Su Yu laughed and said, "Calm down, don't be so emotional all the time. Have you never heard that two tyrants can never coexist? Control King's lineage is trying to conquer the Myriad Realms. Assume there are only two Masters of Laws in existence right now. One on their side, and you're the other. Will they leave you alone?"

"Hmph. That depends on whether they can really do anything to me." Martial Emperor declared proudly, "Even among Masters of Laws, I am no weakling."

Su Yu asked, "And are you sure that they only have one?"

Martial Emperor sneered again and said, "Can you lot still survive if they have more than one? If they had more, they would have wiped you all out long ago. Su Yu, don't treat me like a fool."

"Wow, that makes so much sense." Su Yu said, "But they might have a lot of pseudo kings, people at my level of strength. They can send like ten or twenty of them alongside a hundred or so Daofuses after you. Can you survive a force like that?"

"How is that possible"

Su Yu cut him off, "That's very possible. A hundred thousand years have passed. Even the myriad races, with their endless wars, have produced numerous experts. I recently killed nine pseudo kings among their ranks, but they have many left. I reckon there are at least twenty of them left. And Control King's line probably has a similar number of pseudo kings."

Martial Emperor sank into silence. Su Yu was clearly instigating him against Control King's lineage. He told himself that he would not fall for something like this. He would not allow Su Yu to manipulate him into killing Su Yu's enemies.

Seeing that Martial Emperor was ignoring him, Su Yu said nonchalantly, "You can do whatever you want. I have one final question. Do you know what the Hell Gate is?"

"Hell Gate?" Finally, Martial Emperor's expression changed. He gave Su Yu a long stare before asking solemnly, "Where did you hear about this gate?"

"This was the gate Control King guarded in the past, so I'm curious."

Martial Emperor answered, "I heard of that gate before, but I have never been there. As you can tell from its name, that is a gate leading to hell itself. Or to be precise, that is the true boundary between the Myriad Realms and chaos."

He explained, "After creation, chaos was separated by the Myriad Realms. However, chaos continued intruding upon the Myriad Realms through a single node. According to the legends, the Creator forged the Hell Gate to block the node and protect the Myriad Realms from chaos. This is the first prevailing theory.

"As for the second prevailing theory, it was said that during the early primordial era, the myriad races rose to power. They kicked the powerful ancient beasts out of the Myriad Realms before forging the Hell Gate to block the ancient beasts from returning. There are countless dangers beyond the gate. Both the ancient beasts and myriad races will find it extremely hard to survive out there."

Surprisingly, Martial Emperor was not completely clueless about the gate. Su Yu took note of that. There were two theories, but both were consistent in how dangerous the gate was.

It was said that Control King had suffered numerous injuries while guarding the gate. Perhaps Control King had fought the ancient beasts beyond the gate during that time. Was the world beyond the gate a world of ancient beasts? Or was that a world of pure chaos?

Su Yu had no other questions. It was pointless to ask more.

However, Martial Emperor was not done. He asked, "It's my turn. How much of the pen dao have you grasped?"

"..."

Su Yu laughed and said, "That's private."

Martial Emperor coldly said, "You asked for this. You agreed to answer everything truthfully."

Su Yu laughed and said, "I suppose you're right. So be it. This is no big secret. About eighty percent, I guess."

After doing a short calculation, Martial Emperor asked, "And how much longer would you need to master this dao?"

Su Yu beamed and said, "I don't need to answer this question since I did not ask you any additional questions."

Martial Emperor frowned. He said, "Answer it and I can tell you a secret."

"Secret?" Su Yu chuckled, "No thanks."

Martial Emperor glared at Su Yu furiously. He had answered the question this bastard asked. Now that it was his turn to ask, this bastard was claiming disinterest?

He gnashed his teeth and said, "Don't be in such a hurry to reject me. I know of a place hiding a divine weapon."

"Oh." Su Yu nodded indifferently, "Incredible. Congratulations, Martial Emperor. You can retrieve that divine weapon for your own use after regaining your freedom."

"..."

Damn t! Martial Emperor cursed inwardly. Was a divine weapon not attractive at all for this fellow? What an arrogant bastard!

Su Yu found the furious Martial Emperor amusing, but he resisted the urge to laugh and said, "How about this? Promise me a favor and I'll answer you."

"Impossible!"

Martial Emperor snorted. Was this guy still trying to make him a weapon?

Dream on!

Su Yu remained calm. He spoke slowly, "It won't be a big favor. It's trivial, really. I wish to take Heavenbridge Marquis out of this place. But his departure will cut the eighth level from the seventh level. It will be annoying for me to come here again in the future unless you want me to keep moving inside your body each time I visit."

Martial Emperor glared coldly at Su Yu.

Su Yu continued, "I have an idea. I wish to create a special passage through your body where I can fill with Heavenbridge Marquis' power. With that, I can reach the eighth level directly with Heavenbridge Marquis instead of moving from the first to the seventh levels."

"Impossible!"

Martial Emperor roared furiously, "How dare you think of building a tunnel inside my body?"

Su Yu's voice turned cold as he said, "This is merely a small matter. Do you really want to make me climb all the levels each time? Do you enjoy bickering with me each time? As long as you allow Heavenbridge to spread his power through your body, I can reach the eighth level from the outside. That way, I can stop moving through your body in the future. Do you want to open a way for us or do you want me to use your body each time? Make your choice."

Martial Emperor was furious. He wanted to reject both options. But Su Yu was right. If he rejected the offer, Su Yu would move through his body every time.

After a long while, he gnashed his teeth and agreed, "Fine. I can allow the existence of a single tunnel. In the future, you're not allowed to enter through my acupoints."

Su Yu smiled, "That is only natural. Why would I choose the longer way when there is a shorter and easier passage? This will only benefit both of us."

Su Yu was in a decent mood. With this, he might be able to make use of Heavenbridge Marquis' power and form a direct connection between the Death Realm, Lower Realm, and Upper Realm. Then again, Heavenbridge Marquis was still a tad bit weak.

Su Yu looked at Heavenbridge Marquis and asked, "Without the restriction of the first seven levels, can you make a direct connection to the eighth level from the outside?"

Heavenbridge Marquis nodded, "Yes. That's possible."

"What about the Death Realm?"

Heavenbridge Marquis grimaced and said, "That will be slightly difficult. But Martial Emperor's body is connected to the Death Realm as well. It is possible if I can use his body as the intermediary."

Su Yu exhaled and asked, "What about the Upper Realm?"

"No." Heavenbridge Marquis shook his head without any hesitation, "Martial Emperor's body does not reach the Upper Realm. We can try to raise his legs higher and reach for the Upper Realm, but the difficulty is too great."

Not noticing Martial Emperor's frosty expression, Heavenbridge Marquis prattled on, "Martial Emperor's legs were broken and snapped downward. We can think of a way to straighten his legs again and punch through the barrier of the Upper Realm. If we do that, we might be able to connect all three realms. That is the only way."

Just then, Martial Emperor's cold voice rang out, "Are you tired of living?"

"..."

Heavenbridge Marquis shrugged. He was merely answering a question. What was this? Why was the truth so hard to accept? Fine, fine. He decided to shut his mouth.

Su Yu nodded, "I see. Well, with you in our ranks, we will have access to more strategies. This will be a good thing for us. Work hard, Heavenbridge. Grow stronger. You're a gate spirit. With enough strength, you can penetrate everything. No barrier and no defense can block your advance. Everything will be rendered a joke before you."

As a gate spirit, he had incredible potential.

Su Yu could already think of numerous new strategies he could employ. He said, "If you manage to reach the level of a Master of Law, you might be able to intercept even the River of Time with your gate."

Heavenbridge Marquis wanted question Su Yu. How was he so sure? He wasnt even a gate. But Heavenbridge Marquis decided to not be his argumentative self. He remembered that Su Yu wasn't someone to be provoked lightly either. What if he annoyed Su Yu enough to smash him apart? Thus, he made the right choice and shut his mouth.

Su Yu looked at Martial Emperor and said, "About your question. I don't know how long I'll take to master the pen dao. If everything goes smoothly, I can probably do that by the time the connection between the Upper Realm and the Lower Realm is restored. But I can't say for sure what will happen if things don't go smoothly. In short, I will reach that level around the same time you regain your freedom."

Su Yu grinned and added, "At the time, we can perhaps have a fun spar with each other. Who knows? You might be stronger than the pen dao."

Martial Emperor inhaled deeply and cursed inwardly.

No way!

But he couldn't help but believe that somewhat. He was unwilling to accept that. He couldn't accept that. He had become a Master of Law after countless years of cultivation. How could Su Yu reach the same level in such a short time?

He sneered and said, "I hope so as well. That will make things a lot more interesting. Also, the daos of the Myriad Realms are currently problematic. Didn't you say that advancement into the Master of Law is no longer possible?"

"I naturally have my way around that little limitation."

Su Yu appeared unconcerned. Suddenly, he stood up and removed the table and chairs, including the chair Martial Emperor was sitting on. Once again, Martial Emperor's expression darkened.

This bastard was way too fickle.

Martial Emperor believed that not even he was this fickle.

"Come on, Martial Emperor. Open a way. Heavenbridge, go up there and take the others down. Spend less time here. Don't you notice the weird smell here?"

Martial Emperor's expression darkened further as he asked, "Do not provoke me repeatedly!"

What was this place?

His arse.

Clearly, Su Yu was insulting him in a roundabout manner.

Su Yu looked back and grinned, "Not at all. Don't misunderstand me. I'm merely speaking the truth. Well, I guess that does sound provocative..."

Martial Emperor shot him a frosty glare.

Su Yu said nonchalantly, "I'm wondering if I should find a way to kill you, but I'm also worried that you might decide to be friends. In that scenario, I won't have an excuse to kill you. But without your death, I might not be able to complete my very own myriad daos. Thus, I believe it's better for us to remain enemies. Please don't think of becoming my friend."

Martial Emperor was so furious that he felt like coughing blood.

He roared, madness slowly seeping into his eyes, "Dream on! Su Yu, you will be the first person I kill after I get out of here!"

Su Yu laughed, "I'm glad to hear that. As of late, I have been worried that humans like you will all try to befriend me. How am I supposed to complete my dao in such a situation? Please stay an enemy. I won't feel bad killing an enemy. Sigh. What can I do if I have such a soft heart?"

Martial Emperor was furious. Su Yu was insulting him!

But Su Yu was actually being earnest. He was really worried about his human-related daos. How was he supposed to complete that? He himself did not walk a regular human dao. He could only hope that neither Hundred Battle King nor Martial Emperor would befriend him. He was being serious. He was also being serious when he said that he was softhearted. If the two shamelessly decided to become his little brothers, he would feel bad killing them.

Was he supposed to kill Lan Tian, Old Wan, and the others to complete his human dao? That wouldn't be proper. He was also praying that Control King's lineage would not turn around to befriend him as well.

With numerous thoughts in his mind, Su Yu waved his hand before vanishing into thin air. Martial Emperor was left standing alone with an ashen expression. That bastard was too arrogant. He was underestimating a Master of Law.

"We shall see!"

Martial Emperor snorted coldly. Would he fear a kid like that?
