Zhang Mengyao wanted to dive more into the event, but Tang Shaoyang was not interested in that. She wanted to talk about strategy and stuff. The commonly used strategy for a faction when they wanted to claim a dimensional pocket.
It was not because he didn’t need the strategy, but because they needed to make an ideal strategy without him. The reason was that he would move by himself.
He made it clear that he would protect them, but he would not babysit them. Since they wanted to take the risk of joining the event, they had to bear the consequences themselves. On top of that, his goal was the third phase, and it was more efficient for him to move alone to collect the credits.
He would not allow them to go to the third phase even if they had enough points. He believed the ones who aimed for the last phase were the old monsters from the God Realm. It might be too much for them. He would allow them to go to the second phase and get the upgrade from the God Merchant in the second phase, but not in the third.
Tang Shaoyang emphasized that the condition was that they wanted to join the event. If they didn’t agree with the condition, then they were not allowed to join. He made sure that they needed to take his words seriously. He followed with a threat that those who didn’t listen to his order would be punished.
He didn’t mention what kind of punishment, but he would not allow a few individuals to endanger the others. If one joined, the others would follow. That was why he emphasized that punishment.
There were still eight months left. They should be able to come up with something before the event.
He left the meeting, continuing with his daily routine. First thing, he dropped the bodies from clearing Wintermont. He forgot to drop the materials in his special storage in the Smart Base underground floor.
After that, he met his daughter, Tang Xiulan. The little girl loved her little sister and brother so much that she rarely played outside recently. She acted like a guard for them, staying next to Huan Mei and Gavriel most of the time.
He came to give Glodden his pay, a gold coin, and gave the little guy a bonus of two more gold coins. The Golden Imp went over the moon, leaving his post with Tang Shaoyang’s permission. The spirit left for his treasury, where he kept all his gold and shiny objects.
That left Tang Shaoyang alone with his children to play with them for a good three hours, having lunch together before returning to his Cultivation. Developing his cultivation was his main focus, especially when he discovered his unique energy could summon a dragon in the form of the Wise.
Wise materialized when he used a technique that was a new discovery. He just found out more potential in his cultivation and wanted to develop it further. His main focus was still the Heavenly Scripture.
Before getting engrossed in his Cultivation, he didn’t forget to send Ira a message to arrange his visit to the Dragon Realm with Krazon from the Stygian Wither Clan.
Stygian Wither Clan was one of the dragonkin clans in the Dragon Realm, a distant descendant of one of the Dragon Guardians, Nirdarth the Phantom Dragon.
Nirdarth was not in his database. From what he knew, there were four Dragon Guardians and one Monarch. None of them was named Nirdarth. He recognized Ammor, Baccara’s vengeance target.
Then there was this Zonaras, the Frostbane Dragon. One of its descendant dragonkin attacked him during the Trial of God. That was why he knew Zonaras.
Then there was Tynayr the Galestorm Dragon, and Iandra the Ocean Dragon, two out of the four Dragon Guardians. There was no involvement between him and them, so he only knew their names. He was not interested in looking at their information further than that.
Then there was a monarch as the head of the four Dragon Guardians, Orve the Dragon Monarch. He knew them because he must fight them once he decided to help Baccara with her vengeance. That was the limit of his information, and Nirdarth was not in the list.
Not that it matters, there must be some hierarchical stuff he didn’t know. This Nirdarth might be one rank below the Dragon Guardian. He would still talk with them even though Nirdarth was not one of the four Dragon Guardians.
Krazon mentioned cooperation when the dragonkin invited him. Tang Shaoyang could guess what Krazon wanted after hearing what the God Realm Champion was.
It was a cooperation to work together in the event. He didn’t mind an ally that would help him with his people, which was why he didn’t turn them down right away. The talk was about the extent of their cooperation and what they wanted from this cooperation.
He had a guess at what they wanted. The Stygian Wither Clan might want the dimensional pocket. The Stygian Wither Clan was not the big powerhouse, or else he would have heard them, and they would not seek him for cooperation if that was the case.
Krazon also mentioned the possibility of more than a cooperation. He could guess what it was as well, but that was not for him to decide. If it came down to a vassal talk, then he would have to bring Li Shuang and her team for the discussion.
That was for later, as he asked Ira to arrange the visit. He didn’t really want to waste his time on such trivial details when he had a cultivation to explore and develop.
When he was done with that preparation, he delved into the Heavenly Scripture. He had chosen the next technique.
Tang Shaoyang’s next technique was one of the Heavenly Beast Gate stills. The technique was called the Kun Peng Gate. It was a similar technique to his Heavenly Beast - Heavenly Gate.
The difference was that the technique was more complete than the one in the Nine Heavenly Gates. Not only could he borrow the Kun Peng’s power, but he could materialize the Kun Peng form to fight with him. It was more than just borrowing their power.
That made him realize that the Heavenly Azure Dragon might be incomplete, and so the other three Heavenly Beast Gates. That meant there was more to explore and learn.
He delved into his cultivation, spending his time in his private training chamber created by the dwarves. A week quickly passed. He had learned the Heavenly Kun Peng Gate, but that was it. He could only borrow its power; he hadn’t fully learned them all.
Learning a technique was totally different than exploring a skill. He didn’t need to learn a skill. It was more like the way of using the skill itself, the potential of the skill. But it was different from the technique.
It might take him months or maybe years if not for the Grandmaster Codex and the Heavenly Scripture. The Heavenly Scripture contained the insight and guidance of his predecessors. It was considered a cheat. He skipped several steps with the cheat.
In that one week, he also received a confirmation from Krazon through Ira. They agreed to meet him for cooperation. The meeting time was in three days in a city called Aera in the God Realm. Krazon agreed to meet him there, and his name was already put in the whitelist for Aera City’s teleportation.
