Phoenix was considered on the same level as Heavenly Beast on their own. A mythical creature with power many desired. Not just the Sacred Realm, but also the people from the God Realm.

The phoenix fire didn’t just contain destruction, but also contained healing ability. That was what the current patriarch tried to achieve, the perfect and pure phoenix fire. That was why they killed the phoenix and used its remnant to generate phoenix inner energy to help with their cultivation.

"No, I am not. I know well what my family faces, hence I offer the proposal. The conditions are not asking you to spare my life or the other’s in responsible for the phoenix’s slaughter."

Feng Zhan didn’t fail to surprise Tang Shaoyang again. It seemed Feng Zhan knew he was no match for Tang Shaoyang. Of course, Tang Shaoyang was not going to believe the man’s words. He was not that naive.

"The conditions are to spare the people and the city, along with the Feng Family’s children. In exchange, I will give you the list of who was involved in the phoenix’s slaughter and help that phoenix for her revenge as well."

He mentioned the children, but not the women and the elderly. It was clear what Feng Zhan tried to do. It was to secure the Feng Family’s future, to ensure the Feng Family didn’t disappear.

"Why should I believe..." Tang Shaoyang didn’t finish his words as Feng Zhan grabbed the Grand Elder by the neck.

Then the Grand Elder’s whole body burned in golden-crimson fire. The quality of Feng Zhan’s fire was completely different than the Grand Elder’s. The Grand Elder screamed in pain as he could not believe what Feng Zhang did to him.

"WHY!? WHY ARE YOU BETRAYING THE FAMILY! WHY!?"

The Grand Elder kept questioning Feng Zhang while in pain. Meanwhile, Feng Zhang had his head lowered, not looking the Grand Elder in the eyes. The guilt was obvious in his eyes.

Tang Shaoyang didn’t wait for Feng Zhan to finish off the Grand Elder, as he snatched the Grand Elder. He crushed the Grand Elder’s neck and quelled the golden-crimson fire. It was not that many feet for quelling the fire. He just used his Chaos Energy to get rid of Feng Zhan’s energy that fueled the fire.

After hearing the killing notification, he put the body into his inventory, "I will take the bodies. Not just him, but the other dead bodies as well as the phoenix bodies in your training hall."

Feng Zhan could not sense the movement from Tang Shaoyang. He thought no one could remain undetected when he reached the God Realm, getting talent, and even enhancing his bloodline. He was wrong about it, so this was the rumored new monster from the Executive Administrator.

His return was about to update the situation in the God Realm, and more importantly, about the new Executive Administrator. He got information that the new Executive Administrator was in the Sacred Realm.

He was about to tell his family about the Executive Administrator, to ensure not to offend this new Executive Administrator, who had left unscathed after making a scene at the Hurakan Kingdom’s king’s birthday celebration.

That was why he returned to make sure that no fools from his family crossed paths with Tang Shaoyang. Alas, he found the man with the exact sketch of the Executive Administrator in his secret realm. He wished the Executive Administrator were here for the phoenix bodies they stored for training.

On top of that, he was here to help the phoenix’s revenge. His fighting spirit told him to give it a try to fight the Executive Administrator, but his rational mind told him to ensure the Feng Family does not disappear from history.

Another thing he was being reminded of was that Tang Shaoyang hadn’t gone all out yet. While there was no complete information, he managed to gather a little bit of information about the class and bloodline.

Tang Shaoyang was known for having a dragon bloodline, one of the strongest types of dragons. Another problematic issue was the class. His class was also known for being absurdly strong, which led to a big alliance, the likes of Nirvana Alliance, seeking its eradication.

He knew little to nothing about the Spirit Contractor, but he was not going to risk the whole city’s safety just to find out about it. That was why he offered the proposal.

"You seem to know about me?" Tang Shaoyang looked Feng Zhan in the eyes.

"Yes. I am in charge of the Feng Family’s branch in the God Realm. While we don’t have an interest in expanding our influence outside there, we need to keep up with the God Realm’s power structures. Your name is always the headline in the information guild."

There was no need to hide from Tang Shaoyang. He was seeking mercy.

"So the Feng Family owns an information-gathering guild?" Tang Shaoyang asked with a thoughtful look on his face.

Feng Zhan didn’t know why Tang Shaoyang asked, but the Feng Family had their own people for information gathering. While it was not official and not as extensive as the information gathering faction, it was quite decent.

"We do, but ours is not as extensive as the actual information faction."
