Chapter 2004: First Self Detonation (3)

After transforming into a humanoid form clad in golden robes, the golden crow looked around cautiously and said, "There are unwritten rules here. Nobody should force their way into a sealed location. My place of cultivation is protected by formations. Why did you break my formations and force me out of my seclusion?"

He sounded furious. However, he did not show any hostility. After all, he was surrounded by too many experts.

Venerable Moon smiled and said, "I guess we need to produce some willpower fragments to explain everything to the newly awakened friends. This will simplify things a lot."

He appeared a lot more polite toward this expert compared to the ape expert they found earlier. A beam of willpower was sent over. Shortly after, understanding dawned on the golden crow.

After a slight hesitation, he soared into the sky and reestablished his connection to his dao. He asked doubtfully, "Fellow Daoist, why did you break through my place of cultivation?"

Venerable Scrape gave the bird a short explanation of what was happening. Understanding dawned on the bird. So that was why.

Bonewing Marquis was attacking him! What madness was this? March, who was about to approach them, stopped doubtfully. What was going on? Well, it didn't matter. He only needed to enjoy the show.

Meanwhile, Bonewing Marquis had lost his mind. He charged forth and attacked with all his strength while roaring with boundless fury and madness.

Venerable Scrape demanded, "What are you doing? Did you lose your mind during our seclusion?"

Venerable Scrape suspected that Bonewing Marquis had suffered from cultivation deviation due to his long seclusion. The intensely struggling Bonewing Marquis was quite difficult to suppress, especially since he was trying to capture the marquis alive.

"March!"

The powerful explosion sent even Venerable Scrape flying far away while coughing blood with a confused look in his eyes.

Not even their seas of willpower had survived.

Two additional fireworks bloomed in the sky.

Two Daofuses had died just like that, and a heavenly king had been heavily injured.

Venerable Scrape was furious.

When he glared at March, March said blankly, "I didn't expect him to detonate himself..."

Why was this guy looking at him?

How was he supposed to know that would happen? Did this guy know that in advance? No, right? Venerable Scrape was so infuriated he nearly coughed more blood from sheer anger. Yes. Not even he had expected that.

Weren't they in the middle of a friendly discussion?

Why did that bird detonate himself so suddenly?

The others were alarmed as well. Venerable Moon asked, "What happened?"

"Why did Bonewing Marquis self-detonate?

A heavenly king and two Daofuses had died. Why did that marquis self-detonate out of nowhere?

Venerable Scrape concluded while gritting his teeth in anger. He did not suspect anything. He was merely blaming his bad luck for that. He was simply the unlucky guy to encounter someone in the middle of cultivation deviation.

He became even more certain that the fake daos were greatly problematic. Regular cultivators wouldn't suffer from cultivation deviation so easily at the level of a heavenly king.

Meanwhile, Su Yu had a regretful expression.

That explosion had only injured a heavenly king and killed two Daofuses. How regretful. Why didn't that detonation kill the heavenly king as well?

Beside him, the eyes of the skeletal figure flickered. It was this guy!

He stared at Su Yu, certain that Su Yu was the culprit. How was it done?
