Chapter 1443: Honest Confessions

This chapter is updated by NovelFree.ml

“Brother Yang, If you want, I can let you witness every kiss of her afterwords so you won’t regret missing her first,” Lu Lijun said only to embarrass Jiang Yuyan once again.

“You shall ask my sister first,” Jiang Yang commented to the shameless man.

Lu Lijun looked at her. “Shall we? Your brother might want to see it right away.”

“Lijun…” she exclaimed.

“You know when you call me just by my first name,” he commented, which made her utterly embarrassed. She wasn’t thinking about anything right? What is wrong in calling him by his first name?

“You…can you not embarrass me in front of others?” she said in a weak voice.

He smiled, “Fine.”

“If two are done, can we continue?” An Tian asked and the two nodded.

He then looked at Jake and Noah. “You guys? Let’s start with the one sitting next to our sweet Yuyan. Jake!”

Lu Lijun looked at An Tian, “It would be better if some words were omitted while talking.”

“Is it wrong to call her a sweet little girl? Though she is the president, You haven’t seen her childish side. Only Lu Feng and I know.”

“What…What are you talking about?” Jiang Yuyan exclaimed.

“I am sure you don’t want to reveal it in front of your guy, yet.” An Tian spoke.

She looked at Lu Lijun, “There is nothing. He is bluffing.”

Lu Lijun nodded, “I trust you. But I won’t mind if you act childish in front of me. I would love to see it.”

She cleared her throat, “Let’s hear Jake’s answer.”

Jake said, “It was during senior high school days, on the day of Evelyn’s birthday.”

Everyone heard it and then looked at Noah who answered, “Same as Jake’s answer.”

Jake then looked at him, “All these years you pretended to not remember. Drinking alcohol by mistake gave you an excuse to not remember it.”

Noah looked back at him, “That was a mistake. And why do you want to remember the fact that you kissed a guy on your girlfriend’s birthday? Wasn’t ignoring it a great deal?”

“No, it was not a great deal for me. I thought it was better you forgot you because you would not like to remember it,” Jake countered.

“True, I didn’t want to remember it but my brain didn’t let me forget. Happy now?”

“No, I am not. If we hadn’t acted like we had forgotten it and nothing had happened, we wouldn’t be like how we are today.”

Noah chuckled, “Really? Your Highness, I gave you the last chance to say it when we three were on the trip after our graduation. I insisted you to tell you with whom your first kiss was…But you didn’t answer. You acted as if a disgusting and painful thing happened to you. That was the day I decided to not have any such thoughts about you. I erased any of the possibilities between us.”

“Noah…”

“Let me finish,” Noah interrupted him, “If you had told me that day and had accepted it, I would have forgotten everything and come to you. You say you don’t know your preference but you like me just because it’s me, it’s the same with me, Jake. Even though I don’t know what my preference is, I fell for you just because it was you…But…It’s over now. Nothing matters.”

“I won’t give up,” Jake spoke.

“I don’t care,” Noah replied.

Everything had turned silent as others only looked at these two, not knowing what to say.

“Are you two done?” An Tian asked only to get silence in return.

An Tian continued, “Next Question- When did you lie or didn’t correct the misunderstanding of your loved one?”

He looked at Lu Feng who answered, “I don’t correct when she thinks I am with her out of compulsion or just to fulfil my promise.”

Lu Lijun: “Whenever I told Yuyan that I hated her. Because it was a lie. I just could not tell her how much I loved her.”

Jiang Yuyan put her hand on his as much as she knew it now. Now it was her turn and everyone looked at her.

Jiang Yuyan: The accident happened with you in England and when I was in hospital after that, I never mistook you for Lu Qiang. Every moment I knew it was you.

Lu Lijun looked at her in shock. She wanted him closer to her, she wanted him to kiss her, she wanted him not to leave her even for a moment when they were in the hospital…It was not about his brother but about him.

He asked, “When you said you find everything beautiful when I am with you….”

“That was for you,” she replied.

A wave of emotions enveloped his heart as to how much he liked it when she said it but at that moment he thought it was for his brother. If he knew it was for him, he would have hugged her tightly, not let her leave.

Lu Lijun leaned toward her and hugged her tightly. Jiang Yuyan could not say anything while others felt happy for these two.

“This is what I would have done then,” Lu Lijun spoke while holding her in a tight hug.

An Tian looked at Lu Feng, “I wish your woman was here and she could hear your answer as well.”

“He can just tell her on his own,” Jiang Yang said, “You are my man. You won’t disappoint me.”

Lu Feng sighed, “Let’s see.”

Jake and Noah were silent so An Tian looked at Jiang Yang, “let’s give them some time to think. Till then your answer.”

Jiang Yang sighed helplessly, “She must have thought that I let her go because I blamed her for her stepbrother being involved in that accident and I didn’t correct her. I never blamed her.” Jiang Yang answered.

Jiang Yuyan looked at her sad brother, “I am sure she knows it, brother.”

Lu Feng chimed in, “She understands you. Trust me.”

“It’s not too late yet. You shall not waste your trips to the USA,” An Tian commented.

“Yes, brother. You should…”

“I am afraid I am late,” Jiang Yang said and then looked at Jake and Noah, “You two are left.”

They understood he didn’t wish to talk more about it.
