Chapter 2011: Favor For Repayment (1)

Su Yu started laughing.

Was that risky? Yes. It was very risky. This was his very first time showing his actual body in front of two Venerables. It was a great challenge. It had been a very long time since he last took a risk like this. He hadn't done something similar since he grew enough to gather a large number of experts under him.

Even his previous attack against the Sealed Mountain had only been done after numerous preparations. If the two Venerables had decided to turn on him and call the other Venerables over, it would be very difficult for him to flee.

Shortly after, Lan Tian arrived.

Even Lan Tian was still nervous from the meeting. He exhaled and said, "That was too risky."

Su Yu grinned and said, "But the return is massive as well, right?"

As for sending all these compromised experts to their deaths, the myriad races would not do something like that. It would be a major loss, and it would also cause resentment among their own people. Furthermore, many of the experts from the three major races were fake dao cultivators as well. These experts had friends, families, and loved ones among the three major races.

Su Yu smiled and said, "There is another possibility."

When Lan Tian looked at him, he said, "They can cooperate with those from the Chaos Mountain and wipe us out. We are the bigger threat. Even if they don't know who among us are the ones capable of controlling the fake daos, they know that even Bing Ku and the others from back then couldn't do so. It is obvious that this isn't an ability available to many people. I am one of them. We can use Great Zhou King as a decoy and make him one as well.

"There is no doubt that the myriad races are waiting to see us dead as well. Without us, the fake daos will turn into real daos again."

The so-called cooperation was the same as befriending a wild tiger. One had to be very careful. Openly, they would appear friendly to each other after an agreement was reached. But nobody knew what the other party would do in the shadows.

It was clear that each of the three parties had its own plans and goals. Nobody would view a different party as true allies. That would be the same as courting death.

Lan Tian asked, "What if Control King's lineage pretends to be weak?"

Su Yu said, "Now? We return to the iron devourers. Have you forgotten that we are now iron devourer Daofuses? The migration is happening soon. Our absence will be rather suspicious."

Lan Tian laughed.

"What are we supposed to do with the humans the myriad races discover during the sweep?

Su Yu nodded and asked, "How is Wen Qi doing?"

"I gave him several beatings."

Since Wen Qi was being suppressed, Silk Destroying King was capable of giving him a beating even without being a Daofuse.

He added, "I don't know if he's acting this way because he's wary of your survelliance. Even when I offered him to join Control King's lineage, he ignored me. I'm not sure if he's a traitor, but he doesn't seem like one."

Su Yu nodded, "In that case, we can toss him to Hundred Battle. At the moment, Hundred Battle has entered deep inside the Chaos Mountain with Yue Luo. That's a very dangerous place. He might be in need of an advisor...But well, I guess we'll wait for an opportunity before doing anything."

Wen Qi might be an inept advisor, but he wasn't completely useless. However, he wasn't valuable enough that Su Yu was willing to spare the effort to subdue him. Thus, the easiest method to make use of him was to send him to Hundred Battle King.

But we still don't know what Thunderstorm and Heavenly Fate are thinking. That's especially true for Thunderstorm. Is Hundred Battle really related to Thunderstorm's race through marriage? Why are we unaware of this?"

The mention of that matter annoyed Venerable Scrape. He said, "I believe very few people know about this. Thunderstorm was not involved in the final battle against Hundred Battle back then. It was unlikely that all six of them had fulfilled some specific requirements for the Torchbearers to manipulate. Perhaps controlling these fake daos couldn't be done so easily, but they could definitely suppress the fake daos without worrying about any special requirements.

The six pseudo kings had been suppressed and killed easily. Venerable Devil was present during that incident, and the other Venerables had sensed some of what was happening from afar as well.

They continued the sweep. Having learned the lesson from Six-Winged's madness, they were a lot more cautious during the search.
