Chapter 561 Strength Of Dao.

This chapter is updated by NovelFree.ml

Yang Dao alerted everyone and they began to attack the Daemon’s eyes. The attacks were all strong and were not held back in any manner. However, as the attacks came, the Daemons became smarter in dealing with them. They would either ignore the attacks or they would defend it by taking the attack on a different part.

The super healing of the Daemons brought a strong headache for the five. Yang Dao could see that the wound in the eye socket had not healed but the enraged Daemon was stronger than earlier. He could not figure out why the Daemon was getting stronger.

While the five disciples were having trouble facing the two Daemons, the sect masters outside deduced what was going on. They could all see that the strength of the enemies was increasing directly in proportion to the cooperation of their disciples. Lysa clicked her tongue and said, “This is tricky.”

The other four nodded. The Sect Master of the Titan sect said, “If only we could communicate with them.”

The sect masters were worried that was normal but the fellow disciples were also discussing something. Catching the whispers the sect masters turned their eyes to look at the group from the sovereign sect. Lysa asked, “Sun, why are your disciples so quiet? Do they not worry about their fellow disciple?”

She just wanted to divert her mind from the constant worry about her disciple inside the isolated space. Sun Eckhart replied, “You can ask them on your own.”

Lysa raised her eyebrow and asked, “Tell me, why are you all so calm?”

Cal was standing at the forefront, he bowed to the old lady and said, “Senior, we can only trust those disciples inside, and thus we think, staying calm and analyzing things is better than worrying and missing the chance to learn from this scene.”

His words were polite and did not sound offensive but it was clear that he passed a message under the wraps that they were busy learning from the people inside the isolated space and it was the queue for her to shut up. Lysa interpreted the meaning, but she did not get enraged, the boy had used a polite manner to put his notion forward. She was a magnanimous elder..ᴄᴏᴍ

Finding herself unable to reply, the old lady turned her attention back to the spirit screen.

Inside the isolated space, Yang Dao said, “Hector, use your voice. Guys use essence to block the sound.”

The command was quick and Hector did not hesitate at all. He let out a yell for a second, which left the two Daemons stunned.

What followed was a barrage of attacks from the people. Bai Hu attacked with his strongest sword skills and Seth followed his lead. Natalie was standing far away from them but she was still affected by the yell. Hector himself was a little out of sorts. That was not all but the people outside the isolated space were also somewhat dazed by the sound attack they just heard.

What surprised the people was that Yang Dao was moving unaffected, the speed of his sword was even faster than before. The dao Child had wrapped his ears with spiritual essence and the water source energy. He isolated sound completely and made sure that the vibrations does not come to him.

He mumbled, “Spirit Wind Blade.” The attack was so quick that people only saw the upper half of the head of the Daemon flying off in the void. Blood works bloomed after the attack was completed. The daemon could no longer attack and fell to the ground. Yang Dao did not have the time to celebrate his victory and unleashed another spirit wind attack in direction of the other daemon.

Bai Hu and Seth had managed to push back the Daemon. Yang Dao picked up the correct time and his sword intent landed directly at the neck of the Daemon. Unprepared for a sneak attack, Yang Dao managed to kill off the second daemon. After he finished killing the Daemon, the boy sat down on the ground with a huff. The last two attacks took a toll on him that was greater than the combined stress before.

He was yet to completely replenish the essence of spiritual energy inside his golden core. As the boy sat down, the voice of the Trial Spirit sounded again, “The stage is cleared. You have twenty minutes to decide which one of you will be abstaining from the next stage. The level of the opponent will not be passive anymore.”

Yang Dao did not have much energy inside him to struggle with this guy, so he just raised his sword at the sky. Bai Hu and the rest came over to his side and Seth asked, “How are you?”

“Exhausted.” said the young boy and sat under the shed of a tree with his back leaning on the trunk. he said, “Big brother, you all can decide what to do next stage, I would like to replenish my strength.”

He did not want them to develop under his hand so this was time he let them make some important decisions. That said the boy went to close his eyes and began to cultivate. bai Hu shook his head and asked, “What do you guys think we should do?”

Seth replied first, “I think we should send someone outside. I am not sure whom to name, but the battle was tougher. The aim is to get as ahead in the stages as possible, so we should give up on the ideological thinking that something might work out. This is not how battles are won.”

Natalie nodded and said, “You are correct, I am willing to go out. I did not do anything, if not for Young Master Yang to catch that arrow and shove it in with greater strength, I would not have been able to help.”

Bai Hu closed his eyes and sighed. He said, “Then it is decided, that Natalie will be going out.”

Natalie nodded and quickly she took out a few bottles from her space ring. She said, “Take these, in case you all get hurt and need to replenish your strengths. They will be of no use for me outside.”

Hector was not polite and took hold of the bottles. The guys thanked her for her magnanimity and Natalie chuckled, saying, “I did not expect you all to be so courteous.”

The guys all did not mind her joke and laughed. Even Yang Dao revealed a small smile on his face when he heard the jokes. ρꪖꪕᦔꪖꪕꪫꪣꫀꪶ

The elders outside saw the scene and felt complicated. They did not have any good relations with each other’s sect yet the younger generation was able to get along so fine. Sun Eckhart said, “Let us leave the relationships to the younger generation. They are innocent and have a clearer heart than us the old people.”

His words were agreed upon silently as the sect masters nodded. They all followed the righteous path and fought against the Daemons where ever they might find them, and in such conditions, if they encountered a disciple from the neighboring sect, who was the same as them yet they could not come together, then it will be a shame for them to be called allies.

Suddenly, inside the array formation behind Sun Eckhart, Yue Jing completed her golden core and advanced to the next level, however, when she opened her eyes, she found herself to be isolated from the outer world. She took out her communication talisman and sent a message to Shakti. The latter quickly asked Fang Chang to undo the array and Noah to undo his protections as well.

Yue Jing was surprised to see that Sun Eckhart and Elder Cao were present at the scene. She bowed to the two seniors in greeting and came to stand with Shakti, as she asked her what the fuss was about.

Inside the isolated space, twenty minutes passed in a blink, and the Trial Spirit sounded once again. The voice asked, “What have you decided?”

Natalie stood forward and said, ‘Senior, please send me out of the trial.”

The next moment, her body glowed with a bright golden light as she vanished from her space. Then the trial spirit said, “The third stage will not begin.”

Yang Dao opened his eyes and stood up to fight with the Daemons thrown at them. They all were expecting three Daemons at the minimum but they were met with one only. This one Daemon was carrying a double-handed ax and had a body twice taller than the human kids, The beast had the torso of a man, while the lower body was like a furry bull.

Bai Hu said, “This guy is stronger than the other three combined.”

His words made Seth and Hector exchange a glance and gulp down a mouthful of saliva. Yang Dao on the other hand put back his sword and took out a silver bow. He said, “I will take the lead, you guys can relax.”

That said, he did not even wait for them to react and walked ahead. While he was cultivating, he recalled the warning issued by that lady in his dream, she said, that a bad time was ahead. He became serious, and the smile on his face had vanished somewhere. As the Daemon charged toward them, Yang Dao held the end of his bow and swung it around like a mace, but the people all heard a numbing clanging voice.

The sound was produced after Yang Dao’s weapon and the Daemon’s ax. The Daemon was pushed off by three feet, and Yang Dao slid back by one. The boy did not let the beast attack and disrupt his rhythm. He knocked the bow into a full moon and a blue shining arrow condensed between his fingers.

twang…

The arrow flew through the void and lodged itself inside the shoulder of the Daemon. Then Yang Dao said, “I have more.”

In the next moment, his arrows began to fly over and turned the Daemon into a hedgehog. But that alone was not enough, he had to call over the three people to help him. The battle continued and everyone used their best skills to counter the Daemons.

After two more rounds, Seth withdrew from the isolated space. In the next round, Hector used his most powerful attack to numb two bull Daemons, and then exhausted his throat prowess. He could still compete physically based on his spear skills but Bai Hu told him not to over-exert himself. The rest time was extended to forty minutes, but that was not enough for them to heal up and get back to their peak.

They had been taking wounds and gashes from the smart and sly attacks of the Daemons. Yang Dao was the only one, who had gotten away with just a few bruises. The next wave of Daemons was a cross of a tiger and a human. The Daemon had sharp fangs and claws, with a speed that surpassed the two boys by a lot. However, they depend on their keen senses to counter the beast and used their sword intents pretty well.

The sect masters outside the isolation space could not help but praise them for the display of valor and skills. However, in the last moments, Bai Hu went in for the kill and ended up getting hurt but the barbed tail of the Daemon, he managed to slay the beast but it cost him a big chunk of meat from his torso.

Yang Dao frowned and even after taking out his best healing pill he could not help the guy heal within forty minutes. Thus Bai Hu was forced to withdraw from the trial as well. His master fed him a saint-grade healing pill and the wound healed within seconds.

Outside the isolated space, everyone saw a young boy, exhausted, yet unwilling to give up. Yang Dao stabbed the tip of his sword into the ground and sat down on the ground to cultivate. The comprehension of his cultivation sutra experienced a minor advancement. The young boy inhaled the spirit energy around him at a higher pace and fused it with his golden core.

Sun Eckhart noticed this situation and smiled faintly. Yue Jing asked in a low voice, “Senior Sister, will Dao be able to hold on? I just hope that he does not get injured seriously, or what will I tell grandma and his mother.”

They had told the elders in the family about the trial and Yue Jing was asked to take care of the boy. Shakti patted her on the head and said, “The strength he has is not something that can be judged by normal parameters, just wait and see how he turns the table.”

Yue Jing nodded in silence, her eyes brimming with concern. While some were praying for the young boy, some were wishing for his doom in silence. Well, okay, only Yue ming was such a person.

Yang Dao sat on the ground with his hair in disarray, his face serious, the aura around him was not sunny anymore. All this while he had been controlling his rage and vexation for the Daemons in front of him. He did not want to be driven by his emotions, he did not want anyone to see that he can lose control. His mother has always taught him that the strong should not lose control of their emotions and must always maintain calm.

These words had been the key, to why he was able to control himself. He did not want his mother to be let down if he lost control. However, now that he has come so far, he was just a step away from mastering the art of control. This battle was going to be his test to master the feeling that overwhelmed him at this moment.

He discovered that he could calm himself down if let go of his thoughts. He stopped controlling his thoughts and let them fly, at this moment, the trial Spirit said, “Final Stage begins.”
