Chapter 1441: Hesitant Lu Feng

“So here is the first question,” An Tian said.

The other waited to hear.

“Your first love- Name the person,” An Tian asked.

This question was easy for some while difficult for others.

Jiang Yang: “Crystal, my classmate in the USA.”

Lu Lijun: “Yuyan.”

Yuyan: “Lu Qiang.”

There were the three who were silent suddenly.

“Don’t make me wait for such a simple question,” An Tian commented.

Lu Feng who was shocked by this question got hold of himself and immediately picked up the drink to dodge answering it and ready to get the punishment instead.

Jiang Yuyan didn’t know how to react to this as she knew the answer and could only curse An Tian in her mind.

Even before Lu Feng could drink, Lu Lijun held his hand.

Lu Feng looked at his brother only to hear him, “I know the answer already. You can say it.”

It shocked Lu Feng, “Lu Lijun that…”

“I don’t want you to stay away from my sister-in-law just because of this silly game,” Lu Lijun said, “And it doesn’t matter now. It was in the past.”

Lu Feng looked at Jiang Yuyan who nodded to show she agreed with what Lu Lijun said.

Lu Feng put the glass down and said, “Yuyan.”

It shocked Noah and Jake as they could not believe it while An Tian and Jiang Yang were already aware of it. Noah and Jake had so many questions in mind but it was their turn to answer.

An Tian looked at Jake, “My dear brother, do you need an invitation.”

Jake answered, “Noah.”

Noah looked at him in disbelief as he thought it was Evelyne who everyone knew was his girlfriend during senior high school but no one knew why they broke up and why Evelyne left suddenly. The last time they saw her was when these three friends went on a celebration trip of completing their graduation.

Jake looked back at Noah, “It’s true.”

“Noah, it’s your turn,” An Tian said, “But, let me clear one more rule that I forgot to tell before. If someone lies, then the punishment will be there and worse than what I said before. About where someone is lying or not, will be decided by others voting on it. I am sure my vote is the most trusted one here.”

Everyone knew An Tian was the kind who could enter their brain and dig out the truth. They liked him for it but hated at the same time when it came to An Tian digging their brains.

Noah looked at the shots kept in front of him and then thought about the punishment. He was sure the punishment wouldn’t be as simple as what An Tian had mentioned.

Noah cleared his throat and answered, “Jake.”

Jake looked at Noah in shock to which Noah commented, “It was in the past. Now it doesn’t matter.”

Jake said nothing as knowing this much was enough for him.

In front of everyone now it was like they had openly admitted the feelings they had for each other and from now on these two didn’t have to mind others.

No one found it odd as they were already aware of what was going on between the two and instead wished the two to be together.

It was An Tian’s turn and he spoke, “The one from senior high school before I left China. There is nothing interesting to know about as I even forgot how she looks.”

“After that?” Jiang Yang asked.

“This question was about the first love, my dear friend,” An Tian said as he dodged the question.

“Now the second question,” An Tian said while others held their breaths.

“First kiss- name the person.”

Once again it dropped the bomb on a few. Lu Feng didn’t wait for even a moment and picked up the glass of shot but once again Lu Lijun stopped him even before the glass could touch his lips.

“Lu Lijun, I can’t answer this,” Lu Feng spoke, as if he was requesting him to not make him answer it.

“This time I don’t know the answer but I guess it was not my sister-in-law as you are unwilling to answer. But it must be in the past and you don’t need to get punished for some past that might not be important now.”

“I still can’t,” Lu Feng said as his gaze brushed past Jiang Yuyan who looked a little awkward this time.

Lu Feng didn’t know how Lu Lijun would feel if he took Jiang Yuyan’s name and there was no chance that he could lie as Jiang Yang and An Tian would know. Better to get punished directly.

“Lu Feng, it’s fine,” Jiang Yuyan finally said.

What happened at that time was not out of any desires or lust but was farewell and she never thought Lu Feng had done something wrong. About Lu Lijun, she was sure he would understand it. She trusted Lu Lijun at least this much.

Lu Feng looked at Jiang Yuyan and she gave him an assuring nod.

Lu Feng put the glass back on the table and inhaled deeply before he answered.

“Yuyan.”

He didn’t dare look at Lu Lijun and the atmosphere turned silent suddenly. Everyone waited for Lu Lijun’s reaction, who looked unaffected by it. Jiang Yuyan didn’t know what Lu Lijun would say. An Tian, Jiang Yang, Nooh and Jake also waited for his reaction.

Sensing the unusually silent atmosphere, Lu Feng finally decided to speak, “Lu Lijun, it was just….”

Lu Lijun looked back at his brother, “I am sure it had no bad intentions behind it.”

Lu Feng nodded.

“Then you don’t have to explain it to me,” Lu Lijun assured and looked at others, “My first kiss was Yuyan,” and he looked at Yuyan who was silent as well. He placed his hand over her trembling one, “Your answer.”

“Lu Qiang,” she replied.

Jiang Yang: Mine was just a random classmate before I met Crystal.

An Tian looked at the two who always were the last ones to answer.
