Chapter 1246: Destruction Effects

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

Seeing the incoming attack, Azazel leaned backwards, dodging effectively. The moment he dodged, Azaron had already transitioned into a low sweeping kick, as having a spear didn’t stop him from using his legs to attack.

His foot struck Azazel’s ankles, the impact bringing the man down towards the ground. Before his body could slam into the ground from the attack, Azazel caught himself with his hands, his chest barely a metre away from the ground.

Azaron didn’t stop. Ender, which had been plunged into the ground, vanished from its position and reappeared in his grip. Without missing a beat, he performed a downward thrust towards Azazel’s skull from behind, as even though they were best friends, it didn’t stop them from aiming for vital points.

Azazel’s danger senses rang out. He focused his strength into his arms, then leaped to the side like a rabbit, dodging in the nick of time. As he dodged, Azaron’s spear tore into the ground with devastating power, tearing open a literal sinkhole, with lava spurting from below as though the planetary core had been exposed.

Azaron picked himself up from the ground as he was already on the move. His figure shot towards Azazel, but Azazel had closed the distance first, his finger shaped like a sword as he stabbed towards Azaron’s chest, aiming to tear apart his heart.

Azaron, seeing the incoming attack, simply thrust forward, blocking it with ridiculous ease. But Azazel wasn’t done. He lowered himself like a cat, his upper limbs and one lower limb meeting the ground as his other leg shot upwards like a missile. Seeing the incoming attack, Azaron shifted to the side, dodging with ease.

As he dodged, he unleashed a low slash with his spear, targeting Azazel’s ribs while the man remained lowered to the ground.

Azazel sensed the danger, and his body vanished from where it was, flickering into another location. But the moment he reappeared, a tear echoed through the air as Azaron had drawn first blood. The injury was deep, his ribs showing as the wound bled.

But Azazel didn’t care, as the injury simply vanished under the effect of his ability.

The moment the injury healed, Azaron was there once more. The instant he appeared, Ender screamed forward as he unleashed a million thrusts in less than an instant.

Azazel blurred into motion, his senses heightening as his fist shot forward like a gatling gun, meeting each thrust head-on without taking a step back.

Azaron flickered to the side with another thrust, but Azazel had already anticipated it. He leaned away from the attack, catching Azaron’s spear beneath his armpit with his right hand, his left hand shooting outwards like a bullet as he struck Azaron’s chest with a palm strike.

Azaron’s body shot backwards in a blur, crossing an immense distance. Before he could catch himself, Azazel was already there. He appeared above Azaron, his foot raised towards the sky as he brought it down upon Azaron’s head.

Azaron’s senses flickered at the incoming attack. He twisted his body at the last possible moment, his fist roaring outwards as he met Azazel’s foot with his own fist, the atmospheric pressure went haywire at the point of contact as the shockwave from the attack blasted both of them backwards.

While midair, Azazel recalibrated. His fist shot outwards, striking the air barrier once more. The air barrier broke as an all-consuming shockwave erupted with cataclysmic force, roaring towards Azaron, who was on the ground.

Azaron, who had just landed, snapped his head upwards, his spear following as he thrust it towards the incoming attack, unleashing his own madness.

And with an erasing crescendo, both shockwaves slammed into each other, compressed rings of wind and wind arcs ringing outwards, tearing through everything in their paths as over one million kilometres radius was annihilated once more.

Through the destruction, black eyes and golden eyes shone as they stared at each other.

Behemoths recognising behemoths.

They tried their best not to smile at each other, but it was useless, as grins broke across their faces.

Their love for battle and carnage took over as both of them forgot the reason they had come here in the first place.

One stepped into the air, the other stepped upon the earth, and at the same time, they leaped towards each other, their Astra Energy surging as they closed the distance.

Azazel’s muscles bulged as more strength seemed to appear from nowhere, his veins snaking beneath his skin. With a deafening impact, his fist met Azaron’s spear once more.

The moment Azaron’s spear met the gauntlet, his body shot backwards like a ragdoll, his body slamming into the ground below as a ravine tore open. The moment his back met the ground, Azazel closed the distance, his speed having skyrocketed in tandem with his strength.

His fist swung towards Azaron’s chest as the man lay on the ground on his back, aiming to burst open his chest.

Azaron couldn’t react in time. Azazel’s fist met his chest with a force greater than that of a meteor. The impact tore through Azaron’s Astra Energy-enhanced chest, the force ripping through his skin as his chest caved inward.

With a boom, the earth exploded outwards as the ravine transformed into a sinkhole, and both of them sank into it.

Azazel didn’t stop. He wore a grin as he sat on Azaron’s abdomen, unleashing a frenzy of attacks without pause. One punch echoed after another, each moving with the same speed, each connecting with the same power.

Forehead. Nose. Chin. Cheek. Chest. Cheeks.

It didn’t matter; Azazel punched everything as he unleashed thousands of attacks in an instant. He seemed to have lost all reason, moving purely on animalistic instincts, yet with machine-like precision and accuracy.

Azaron could do nothing at that moment, as Azazel’s continuous attacks gave him no time to recalibrate or even think. Blood splattered from his body as his face was mangled and twisted, his bones and ribs puncturing various organs within his body as he felt nothing but utter pain.

Azaron, who was familiar with Azazel, understood what was happening. He understood why Azazel was suddenly faster, stronger, and more animalistic.

Azazel’s ability had activated in earnest. It was another effect of the man’s ability, just like the healing from earlier.

Azazel’s ability was called Destruction. Its explanation was simple: the more destruction Azazel caused, the more effects he could unlock.

This was how the man came to be known as the Black Disaster.

The first effect was healing, basically allowing him to heal infinitely with no Astra Energy cost or anything of the sort, the more destruction he caused.

The second effect was enhanced physical prowess. The more destruction he caused, the stronger, faster, and more durable he became.

The third effect was animalistic instincts, which granted him ridiculous instincts and even allowed him to perceive the future randomly as a sub-effect.

There were other effects, too.

Azaron tapped into his Nebula Affinity. He hadn’t used his Nebula Affinity because he didn’t want to bully this friend of his from the get-go.

Now that th Destruction ability and its effects were activating one after another, it was Azazel’s turn to receive a beating.

I was away for two days because I was processing a visa application.

Because of how well Cleaver Of Sin is doing, we were invited by Webnovel to the UK. This wouldn’t have happened or been possible without the constant support, super gifts, and love I receive from you guys.

And I shall appreciate it until my dying breath.

I released six Chapters: two Chapters for two days ago, two Chapters for yesterday, and two Chapters for today, totaling six. As usual, I replace Chapters for missed days.

Bonus Chapters shall resume tomorrow.

Also, next week, I will be going for a visa biometric scan. I might not upload that day either, as I have to travel for it, or I might just upload a single Chapter that day.

And finally, this author loves you all, and I hope you all know that.
