Before Su Yu could say anything, the dog continued, "I can't leave! Master is not back! I can't leave! I have to guard our home!"

The white dog knew that his two masters were humans. However, he had his own mission. A dog's mission. Since his master wasn't home, he had to guard their home. That was his most important mission.

Neither Culture King nor Time Sage had given him the mission to save humanity. He was merely a guard dog. Meant to guard their home.

Su Yu said nothing. He merely sat down on the stone bench in the courtyard. The courtyard was clean and tidy. It did not look abandoned at all. Clearly, the white dog had taken good care of the place.

The bluestones on the ground looked sleek and clean, and flowers were planted here and there. Beside the stone bench and stone table, a massive old tree stood, providing shade to the stone bench and table. This was indeed a good place to grab a cup of tea and rest.

After setting the teapot and two cups down, he lifted the teapot with his mouth and poured the two cups full with tea. Then, he said, "Have a drink."

Su Yu wasn't in the mood to drink tea, but as the fragrance of the tea reached his nose, he felt invigorated. Thus, he lifted the cup and smiled, "Thank you, Senior."

"You're welcome."
