Everyone nodded at Lieutenant Chioma’s words. They didn’t care whether the Tenth Sun received more money than they did or not. As for why they didn’t care, the answer was simple. Asher was a Wargrave, a Noble. He was probably here because his family loved entering battlefields for the fun of it. Hence, he was never here for money and would never lack it.So, whether they paid him a thousand platinum coins or not, none of them would care. The Tenth Sun probably had more money than they could ever make during their entire time within this Frontier.
Asher couldn’t help but smile as he remained seated. He sort of loved the rule.
"As for the base wage of the other Ranks, you will learn about that in the future, as it isn’t important at the moment," Lieutenant Chioma continued. "Now, speaking of Ranks, there are seven Frontier Ranks, which are generally consistent throughout all Frontiers and Outposts, no matter which one you go to." Her tone remained calm as she walked back and forth, never staying in one place.
"The seven Ranks are Cadet, those at your level who wear a dark green uniform; the Corporal Rank, those who wear the red uniform; the Lieutenant Rank, those who wear the blue uniform like me; the Captain Rank, those who wear the purple uniform, like the man you met before coming here; and the General Rank, those who wear wear the brown uniform." She paused for a moment before adding, "Then we have the Vice Commander, who wears a black uniform, and the Commander, who wears a white uniform," she explained.
Everyone listened attentively, as none of them wanted to miss anything that was being said.
"Using Cadet Asher as an example again," Lieutenant Chioma continued after pausing for a few seconds to allow the Cadets to follow her words.
Asher couldn’t help but sigh internally. ’Shouldn’t I be paid for being used as an example so many times?’ he mused to himself without a change in facial expression.
’It seems you are already so popular. It won’t be hard to start your Hero Journey,’ Acker spoke to Asher telepathically.
Asher couldn’t help but roll his eyes, but he didn’t reply to the mentally ill guy beside him.
"Frontier Ranks can’t be scaled simply because you are powerful. To climb the Frontier Ranks, you have to put in effort and contribute during missions and deployments. This way, whatever Rank you are given will feel much more earned," Lieutenant Chioma continued calmly, as she didn’t rush through any explanation.
Nobody reacted, as they had already expected this. If Ranks could be given out based solely on strength, powerful people would simply need to join the Frontier and receive the Ranks as gifts.
Of course, there were special scenarios, like FatelessPen, who was likely Malrik’s Vice Commander at the moment. One couldn’t expect a Crownstar Life Ranker to start out as a Cadet, right?
Asher didn’t speak or complain. It wasn’t as though he was expecting to jump Ranks or anything of the sort. Just as people couldn’t skip Ranks in the Life Rank system, everything had to be taken step by step.
At the same time, Asher couldn’t help but think about how easy Cadet-Ranked missions would be for him. While other Cadets might struggle, he and Acker certainly wouldn’t, as they could bulldoze their way through everything.
As Lieutenant Chioma finished talking about the Ranks, she moved on to the next agenda on her list. She walked forward and started sharing the dark green uniforms meant for Cadets. Asher took his, his body vanishing for a moment. The next moment, he reappeared, already wearing the dark green uniform.
Seeing Asher’s method, the other Cadets began changing their clothes by using their Astra energy to create domes around themselves.
However, there was a single boy who seemed to be about five years older than Asher who took off his clothes without using Astra energy. Asher couldn’t help but stare at the boy’s immaculate physique. His gaze wasn’t sexual, as he wasn’t attracted to men.
[Ding]
[The Host has encountered a Physique on par with the Absolute Physique]
As the message flashed through Asher’s eyes, he sat stunned. He didn’t know how to react. He was speechless, literally. This was the first time he had heard about a Physique that matched the Absolute Physique.
’Hey, System, isn’t the Absolute Physique the best there is?’ Asher couldn’t help but ask.
[Although the Physique the Host possesses is called the Absolute Physique, it is obviously not the best or greatest Physique in existence, as the Host isn’t that naive to believe such a thing, right?]
[But the Host needs not worry. Although this Physique is on par with the Absolute Physique, the Absolute Physique possesses the name Absolute for a reason]

Asher stared at the System’s message. He couldn’t help but wish that the System had a physical body. It was the only way he could teach the System a lesson.
His purple eyes shifted to the boy, who was putting on the dark green uniform. He couldn’t help but wonder how strong the boy was.
The boy turned his head, his eyes focusing on Asher as he sensed Asher’s gaze. After a moment, he broke eye contact and returned to his seat without a word.
Acker wore a dark expression. He loved his Monk Kasaya robe and couldn’t bear taking it off to change into the dark green uniform. He felt that it wasn’t meant for him. But after a moment, he sighed, gave up, and changed into the uniform. However, his two prayer beads remained. He wasn’t going to give those up for anyone or any reason.
He folded his Kasaya robe, said goodbye to it, and transferred it into his space ring.
As for Lyra, she wasn’t given a uniform, as it seemed Lieutenant Chioma had been briefed in advance that she was only there to protect the Tenth Sun and not join the Frontier.
"Since everyone is done changing, I will also explain a few more things," Lieutenant Chioma continued. "One is that you aren’t allowed to defy an order from a higher Rank when it comes to an official capacity." She stressed the words ’official capacity,’ so if a higher ranked Soldier ordered someone to have sex with them and they obeyed, then they were simply stupid.
"And also, your uniform comes with inbuilt recording functions that automatically record your merits and contributions during missions and deployments," she continued. "It is through these recorded merits and contributions that you can climb the Ranks. How fast you climb depends on how quickly you can accumulate these merits." She paused for a moment.
"We also have the Report Department, so in case anyone is trying to abuse their power to get you to do something you don’t want to do, feel free to report them, and they shall be handled swiftly," she stated calmly. "We also have those from the Miscellaneous Group. Unlike us, they don’t wear uniforms, so they can wear whatever they want."
She paused for a moment before continuing, "The work of the Miscellaneous Group is simple. They cook the food you eat, craft your weapons, arrange your beds, polish your armor, and handle anything outside of fighting." She leaned against the board behind her as she continued.
