Chapter 1885: Entering The Upper Realm (1)

After the meeting with West Royal Consort, Su Yu started going through the treasures he had gathered. A lot of them couldn't be taken to the Upper Realm, including the weapons from Immortal Battle Marquis.

It was very likely that he would be detected the moment he stepped into the Upper Realm with that weapon. He also couldn't take any assembly tokens with him. All the treasures related to the Upper Realm, regardless of origin, would be left behind.

As for the fact that this would leave him without any dangers, it didn't matter. It was not an issue. There were so many rich experts in the Upper Realm. Their treasures were as good as his.

Anything he could see would be his anyway. Why should he care?

Skyeater, Hollow, Endless Passage, and September would join as the representatives of the allied races.

Additionally, there were twenty guardians who had yet to attain Daofuse. Su Yu did not intend to take them all with him. Rather, he would take nine of them. Grandstar would also go with him. Heavendoom wanted to go as well, but Su Yu rejected the suggestion. What a joke. That fellow was too good at stirring trouble.

All in all, there were twenty-four of them.

Including Su Yu, six of them had the combat strength of Daofuses. Hu Xiansheng, Endless Passage, and Skyeater weren't Eternals. Hu Xiansheng was brought along because both he and Hollow were experts at teleportation. They might prove useful up there.

While everyone was checking their belongings, Great Zhou King frowned and said, "Emperor Yu, there are twenty-four of you, but Guardian Sunray is the sole woman in the group. Is this imbalanced?"

He felt like Su Yu was too prejudiced against women.

There was no balance in this group.

Su Yu rolled his eyes and said, "Are you telling me that there are a lot of female experts up there?"

"Cough, cough. Actually, the number is quite big."

Su Yu frowned. After a long while, he said, "But we don't have that many female experts in the first place. Empyrean Cloud and the others are already Daofuses. I need to take more non-Daofuses with me."

Great Zhou King laughed and said, "I mean...you can pick a few more people"

They could make numerous preparations to stay low profile up there, but perhaps they would encounter powerful enemies right after arriving. And after killing an enemy or two, everyone would know they were there.

Su Yu rolled his eyes and said, "Shut it. We will hide our identities even if we are discovered. We will all pretend to be Heavenly Sun Marquis' subordinates if we are discovered. That guy died hundreds of years ago. Some of his subordinates fled after the battle. We will pretend to be those subordinates. Most of these survivors had been killed by Devilroil Marquis when he encountered them by accident. He did not take it seriously since there were no Daofuses among them. We will pretend to be these people when were up there. Remember to act well!

"September, Skyeater, and the others will pretend to be our mounts. It's not surprising for a human force to have some ancient race members in it.

"Remember, this is our cover when we are discovered. Do not tell them the truth. Humanity is weak up there. Everyone is busy hiding. Nobody will come out to expose us, but if you're too careless, the myriad races can still find out the truth."

Su Yu took some clothes out and manifested some images in the air with a wave of his hand. "Dress yourself in the same style. In combat, hide your strength as much as possible. Don't expose your full strength."

Nobody protested and did as told. The subordinates of each marquis would have different styles of dressing. Those slightly knowledgeable would be able to reach a conclusion as to their identities based on their style.

Su Yu said, "Great Zhou King, Lan Tian, and I can easily hide our strength up there. It is harder for September since he is newly advanced..."

He paused slightly and said to Great Ming King, "Great Ming King, there is no need for you to hide your strength. Since you're a human, you'll pretend to be September's master.

Su Yu only gave them a rough arrangement. He wasn't too meticulous about it. He only needed to ensure that everyone would stick to the same story. Then again, it was likely that they wouldn't spare anyone capable of noticing them. The fake identities were only meant for emergencies.

Next, Su Yu looked at the guardians and said, "Guardians, some of the old fossils up there might know you. The same applies to you, Great Zhou King. Just make sure to disguise yourselves well. Don't expose your identities."

Once again, everyone nodded.

At this point, they were starting to reach their limits as bathing in the River of Time really wasnt something anyone could do. Thus, Su Yu tore another rift in space and took everyone out of the river. Fortunately, nothing had been discovered on them while they were washing themselves in the river.

He wasn't worried about their loyalty, but he was worried that they might unknowingly carry some items that could be used as trackers to the Upper Realm. Before long, they were back in the hall.

Everyone was done changing into their new outfits. Great Qin King and the others had arrived as well. Everyone was looking solemn. They couldn't hide their worry about Su Yu's journey to the Upper Realm.

That was especially so since Su Yu had drained so much of his lifespan recently. Su Yu had nothing much to say. He had already said what he wanted to say.

He wasted no time and said, "For now, I leave the Lower Realm in your hands. Protect our gains. Punish any troublemaker severely. I don't care if they are humans or those from the other races. Director Wan, if you start to find these troublemakers hard to suppress, you may seek help. I have informed all of them about this, including those in the Death Realm."

"Yes!" Wan Tiansheng smiled, "Don't worry."

Su Yu nodded and said, "With Director Wan here, I have no worries. Great Qin King and Great Xia King are also good enough to keep the entire humanity stable. Don't mess things up. If you encounter a powerful enemy, don't fight forcefully. Prioritize protecting what we have for now. This is all."

Then, Su Yu tore another rift in space before looking at Great Zhou King. Great Zhou King said nothing and manifested a character before teleporting everyone through the rift.

He had learned to be very proactive in Su Yu's presence. There was no helping it since he had expressed the desire to see Hundred Battle King return several times in the past.

Eight or so teleportations later, Great Zhou King started panting from exhaustion.

At this point, they were already in the boundless void. It felt as though the darkness around them could stretch on endlessly. They did not stop there. Great Zhou King continued teleporting them. A few teleportations later, Su Yu sensed some unique fluctuations nearby.

Some guardians were stationed near the entrance to the Upper Realm. The moment Su Yu's group arrived, Openmountain and Battledome appeared alongside Zhao Chuan's group. Zhao Chuan's heart thumped when he saw Su Yu's group.

Were they...ascending?

Some of the experts in the group were familiar faces to him. And he couldn't help but admit that this human lord was truly brazen.

Ignoring Zhao Chuan, Su Yu glanced at Openmountain. Openmountain pointed above them and said, "The entrance is here. But it will only appear after three days. After that, it will only reappear after a month."

Su Yu did not need to say anything. Hollow and Hu Xiansheng went to work immediately. They started searching the area for any concealed formations.

Openmountain was relieved to hear that. He said, "That's good to hear. I have been worrying about this. After all, Heavenly Overseer Marquis is also in the boundless void."

Su Yu nodded in agreement. That was the main reason he was stationing such a large force here. And with that done, they started waiting for the entrance to reappear. Up above, Great Ming King and the others started their research. Even Great Zhou King was dragged into the research since he was supposed to know more about the entrance.

Su Yu ignored them and sent Openmountain a voice transmission, "After we leave, send Zhao Chuan's group back to the Human Realm. Nobody is allowed to come in contact with them before I return. I've already informed Director Wan about this."

"Got it."

Openmountain agreed readily.
