The Primordial of Endless Eclipse was a special existence, one that was bound between light and darkness, and Rowan knew that although his New Primordials had great advantages over the ancient Primordials because of the power of their concepts, this also meant that there was great disparity in their powers.Any New Primordial with special prefixes to their title, like Endless, were usually much powerful than those without this signature, but the reverse could also be the case, and it was a fascinating thing to watch and process.
Staff was a special Primordial, and even his main body deemed that to be the case, and Rowan knew that these ten Primordials would most likely be all he had to work with before the battle was done, but if he was lucky, he might get one or two Primordials, although he was hoping that his ascension on the Road of Eternity would be enough to push special Old Ones into the ranks of Primordials.
It was a shame that no Old One was able to last for long under the light of the Third Layer of Space, the Fractal Weave, but traces of this level would be left permanently on the road, and it would go a long way to enlighten those who would be cultivating their souls on this road.
These traces that would be left behind were so complex that even Primordials would struggle with them, but there were those that were lucky and fated and if they could discern a tiny fraction of the mysteries left behind, especially the third level of space, it was possible to push them to the peak of the eighth dimension and the possibility of reaching Primordial was at hand.
Only Rowan, who was ascending to the ranks of Primordial, would still be carefree enough to allow his thoughts to wander, but for him, reaching the Primordial level was not the challenge; it was the tribulation that was not under his control that was the problem.
He had discovered that with every layer he merged with his flesh, his consciousness was ripped into the past, where he saw the beginning of creation, and although he could leave this memory early if he chose to, he could not fight against the initial pull that drew him into it.
Since his main body could not directly share his vision when he was inside these past memories, there existed a gap in his defenses that an enemy could take advantage of, and as Rowan’s consciousness was inevitably dragged to the past, a part of him was tense because he was helpless, but he could only leave his safety to the Primordials here on the road and his main body, because he believed that he was still missing one part of the puzzle.
The Origin of Space was born with the birth of the first Realities, and unlike Rowan in the future who had a clear road to reach the fourth layer of space, all Realities had to figure out these secrets for themselves, but unlike immortals, Realities had special advantages and privileges that made this [rocess ridiculously easy for them, almost as if existence was actively feeding them this power.
Then Rowan saw it... the answers to one question that had always been bothering him... How could all Realities have such high attainment in similar Origins?
Rowan could now see the color of space very clearly, and with each new layer he seeded to his flesh, the color he could see deepened and became richer, hinting at the great mysteries of space. There were trillions of Realities here, and all of them controlled the Origin of Space, and yet these Origins did not clash.
This was a clear subversion of the rules that governed all Origin Forces, at least when it came to immortals and Primordials. Why were Realities different? How were they able to share the same Origin Force without the clash happening?
Perhaps it was because he needed to be at least at the Third Level of Origin before he could see this secret, Rowan now had the answer.
At first, he could not understand what he was looking at, but his consciousness had grown vast, and it was not difficult for him to see what was happening.
Every Reality that was born would naturally tend towards the Origin of Space, because the foundation of their bodies was essentially related to Space. However, there could only be a single Origin of Space, and that law could not be changed. The ninth dimension was the highest realm in existence, and anyone who held the origin of space held the entirety of the laws of space bounding existence, and so, there should have been only a single massive Reality in existence that could later splinter into many smaller realities... this was the natural evolution of existence... it was how it was always meant to be.
However, something... someone was changing the natural laws.
Attached to every Reality was a line of radiance that seemed to be filled with an endless source of potential that could be converted to anything, even Origin, and for a moment, it reminded him of soul energy and its capacity to recreate the endless laws inside a Reality. However, comparing this power linked to every Reality to Soul Energy was similar to comparing scattered dust and a diamond.
Rowan’s consciousness, now touching the third layer of space, was able to manifest himself inside the memory, and with a raise of his hand, he froze it, causing the entire chaos of trillions of realities coming to life to grind to a halt.
Slowly raising his left hand, time began to flow backward. However, since Time was not truly in existence here, it only appeared as if time was flowing backwards, but what was happening was that Rowan’s consciousness was just moving through this memory, from the present to the past.
This movement caused incredible strain on his consciousness, but when the fuel for his mental prowess went low, he felt a pure and potent power flow into his mind, and he knew that this was most likely Eos supporting his body from the outside.
Eos might be unable to enter this memory, but he was monitoring every part of Rowan’s body and soul, and in the moments where he felt a lack, he would fix it.
Rowan had no fear of running out of mental power, so he increased the push of his mind as he went deeper into the past. Now that he was able to see these new lines of radiance feeding power into existence where it should not be, he wanted to investigate it from the roots
He had not forgotten that flash of white that swept past him... Could he see the memory of the Creator inside this place?
From trillions, the number of realities continued to shrink as he went further into the past, and Rowan could observe that these lines of radiance that were ready to pour all of these potentials into Reality could be found all across existence... it was as if he was looking at the true foundation of creation.
What power could hold so much potential inside of them that they would choose to scatter it across all existence as if it were meaningless?
