn’t deny that he would use her strength when necessary, but it didn’t change the genuine happiness he felt for her progress in life.

"Thank you, Young Master," Lyra replied, a smile appearing across her own face.

She too was happy. In her life, she had never seen herself getting to the Crownstar Life Rank. Although she had that as a goal and had gotten to the Dust Wavestar Life Rank, she knew even stepping to the Spark or Pulse sub-Life Rank of the Wavestar Life Rank would take her over a year at minimum.

Yet now, she stood here. Although she hadn’t gotten to the Radiant Soulstar Life Rank through her own abilities, or the Dust Crownstar Life Rank through her own natural talent but through an inherited one, why should she care about such a thing?

By such a statement, nobles should be stripped of their privileges, bloodlines, and advantages.

Now, all she had to worry about was Crownstar Life Rankers above the Dust Life Rank. Although she possessed some sneaky means to handle such people, she still had to be cautious of those who stood above her in cultivation.

"When did you break through?" Asher asked as he settled down on the chair within the room.

Lyra snapped out of her thoughts as she answered, "Just a week ago. I spent a couple of days getting used to my strength and the usual stuff."

Asher nodded. Although he never had to do any of that because of the Absolute Physique, he simply stared at Lyra for a moment. Even at this moment, she seemed no different from how she was before. Although her muscles were now denser, her bones stronger, and there were the normal physical changes that came with a breakthrough, but in terms of height, face, or anything else, she was the same.

"How do you feel?" he asked, as he wanted to know, just to be sure nothing went wrong.

Lyra raised her hands as she gazed at her palms. She stared at them for a moment, then spoke, "I feel... perfect."

Asher didn’t detect any lies, nor would Lyra ever lie to him, so he simply nodded at her words and asked another question that came to his mind.

"Are there any gains for stepping into the Crownstar Life Rank?" His asked calmly since it was the peak Life Rank of the world.

Lyra nodded as she spoke, "Yeah, although it’s not exactly much," she stated. The next moment, her body left the ground as she levitated. "The first gain is the ability to defy gravity." Her tone remained calm.

Asher watched. He didn’t sense any Astra energy being used, just Lyra’s body floating naturally as though gravity had no hold over her.

"Although the speed is fast, every Crownstar Life Ranker can still increase their speed of flight through Astra energy or whatever ability they possess if it can influence flight," Lyra continued as she floated downward, her feet meeting the ground. "The second gain is the ability to change physical age. Although at the other ranks below, one could change their age to an age they’ve already crossed, at the Crownstar Life Rank, one could choose to look older even without getting to that age," she explained, then proceeded to demonstrate.

At those words, her body began to age, her face bearing wrinkles as though she were some old woman. Her body became too thin, as though a random wind was going to blow her away. Her eyes became sunken, and her skin bore rashes or something of the sort.

To say Asher was dumbfounded was an understatement. As Lyra had said, he had thought that Crownstar Life Rankers could only reverse their physical age, but it seemed they could even manipulate their bodies to look like their future ages.

"Although I look like some random old lady that anyone could kill, even in this form, I possess my full strength and senses, none of them diminishing in any way or form," Lyra continued calmly.

Asher nodded his head as he had already expected this.

"And also, Crownstar Life Rankers can manipulate ambient Astra energy to the point that even the control that any Soulstar possesses over their own Astra energy pales in comparison," she stated calmly. "So, in a sense, we sort of possess infinite Astra energy, but that’s only the case if your own opponent has also run out of their personal Astra energy. If they haven’t, control over ambient Astra energy can never match that of personal Astra energy," she explained, then demonstrated again.

This time, all the Astra energy in the air halted as though they had all bowed to Lyra. The next moment, every trace of Astra energy within the room vanished and gathered behind her, leaving half of the room completely devoid of Astra energy.

Asher simply watched. Although he didn’t currently understand the full extent of Lyra’s current Astra control, at this moment, he knew that even Debro couldn’t do something like this when it came to manipulating ambient Astra energy.

"And finally, regeneration has increased to an absurd degree," Lyra continued. "Although I can’t regrow my limbs or grow a new organ, I can heal other types of injuries if they aren’t too major," she added in finality.
