Suddenly, Human Emperor asked, "Have you connected with someone inside the Heaven Gate?"

"Yes. A guy called Return. Do you know him?"

"Return?" Human Emperor thought about it and shook his head, "No. That's probably a nobody. I don't know nobodies."

"..."

Well, what could Su Yu say about that? No matter what, Return was a tier-one. But Human Emperor was calling that a nobody. How arrogant. But upon further thought, Su Yu couldn't help but agree. Perhaps that was a brand new tier-one.

Prior to this, that was a tier-two. And for someone like Human Emperor, some ancient tier-twos were indeed unworthy of his attention.

Human Emperor warned, "Do not be careless about this. After keeping their power out for long enough, they might be able to exit with their main body. Of course, there is nothing to worry about if it's only a weakling."

He added, "If you really wish to fish, don't do it rashly. Do it properly and only fish for something worthy. It's not worth fishing some weaklings out.

"The moment you kill the one connected to you, it will be very hard for you to connect with a new person. If I were you, I would find a way to enter through this person and gather more information about the situation inside. Of course, only do this if the person you're connected to is weak."

Su Yu's eyes flickered.

Suddenly, he asked, "Have you entered the Heaven Gate before, Your Majesty?"

Human Emperor first shook his head before nodding, "I sent my willpower over once, but I didn't go far. A powerhouse inside discovered me and chased me away. That fellow was lucky he was inside the gate. Otherwise, I would have beaten him to death for daring to chase me away."

He had indeed attempted to investigate the situation inside before. Someone like him would certainly not give up on the chance to learn more about his potential enemies. Since he wished to stop the three gates, he naturally needed to know more about them. That was especially so for the Heaven Gate.

Those inside the Heaven Gate wished to plant their own agents in the Myriad Realms and learn more. Similarly, Human Emperor wished to do the same to them. Strictly speaking, one could argue that Culture King and Martial King were Human Emperor's agents inside.

Su Yu laughed and said, "I see. Why are January of the iron devourers and hou race's previous Pseudo Emperor missing? Did you send them out on special assignments?"

Those were indeed nowhere to be seen. They weren't among the myriad races either.

"Those guys?" Human Emperor said, "They never followed us here. Don't you know that?"

Su Yu blinked. How was he supposed to know that?

"I sent them all inside the Earth Gate. I don't know if they're still alive..." Human Emperor shook his head and sighed.

Su Yu blinked again. After a long while, he said, "You were already in such a crisis back then. Why did you send them inside the Earth Gate?"

Was he truly so fearless?

Human Emperor explained, "Things weren't so critical in the beginning. At the time, my main goal was to suppress the three gates. I couldn't find the Human Gate, but Wen Number Two was handling the Heaven Gate while the Earth Gate was right inside our turf. The natural thing to do was to send some people inside the Earth Gate.

"It wouldn't be appropriate for humans to enter, but some races originated from the chaos beasts. They could easily disguise themselves as chaos beasts so long as they refrained from using their daos."

Su Yu didn't know what to say. So January and the others had never left with Human Emperor. Rather, they had entered the Earth Gate.

Were they dead? At the very least, Su Yu knew that January wasn't dead. In that case, one could say that Human Emperor had sent his people inside two of the three gates. This was similar to Su Yu's idea. At one point, he thought of sending some people inside the Earth Gate as well. However, he had to shelve the idea since he was in great need of manpower at the time.

The more he thought about it, the more impressive Human Emperor was. He had only erred in overestimating his ability to fully suppress the myriad races. So January and the others had entered the Earth Gate. No wonder they were missing. Su Yu had originally thought that they were sent spying on the myriad races.

Seeing that Su Yu was in thought, Human Emperor asked, "Do you have any other questions? I might have forgotten about some of the contingencies I left behind. You need to ask me for me to recall them."

Su Yu was a newcomer. He might know a lot, but his knowledge was far too lacking compared to someone like Human Emperor.

And he naturally had more questions. He said, "Can your dao form its own ecosystem?"

"I'm talking about your world, not dao."

Su Yu corrected himself as he was worried that Human Emperor would misunderstand his question.

Human Emperor naturally understood the question. He explained, "It's rather incomplete, but it's probably good enough to form its own ecosystem. However, I had a different plan from you back then. I wanted to rapidly perfect my dao through the River of Time.

"At the time, I lacked a treasure to serve as the foundation, so I pioneered my dao on top of the river. That allowed my dao to grow rapidly. But there are many disadvantages to that path.

"Firstly, it won't be easy for me to move my dao after that. Secondly, my dao will suffer the interference of the river. Thirdly, I can't close the loop and form an independent world."

Su Yu rolled his eyes, "So the answer is no."

Human Emperor gave a lot of excuses, but the ultimate answer was no. His world was incomplete. Su Yu's world, on the other hand, was capable of existing independently.

Human Emperor coughed awkwardly. Why was this guy being so straightforward?

Why are all of you looking like you're mourning someone?"

They had all been staring as Human Emperor conversed with Su Yu. He still wished to promote a closer relationship between the two sides. After all, they would need to fight together after this.

Everyone relaxed somewhat after hearing those words. That was especially true for Snow King and a few others. They had been waiting for this. However, it wouldn't be appropriate for them to start mingling before receiving the permission of their leaders.

Before long, Snow King stepped forth and rushed straight toward her daughter. Snow Orchid looked at her mother with a complicated gaze. Not much time had passed for Snow King and the others.

But for those left in the Myriad Realms, a hundred thousand years had passed. It had been far too long.

Su Yu looked at the reunion and smiled.

There were quite a lot of ancient powerhouses under him, such as Brave Martial, Southbrook, South Suppression, Extreme Martial, and the others. Some of the kings they served back then were still around, and some of their kings had died long ago.

Human Emperor was introducing those on his side to Su Yu, "On my side, Radiant King, Martial Suppression King, and Radiant Consort are all tier-ones. Battle King isn't far from this level either."

Su Yu nodded. That wasn't a big number.

Among the myriad races, Immortal Pseudo Emperor, Devil Pseudo Emperor, Divine Pseudo Emperor, Dragon Pseudo Emperor, Phoenix Pseudo Emperor, Nether Pseudo Emperor, and even Spirit Pseudo Emperor were all tier-ones. A few felt like fresh tier-ones, but there were still seven of them.

Seeing that Su Yu was in thought, Human Emperor added, "We had some near that level as well, but they died in battle..."

Su Yu nodded.

Human Emperor said, "As for the matter between Martial King and Martial Emperor, have them settle it among themselves. Maybe Martial Emperor will die before entering the Heaven Gate. Maybe both will die before they even have the chance to meet.

"As for Martial Suppression King, she's a straightforward person. She's not the type to bow to force, but don't be too bothered about her. Deep inside, she's quite soft-hearted. Otherwise, she would have beaten Tai Shan to death long ago for collecting so many dao companions. Tai Shan has never been too smart, but he has always been good at keeping his dao companions happy."
