Chapter 518: Mary

It was past noon of the next day when Victor woke up feeling extra refreshed as usual.

He was in the center of his large bed with his wives collapsed all over him, totally exhausted. It was all his fault… Well, not really… He told the girls that he would be leaving today and not be returning until after the tournament, so, feeling that it was their last chance to get pregnant, they all demanded a full ‘course’-Margaret style.

Now, they were probably regretting it… or would do that, when they woke up.

He slowly climbed from between the rubble of last night’s battle, then, after covering the girls back with a bedsheet, he walked into the bathroom that was already prepared.

Alpha was naturally standing there waiting for him all morning, according to his instructions last night.

“... Come on…Do you expect me to clean myself!” he scolded.

“...” Alpha could only shoot him a glare, then began working. The only thing she was thankful for was that the girls took all of his energy last night, sparing her from her designated Bedroom duty. “This place doesn’t have a sponge… I already asked one of the girls to get one, can you wait a bit…” she suddenly said.

“I already ordered them to be removed… You have all that's needed!” Victor said with an evil smile, making the aggrieved Alpha realize what he planned to make her do!

… This became the most humiliating experience in her life… Until that moment at least!

Anyways, after taking a good, relaxing bath, he walked out all sparkly clean, leaving a heavily blushing girl in the bathtub who couldn’t completely believe she was forced to do all that!

Naturally, nothing happened beyond a normal bath. The girl was not fully cooked yet, but it wouldn’t take long…

Smirking, he walked down into the dining room where a breakfast table was ready for him with only four girls sitting around it. Elise, Theta, Ruby, and Margret, who smartly chose to opt out of yesterday’s carnage.

“Morning…”

“Good morning…” the girls replied with a slight blush as they inspected him. They could swear that every single day, he was growing more charming!

“Where are the rest of the alphabet girls?” he asked as he took his seat.

“They already ate…” Theta said. The reason she didn’t have breakfast yet was because, like Margret and Elise, she wanted to do it with Victor. “Beta took Gamma and went to check on the girls that we left at the mountain base!” she added. “As for Alpha… She went to help you take a bath and hadn’t returned yet…” she bit her lip as she said it.

“Don’t worry about that girl, she is still alive…” He chucked. “You mentioned the girls at the mountain base… Did you mean the fat ones Lily got?” he asked.

“Yeah, but they are thin now! Apparently Lily went out of her way to make them slim up... Wanna go see them?” Margret asked.

“I will do it briefly before I leave… I wanted to take my time to get to know them this morning, but I no longer have any time!” he sighed. The battle last night was really tough… Especially with having to scam Axel while doing that. “For now, let’s eat… I am starving!” He told the truth.

“Why leave today? The wedding is tomorrow?" Elise asked nervously. The wedding was at noon the next day.

“I have to attend Gary’s bachelor party… I am going to be his best man after all!” Victor smirked. “And…” he squinted his eyes, looking at her. “Although you might not want to go, you have to… They are your family!” he said. “And it will be a good chance to reveal that you are fully cured!”

“... I know…” she sighed, looking down.

“Lin, Alpha, and Theta will accompany us!” he said casually.

“Me too!” Theta looked up from her food with a bright smile.

“Yeah, I hope you rested enough last night… After the Wedding, I plan to make a few detours, and it would be a good chance to check in with your family!” he said.

“What… Why…” she frowned, not wanting to go to that place again.

“I plan to formally propose if you don’t mind!” he said with a bright smile.

“Ah….” Theta blushed in shock as she didn’t expect this.

“I promised you before!” he said casually.

Theta looked down, blushing.

“You also plan to visit the Von Rosen ancestral lands after that?” Margret asked. She had long known that Victor wanted to add Theta to his Harem, but wasn’t this a bit soon?

“Yeah, then we will head to the tournament!” he said casually. Yeah, he was acting fast, but with all the things he knew now, and all the mess with the Lords, the dark chamber, and the Sprite empress, he was no longer sure that he would be able to go back home any time soon, so he wanted to complete any unfinished business!

This was a part of his always having a backup plan, and his ultimate trick in case something bad were to happen was to drill into his cauldron and hide, and this might force him to stay away for a while until he manages to free himself using his Slaves or in worst case scenario, create a new gate to ismeralia and then return from there!

“I understand…” Margret frowned a bit, knowing what he meant, but like him, she believed that for now, he was doing the right thing!

After that, the meal went on normally with Victor asking about how Theta’s Dungeon raid went and how Axel was super cool saving the day time and time again!

“Young master….” Hilda suddenly walked in.

“Hilda! Is there anything?” Victor asked as he used a napkin to wipe his mouth.

“My daughter… The one I talked to you about, her bus just stopped down the mountain, and she should be on her way here!” Hilda said, a bit nervously.

“Oh… You really brought her in quickly!” Victor was surprised.

“Knowing that the young master is traveling in a few hours, I did!” Hilda didn’t hide this. “To tell the truth, my daughter had some guy going after her, and if she couldn’t be chosen soon, it would be troublesome! And knowing that the young master plans to stay low for a while, I urged her to travel here immediately!” Hilda explained.

“Oh… Fine by me, I think….” he said as he stood up. “Let her come see me at the Gym!” he said.

“At the Gym?” Hilda frowned.

“The Chicks want me to check their training, so I will see her right after that!” He said as she walked out of the room, he gave the chicks the clan’s martial arts he got from his ancestors’ hidden chamber back then. It was to see if it worked on normal humans. Last night he ordered them to wait for him in the morning, and they were still there…. Waiting!

“...” Hilda sighed as she watched him leave. Why did he have to expose her daughter to that from the first day?

“Yeah, he always has to make people get the wrong idea about him!” Margret said with a chuckle as if completely reading Hilda’s mind. “Your daughter is no exception!”

“Ok, Mary, if that moron young master does anything to you, just call me… My father works for an elder, as you know, and I might be able to pull a few strings…” A girl’s voice came through Mary’s phone as she stood in front of the large gate holding a huge travel bag.

“Don’t worry, my mother already arranged everything, so it should be ok!” Mary sighed. “Will call you later,” she said.

“Take care then!”

“Bye!”

Mary ended the call, then, after putting away her White Phone VI in her bag, she fixed her formal office lady dress, then walked toward the gate…

She looked around searching for the interphone before noticing a booth to the side where a little girl in a cute maid dress sat in a booth reading a comic magazine.

Mary sighed as she walked toward her.

“I…”

“Sorry, I had been a bit engrossed….” The little girl quickly put the Comic away as she noticed the newcomer. “Aunt Hilda already told us about you, Miss Mary… I am here to wait for you! “ she said as she pressed a button, making the gate open. “Follow me…” she said, jumping from her chair, then walking across the gate.

Mary nervously nodded and followed as the girl got into a golf cart, then gestured to her to sit behind her as the gate closed behind them.

“You can put your bag on the back…” the little maid said as she adjusted her seat and pressed a pedal, then the cart began to move. “Usually, I am not the one at the gate, but those chicks had to go and have an inspection today, so…. “ she sighed. “Well, at least I got to finish a chapter!” she said.

“I see… “ Mary nodded. She had no idea what the girl meant by chicks, but she knew not to ask. “Do you work here?” she asked as she looked around. They were following a well-paved road surrounded by trees on both sides.

“Yeah! Soon we will be coworkers!” she said.

“... I see… Nice to meet you, I guess…” Mary sighed. After spending a few years outside, she almost forgot how depraved the Von Weise family was. Hiring little girls as maids!

Still, she had no choice but to come here.

While studying abroad, she happened to meet a young master from the family who fell in love with her and confessed to her on the second day they met!

She refused. Not only did she hate this young master’s depraved character. She had a secret crush whom she already liked… Sadly, that guy was made to drop out of college after that young master threatened his family; she had never seen him since! She didn’t even dare to go look for him!

The only silver lining in this was that the young master was not an Heir as he didn’t have the von Weise bloodline, so he couldn’t directly take her as his maid. But the problem was that his elder brother was an Heir, a very important one. That guy planned to make his brother take her as soon as she returned to the family. That's why she called her mother for help, as she heard she worked for some high-ranking elite heir.

That’s why she was here right now, doubting her decision.

Well… According to the news she heard, that pervert Victor already has a harem of 10-something girls, so he probably wouldn’t care about her…

Slowly, the cart climbed the mountain, not heading to the main mansion but to a giant domed structure.

Moments later, they arrived, and Mary, who was very nervous, immediately relaxed when she saw a familiar face waiting for her in front of that building's entrance! Hilda!

“Mom!”

“Mary!”

The mother and daughter hugged each other.

“How have you been, Mom?” Mary asked.

“I am fine… Come on, let’s go inside, the young master is waiting for you!” Hilda said before turning to the little maid. “Take the luggage to Mary’s room in the servant’s building! We will talk about you secretly reading comics while on duty later!” she said before gesturing to Mary to follow her inside.

“Ah… Understood!” the little maid said, then drove off while sweating a bit.

Mary gave the cart one last look, then followed her mother inside.

“I really spoil those girls…” Hilda shook her head as she walked inside.

“They came from the family?” Mary asked as she hurried to walk beside her.

“No, the young master saved them from human traffickers then arranged a job for them here… Don’t let his outer persona fool you, the young master is really a good guy!” Hilda said as they finally entered what looked like a basketball court.

There on the wooden floor, about 40 burly naked men in very tight shorts were flexing their muscles as they surrounded a handsome young man dressed in a suit. Although not aware of what the fuck was going on here, Mary immediately knew this guy’s identity from his signature purple hair. It was her new master. Victor Von Weise.

Mary frowned. Were they filming a kung-fu movie?

“Ready?!” someone asked, making Mary finally notice the slutty woman sitting on the stands with three other young girls. There was also one maid who had an eyepatch who stood behind them, operating a large camera.

“Yes…” one of the burly men said nervously.

“Go!” the woman commanded as she adjusted a camera in her hand.

BOOM!

Almost immediately, all the men jumped Victor in the center in a coordinated fashion.

BANG!

BOOm!

BAM!

What followed made Mary’s jaw drop as she watched the young master take care of all the men with ease.

As soon as one of them approached, Victor only needed to use his palm to slap the burly man’s body, and he was pushed away along with a few others. Whenever one jumped him from behind, he would move aside, grab the attacker by his arm, then, with a twist, throw him away. Some of them hit their colleagues, others just flew to hit one of the stands.

It was a one-sided massacre, but still, those men climbed up in a moment after falling down, then jumped back to join the fight. But the result was the same! They were being hit again and again.

It was totally inhuman, especially with Victor’s clothes not even getting wrinkled in the entire process… Yeah… This was definitely one of those things that young masters do, shooting a movie to scam girls.

She could only feel sorry for the burly stuntmen who got slapped and kicked in the process!

Bam!

Bang!

BANG!

The entire thing ended in 10 minutes with the burly men all on the ground with bruised bodies.

“So that’s it…” Victor, who dusted his cuffs after throwing the last man, said. “How much?” he turned and asked the woman on the stand.

“45% increase since last time!” the redhead said as she looked at a log in her hand.

“Not bad!” Victor nodded just as Hilda stepped down from the stands and approached him with Mary right behind her. “You guys take a rest, then we will try the weight lifting!” he said to the men before turning to look at the newcomers.

“Young master, this is my daughter Mary, whom I told you about!” Hilda said politely as she watched a little maid hurry toward Victor’s side with a wet towel.

“Nice… Nice to meet you, young master…” Mary swallowed and said nervously.

“She is not bad…” Victor said as he whipped his hand while inspecting Mary from head to toe. “Not as pretty as my girls though…”

Mary frowned. Why was he comparing her to his girls? Did he plan to do that to her… DAMN IT…

“Thanks for the compliment, young master… Mary would be more than pleased to serve you!” Hilda, who got his hidden message, said. Contrary to what his daughter thought, Victor didn’t plan to add Mary to his harem, or he would have directly told her to see him in the bedroom!

“Eh…” Mary almost cursed at her mother. Did she just escape one young master to fall into the hands of another? Was this really her destiny?

“Of course she should be pleased!” Victor nodded to himself. “Yesterday, your mother told me that some young master set his eyes on you. Who is he?” he turned and asked Mary.

“Ah…. His name is Lao, he is not that important as he is not even an heir, but his big brother is called Bruno, who is also an elite heir… He went away on some mission, and Lao had been waiting for him to come back so he could get me for him!”

“Bruno?” Victor paused. The same Bruno he had lying in his cauldron?

“Yes… the son of elder Talon…”

Victor sighed. That Talon was probably dead now, as he was on Marcos’s team. The news must have still been kept a secret by the family. “I see… You don’t need to worry about those guys,” he finally said.

“I… I understand… ” Mary didn’t get what he said, but just nodded. The moment she became Victor’s maid, Internal family drama was no longer her problem!

“I heard you can do business?” Victor asked.

“I can! I have a Phd in business administration and financial management… Also…”

“No need to continue… “ Victor interrupted her. “From now on, you will work with my wives, Margret and Aria… They are the ones who know best about such boring stuff…” he said, casually pointing toward the redhead.

“You will work for me?” Margret said from the stands. “We will talk later after you settle in!”

“Ah… Ok…” Mary frowned a bit then nodded.

“What’s her family's rank?” Victor asked Hilda.

“It is 10th rank Bronze…” Hilda said. The servants in the clan had 5 designations. Bronze, Iron, Copper, Silver, and Gold. The number behind the rank goes from 1 to 10.

Bronze meant that she didn’t know any secrets, and on top of it, had no idea about the existence of players; the ones who knew about players were directly promoted to Copper. Silver and Gold are the ones who managed to awaken and had high security access! She was Silver. Butlers like George and Kai were Gold.

“Then fill her in on the truth, then promote her to Copper…” Victor said casually as he threw his family token toward Hilda.

“Ah! Thank you, young master!” Hilda bowed. Filling in people about the truth required a special permission, one that only family elders or elite heirs had!

“What truth?” Mary asked.

“Follow me…” Hilda said as she turned and began heading toward the door. “Let’s go have some tea… There are a lot of things you should learn about!”

“Ah…. Ok?” Mary gave Victor and his harem one last glance, then turned and left. Not really getting what was going on here.

“CHICKS, ATTENTION!"

Someone called behind her, making her give the burly men who began to stand up and then gather into four military columns one last look before leaving.

Why were they called Chicks? And why was that little girl going between them and checking their wounds?

This place had many strange things going on!
