Chapter 029: Why leave so soon?

After the Charlotte and Aldrich duo met with Thomas and the rest of the group they immediately started to study the current situation,

Since Thomas's battle with the guard's captain, enough time had passed for the camp to notice something had gone wrong! Surely by now, there will be more teams searching for them.

The group was hidden somewhere near the camp, while teams moved out to search for them, they awaited the perfect moment to sneak their way in, Thomas and the formation master had completed several formations, that would help in their infiltration. As they moved deeper the number of soldiers increased, and similarly the tension in the team's hearts, their earlier confidence started to diminish, everywhere around them the majority of soldiers were at the True Origin realm or higher, while those on the Minor Origin realm were counted on hands.

Charlotte replied " It doesn't matter, we are not here to fight them! ", Everyone nodded inwardly.

Disturbed by the unknown troublemaker, the bloodhound's shortly enjoyed nap after it ate some snacks was cruelly cut off, waking up in an overwhelming rage, in it's eyes that was complete disregard and the ultimate provocation, it made a loud howl and jumped off towards the location of the explosion with blazing fire raging in its eye, the bloody air around it seemingly materialized as red mist filled the surroundings.

The group waited until the bloodhound was a distance away, after that they neared the space travel formation.

in a calm and orderly manner, under the covering of the concealing formation, the group members stood like guards as the formation experts of the group led by Thomas started working on the teleportation formation.

by now everyone's hearts were at their throats, they were nearing the last steps of this escape plan and nothing could go wrong otherwise, even if they were a few times stronger their end would be much the same, a miserable death.

On the side, working on the space travel formation, Thomas had a focused expression, however inside he wasn't as calm, as someone with massive amounts of experience and a cautious person in his own right he didn't think things would go this smoothly, maybe it the group was all of the specially trained members but with their current members it surely was a miracle.

The beast had left, majority of the soldiers similarly left to the explosion center, only a few were left to guard the surroundings of the formation but they didn't dare get near the place where the bloodhound slept, with that the group managed to smoothly.

The sound of battle came from the distance, accompanied by the angry howls of beasts, " Just what did the old man give Quinn so he could make such a formation? " Aldrich marvelled to himself

Time passed slowly in their eyes and after what seemed like a lifetime of waiting, Thomas's voice sounded hushed " Everyone get ready, once the portal opens huddle together and jump as fast as possible! ".

while he spoke, Thomas took out a pill and swallowed it, while he handed the other formation master another one, moments later a strange sound came out of the space travel formation, increasing gradually accompanied by a strange wind, the portal was opening!

" This space travel formation will create a tunnel that opens near the outskirts of the capital,.... I made it so that after it transports us, it will activate a countdown and self district so we need to move fast, i won't be able to hide the formation fluctuations once it's completely activated!" his words directly rang in their minds
