Great Zhou King stood blankly for a long while.

It looked as though Su Yu had really vanished in the River of Time. His traversal was unlike the others, where they would traverse the tributary. Meanwhile, Su Yu was following the flow of the main river before vanishing into the distance. There was a big difference between the two.

The Heaven Gate was open. This was an extremely rare feat since ancient times. And Su Yu had opened it for real. He had seen the true face of the world.

Great Zhou King had mixed feelings about this. He sighed. Su Yu had transformed too much in such a short time. When they forced Su Yu into the position of the human lord previously, both he and Great Qin King had expected Su Yu to remain a nominal leader for now. They did not think that he would be able to do much anytime soon.

In Great Zhou King's opinion, it would be quite difficult for Su Yu to gain true control over humanity. By the time he grew enough to gain control, the connection to the Upper Realm would have been restored.

He had returned...in truth, many of them didn't even know about his departure. What was the point of telling them that he was back? For everyone, this was merely a short trip out and back. It was no big deal.

What could happen in less than ten days? They guessed that he had probably visited those allies of his. Most of them weren't even done recovering from their injuries. After the previous battle, only forty-three human Invincibles remained. A majority of them were singles, and all of them were injured. They wanted some peace to heal, but Su Yu was the nominal human lord. Great Zhou King was the one calling for their attendance. Thus, it would be inappropriate for them to be absent.

Before long, they dragged their injured bodies to the Starfall Mountain. Even those stationed in the Allheaven Battlefield were called back. It was fine since for now, no Invincible was allowed to battle in the Allheaven Battlefield.

Nobody knew what Su Yu wanted to do this time. Was he calling a meeting just to showcase his authority? In truth, many were quite uncomfortable with how domineering Su Yu was. He had killed Heavenly Seal King in public, as though he were killing a stray dog. That was an uncomfortable sight for some of the older human Invincibles, and they had been feeling uneasy since then.

In a short time, a large number of Invincibles were gathered. They landed from the sky one after another. Great Zhou King was already waiting in the valley.

After arriving, the slightly pale Great Han King looked around and noted many familiar faces. However, Su Yu was absent. He asked, "Old Zhou, why is Su Yu looking for us?"

They were still uncomfortable with calling Su Yu the human lord or Emperor Yu in private. After all, he was too young.

Even his ardent supporters, such as Great Xia King and the others, felt quite awkward calling him that. In public, they would address him appropriately out of respect. But in private, they found it awkward to address him with his title.

Great Zhou King appeared as calm as ever.

He remained silent for a short while before slowly saying, "I don't know. Just wait. A lot of people are still on the way."

Great Jin King complained impatiently, "We are all carrying injuries!"

His impatience was understandable. Their injuries were quite severe. Why were all of them called to this meeting for no reason? He was convinced Su Yu was only taking this chance to show off his authority. Why did Great Zhou King indulge him like this?

Great Jin King said, "Old Zhou, you shouldn't indulge him so much. Advise him more. Don't call for meetings like this for no good reason. Over the years, Old Qin has never done something like this, even when he was serving as the chief commander of the Allheaven Battlefield."

Just then, a cough rang out as Great Qin King and Qin Zhen emerged from thin air. Great Qin King looked quite frail compared to before. Even his sole remaining body had suffered grievous injuries.

With another cough, he said, "Stop complaining. Su Yu has just ascended to the position of the holy lord. He might have something to say. Just listen."

Great Jin King said gloomily, "Old Qin, I'm not even opposing his ascension. I know what you and Old Zhou are thinking. I'm not against your plan. He contributed greatly during the previous battle. I acknowledge that. But...he should think more before doing something, right? Look at you! You're having trouble just standing, yet you're required to attend this meeting as well. What a waste of time!"

Great Qin King frowned slightly and said, "Enough. Cease your complaints."

Finally, Great Jin King stopped.

Great Qin King looked at Great Zhou King and asked, "Did he tell you when he's coming out?"

"No. He only told me to gather everyone here."

They all knew that Su Yu had entered Culture King's Residence again. But nobody knew how long he would stay inside this time. They could only wait. Before long, Great Xia King and the others who were stationed in the Allheaven Battlefield started arriving as well. At the moment, humanity could still muster forty-three Invincibles.

After some time, several non-Invincibles arrived as well. People like Zhu Tiandao and Marquis Xia were among them. Both had arrived together with friendly smiles, looking like they were the best of friends. They took the chance to update the Invincibles about the progress of the construction of the new holy land.

Numerous tributaries flowed out of the River of Time, and they all differed in size and length. But how long must a tributary be for one to be considered a Master of Law? Su Yu had no way of determining that as he had never seen the dao of a Master of Law with his own eyes before. But from Culture King's Residence, he could see the white dog's dao. This so-called lawless land was only devoid of external laws. In truth, it had its own native laws.

Su Yu could feel that they were located deep inside the River of Time. Culture King had utilized an impressive power to suppress this stretch of the river, making it his own personal domain. This was also where the white dog and the others opened their tributaries from.

The white dog was wagging his tail. He was in a good mood. He could sense that Su Yu had changed. Now, Su Yu was starting to feel a little bit like his master. Not in strength, but in demeanour and bearing. That look in his eyes. It felt as though nothing could remain a secret from him anymore. Of course, the gap between Su Yu and Culture King was still big. However, those eyes were very familiar. That was a pair of eyes viewing the world from a completely different perspective.

Hearing Su Yu's question, the white dog shook his head and said, "I don't know. Master once said that there are no fixed standards for daos. It depends on your potential and ability. The dao of every Master of Law is different. Each person has a different potential. Some can rapidly become a Master of Law, but some will remain stuck for life."

There were no standards. It would be easy to determine if one was already the Master of Law for an existing dao. But for a completely new dao, nobody knew. After all, the length and size of an existing dao were already fixed. One could become the Master of Law by simply reaching the end. Thus, the creator of a new dao had boundless possibilities. Meanwhile, someone fusing with an existing dao had a fixed path.

Su Yu nodded.

He continued sipping tea.

Noticing that Su Yu would look up at the sky occasionally, the white dog asked, "You're skygazing as well?"

"Skygazing?"

Su Yu blanked out, recalling the two characters he saw on the rear entrance of Culture King's Residence in the mansion.

"Yeah. Master loved doing this as well." The white dog wagged his tail and said, "In the past, Master loved sipping tea while reading and looking up at the sky. It was as though the sky he saw was different from the sky we all saw. Are you the same? I noticed that you now love staring at the sky as well."

Su Yu blanked out slightly before nodding, "Yes. It's different. The sky in my eyes is different from the sky in everyone's eyes. In my eyes, there is a beautiful river hanging up there. It also resembles a tree, with countless branches spreading in all directions. It is a beautiful sight to behold."

The white dog remarked with envy, "So you really can see a different sky."

He wasn't capable of that. Other experts could only see an indistinct River of Time. They could tear a path into the river because the river was essentially everywhere. But Su Yu was different.

The Heaven Gate was simply too unique.

Su Yu smiled and said, "The more I look at it, the more I realize how small I am. I wonder if Culture King had the same thought. Perhaps he was strong enough not to care. There was only one master per dao. Dao Master. Master of Law. Great Dao Realm. All three represented the same realm. Perhaps he could use this to differentiate the different stages of cultivators within the same realm. For example, the master of only one law could be called a Great Dao cultivator. Naturally, this would remain an idea for now.

Su Yu said, "I believe I am now capable of bringing outsiders through the waterfall and helping them avoid the punishment of the laws."

He added, "But this is a very difficult place to switch one's dao. There are no daos here. But switching dao outside will invite the punishment of the laws. Perhaps I can let them switch their daos outside before taking them in here to hide from the punishment. I just don't know if the punishment will linger around to wait for them."

The white dog said, "I doubt so. The punishment will end after appearing. The result of the punishment should not matter."

"True." Su Yu said, "I saw the human section of the River of Time. The dao of physical body holds the majority. Or to be precise, it alone occupies ninety percent of the various human daos. Therefore, a human will instinctively pursue this dao right after starting their dao fusion. Those without the ability to see the true nature of the world will find it extremely hard to pick a different dao. To pursue a different dao, one might need to do what Great Zhou King did and start their dao fusion through their characters."

He looked at the white dog and asked, "Was this the case during the ancient past as well? Did the majority of humans pursue the dao of physical body?"

The white dog nodded, "Yes. But at the time, they weren't limited to the Three Body Method. Other methods could be used to pursue the dao of physical body as well. I don't know why that changed. The dao of physical body is very strong. I remember several human kings who were as strong as Masters of Laws just by pursuing the dao of physical body."

The dao of physical body was powerful enough to produce multiple human kings. One could only imagine how powerful it was. But that was understandable. Over ninety percent of the daos opened by humanity was comprised of the physical body dao. Its strength was evident from its size alone.

If one wanted to pursue a stronger dao, one would need to explore the River of Time and leave the human section of the river. Only then would one stand a chance at picking a different dao that was just as strong or stronger. It was not possible for one to open a new dao that was comparable to the physical body dao.

Su Yu thought about it and said, "The dao is damaged. Upon being repaired, I believe it will be incredibly powerful. It will continue offering its cultivators a bright future."

The white dog asked, "Are you cultivating the physical body dao?"

Su Yu chuckled and answered, "No. These are mere random ideas. I am uninterested in repairing such a powerful dao. That is not something I am capable of accomplishing."
