The Asura Princess returned bearing good news to the Asura Queen and the Crown Prince.
These three were the last remaining members of the Asura Royals as the previous generation had disappeared with the Asura King to some unknown place.
If it wasn’t for that fact, the Asura King would’ve immediately realized that something was wrong with the current situation.
The Asura Princess stated that everything went according to their plans and that Lith had agreed to remove their curse.
The Asura Queen would’ve found this suspicious had it not been for the Princess saying,
"But... I had to offer him our heads..."
The Crown Prince broke a table and cursed.
The Asura Queen had a melancholic expression but remained silent.
She knew the price they’d pay was heavy, and only with such a price would she think that there were no traps.
After a while, the Asura Queen asked, "How’s the strength of that descendant?"
The Asura Princess shook her head and said, "Not even a Supreme."
The Asura Queen’s face was solemn. "To think that he’s not even a Supreme and wants our heads. Very well... we’ll do as he wishes. Let him know that only those with Asura blood can enter the palace."
The Asura Princess didn’t say more and left to fetch Lith.
.....
The Asura Princess came back to relay the Queen’s message to Lith.
"Master, it’s a trap." Fei warned.
Sylvia nodded her head in agreement. To go there would mean dying.
"I know." Lith was aware of it. He turned to the Asura Princess and said, "I want everyone’s cultivation sealed for removing the curse and for my own safety. If they are not willing to do it, then I won’t be coming."
The Asura Princess nodded, bowed, and left.
She came back after a while bearing good news.
Lith left with her for the Asura Royal Palace immediately.
Passing through the world of Octavia, he reached Asura’s main world and made his way inside the royal palace.
The royal palace had not a single Asura, just lonely pieces of furniture.
Passing through a long hallway laid with a soft carpet, Lith reached an underground hall where two people sat around a table and stared at him vigilantly.
Both looked quite similar to the Asura Princess and Lith didn’t need to guess that they were the Crown Prince and the Asura Queen.
After years of inbreeding, everybody almost looked similar.
Lith’s gaze was calm as he met the two.
The royalty did not stand up to greet him and neither did Lith formally greet them.
At this point, the two were powerful enough to attack and kill Lith, but such a situation was already well thought out and he asked them to sign a contract in advance.
The contract was between the two and Sylvia.
When Sylvia confirmed that the other party had signed it, he boldly entered the enemy territory.
Walking away from the two and towards an empty space, Lith took out a piece of chalk and began silently inscribing a magic circle on the ground.
None of the Asuras spoke a thing, but they frowned and thought, ’So that’s him...’
At a single glance, the Crown Prince and the Asura Queen could make out the features of their uncle Kalyndor on Lith.
They were so clearly visible that they were shocked.
To have such clear features would mean he was Kalyndor’s direct descendant.
However, such wasn’t the case. He did not look even a thousand years old which meant he was someone of the later generations.
What made the Asura Queen frown harder was the fact that there were more of her uncle’s descendants.
’Uncle’s and that bitch from Evure God Clan’s child survived...’
Every royal hated the Evure God Clan, no matter how much they tried to hide it.
If it wasn’t for the slutty wives of the founding father cheating on him, that clan would never have existed.
Their very existence was the source of the Asuras’ trouble. For ages, the enemy spared no effort in clashing with them, and add to that, the founding father put the whole curse thing due to them.
How could the Asuras not hate them?
Lith’s face looked a perfect blend of that Evure God Clan’s woman and her uncle Kalyndor. The Asura Queen’s blood boiled with just a single glance.
Her daughter did not state his features and part of the reason could probably be that they were in a rush.
’In the end... it is still the Evure God Clan that caused our demise...’
The Asura Queen sighed dejectedly.
Lith did not say a single word so far. They were useless because he did not come here to reason with the other party.
The other party didn’t want to reason either.
How did Lith know of it?
His [Destiny Seer] ability was running in full gear.
He could see a strand of red coming out of the Asura Queen and the Crown Prince, coiling like a snake trapping its prey around his body.
So far, there never was much need to use this ability, but after going through the mysterious dimension’s hardships, he knew how strong these simple abilities were.
One wrong step and he would die in the hands of the Asura Queen.
He couldn’t feel a connection with his mother for now either. She seems to have gone to an unknown place.
If worst comes to worst, Lith could escape, but whether he would be able to shake off the Asura Queen’s trail was another matter.
Nevertheless, he wasn’t worried or afraid.
He didn’t come here to escape anyway.
’Mama ain’t raised no bitch.’ Lith thought and stood before the Asura Queen.
She scrutinized him while he maintained an indifferent expression.
"Take off your clothes and meditate."
The Asura Queen frowned.
The Crown Prince frowned.
The Asura Princess pretended to frown.
Lith did not leave room for misunderstandings and turned to the Crown Prince, stating, "You do the same and sit to her left. And you... to the right."
He instructed the Asura Princess as well.
’The audacity of this fucking mixed blood...’ The Crown Prince was boiling with rage and did not bother hiding his killing intent.
Asuras were true to their emotion and did not scheme as much. Whatever they felt, they showed it on their faces.
The reason for Lith’s calmness stemmed from the three’s sealed cultivations. Even with a full set of sharp teeth, if a dog was leashed and unable to charge, it was no different from a barking dog who seldom bit.
The Asura Queen kept staring at Lith but watching him show no reaction, she could only turn to the Crown Prince and Asura Princess, stating, "Do as he says."
The Crown Prince gritted his teeth. This was the most he could do as going against Lith won’t do anyone any good in the present situation.
The Asura Queen stood up and took off her robes in front of Lith, showing her peerless curves and alluring body, worthy of a Queen.
The Crown Prince’s killing intent further intensified, anger seeping to his head and almost making him faint.
Who in their right minds could stay calm when watching their mother strip like that in front of an enemy?
Who were the Asuras?
They were a warmongering, cruel, bloodthirsty race.
If they went to war, victory was most certainly guaranteed, such was their magnificence.
A lone Asura descended in this star system called Shen Ze and founded the Asura God Clan by taking in outsiders. His descendants with a strong bloodline became the royals who kept inbreeding to maintain the status quo while the rest became nobles through their bloodline strength.
One single man’s bloodline led to the formation of Shen Ze’s topmost powerhouse for a particular millennia.
If the Evure God Clan hadn’t found a way to create so many Legendary Ranks while having each of them be an all elemental affinity cultivator, the Asuras would definitely not be overtaken.
Despite such an advantage, the two clans still stood on par, keeping each other in check.
Now, one of the two powerhouses was reduced to a state of ruin, all due to one small mistake in their foundation.
The Asura Queen was thinking of these matters while meditating. She did not bother putting sense into her son and kept her eyes closed, feeling Lith’s hand on her back.
He was fluidly moving his hands behind her back, trying to cast a magic circle.
He did not look like he was interested in anything but business. He would most probably leave when the curse was lifted, thought the Asura Queen.
’It’s clearly disadvantageous to remove our curse. Why would he bother doing it? What’s he scheming?’
No matter what she thought, she couldn’t guess anything.
Lith was a complete stranger and a person who seemed to have popped out of nowhere.
’His strength is mediocre at best. No matter what, he probably doesn’t have many trump cards either. Judging from how he fearlessly entered this place, he is either a complete fool with a suicide mission or someone confident in running away when danger strikes. If it’s the former, there’s no problem. But if it’s the latter...’
The Asura Queen knitted her brows and began thinking of ways to trap Lith in this palace.
