The numerous chains had kept Martial Emperor suppressed all these years.

He had broken some over the years. Now that he was fully awake and the suppression of the Myriad Realms was gone, he took the chance to break many more of these chains.

Martial Emperor's roar rang out.

The river continued shaking intensely.

A stretch of the river had been sealed by Human Emperor, preventing anyone from breaking through into a Master of Law. However, a breakthrough was not necessary for Martial Emperor as he was already a Master of Law.

He had chosen the correct era to break through. An era where Human Emperor's influence was the weakest.

Consort Emeritus' eyes flickered as she muttered, "This era...seems to have weakened."

To the side, Venerable Corona blinked. Jiwu hurriedly asked, "What...does that mean, Imperial Consort?"

A furious roar rang out, and the soundwaves rippled out to shake the entire Sea of Stars. Towering waves rose into the sky and endless source qi converged around him before entering his body.

Su Yu looked at Martial Emperor with pity.

Su Yu followed Martial Emperor with his Heaven Gate open. Martial Emperor was madly punching his dao, demolishing the various chains wrapped around the tributary.

The impact could be felt everywhere. Su Yu could feel that deep in the Death Realm, Death Imperator was also breaking free thanks to the disturbance spreading from the River of Time to the Celestial River of Death.

That was not all. Consort Emeritus' eyes flickered as she slapped space apart before entering the river. Inside, she made use of the disturbance to snap her existing dao before reconnecting to her former dao.

She was taking this opportunity to return to a Master of Law. All three superpowerhouses had chosen the same moment to make their move. One could say that this was their sole chance at doing what they wanted.

Martial Emperor blanked out slightly, but he did not have the time to stay surprised. He hurriedly rushed through the barrier. At the end of the tributary, he started devouring a large amount of water from the river. His aura skyrocketed. He had absorbed so much water that a stretch of the river was completely drained.

Not far away, Consort Emeritus was failing at reconnecting to her former dao. But with Martial Emperor draining a stretch of the river, the resistance weakened, allowing her to push forward. She roared as her white hair whipped about. And then--BAM!

An overwhelming aura erupted from her tributary.

Martial Emperor was too busy consuming the water of the river to care. He didn't even spare the nearby tributary a glance. Instead, he focused fully on strengthening himself. However, he did steal a glance at Su Yu. Recalling what happened earlier, he gnashed his teeth with fury. Damn it. Even Human Emperor was involved in the sealing of his dao. He had never noticed the final layer of seal before.

He nearly failed.
