Chapter 2236: Used To Getting Screwed Over (1)

Su Yu was clashing against Hundred Battle King. But instead of fighting head-on, he was avoiding direct clashes to buy time. Why was he buying time? Because he needed a bit of time to perfect his plan. Things would change, and plans would also need to change and adapt to reality.

That was not all. Hundred Battle King was even colluding with the sinned lineage. No, it wasn't even that. Hundred Battle King did not care about the deaths on their side. The deaths were worth it so long as the matron dragon and Yu Qing could emerge from the gate. As for those serving under Hundred Battle King, they were mere tools.

Extreme Martial's expression changed.

To make things worse, Yu Qing and the others started flying over after the projection appeared. A battle had erupted between Hundred Battle King and Su Yu. Hundred Battle King had acted. This served as a confirmation to Extreme Martial that the projection had depicted the truth.

Hundred Battle King was truly colluding with Yu Qing's side. He still had many unanswered questions. Why did Hundred Battle King not join hands with Control King's lineage to conquer the Myriad Realms back then? What was Hundred Battle King's actual plan?

All those questions were still unanswered. But Extreme Martial knew that at this point, they had turned into abandoned tools.

He sighed, "So Hundred Battle only sent us here to get us killed and fuel the appearance of one or two more Masters of Laws from the gate. Is that the case? Does our loyalty of many years mean nothing? Is our loyalty so worthless?"

Redmoon ordered coldly, "Kill them and withdraw."

Why was Extreme Martial still wasting his time sighing to himself? They needed to kill Yue Luo and Yue Xiao before withdrawing. Time was of the essence.

Extreme Martial sighed again, "Withdrawing? Where can we even go?"

"We...we can go to Human Lord Su!" Redmoon said, "We made the wrong choice six thousand years ago! Are we supposed to keep making the wrong choice?"

Hundred Battle King himself had admitted to being a traitor. Was he feeling overconfident because the connection between the two realms was sealed? Was that why he was speaking so openly?
