What appeared after sliding the route map in the rest room was what seemed to be a challenge leading to a hidden route.[Kai-chan, whats this?]

Alice definitely struck me as the type who liked adding little bonus features, hidden extras and things like that.
Honestly, stuff like this is exciting, and I personally love it too. On top of that, this route requires you to be able to use magic, check the route map in the rest room, and notice that tiny little arrow, so I imagine its a pretty difficult secret to discover.
If I had to guess, there are probably several hidden routes like this, and this is just one of them.
Anyway, first things first, the challenge. Along with the words Extinguish every light, the screen displayed a number of circular lights arranged in a fairly regular pattern.
So the objective was to turn them all off? I tried touching one while enveloped in magic power, and the light I touched and the one immediately to its right went out, while the circle on the left, which had originally been dark, lit up.
[Ah, I think I get it. This is probably one of those puzzles where touching a spot toggles that light and the ones on either side on and off. You have to switch the lights on and off until you manage to turn every single one off.]
I remembered seeing a similar gimmick in a game Id played years ago. It had actually been a pretty difficult puzzle, and personally, this was the kind of brain teaser I wasnt very good at.
There were quite a lot of lights on this screen too, so this looked like it would be a challenge.

Since Fate-san wanted to try, I let her have a go. After hearing the rules from me, she stared at the screen for only a moment before tapping it several times without the slightest hesitation, and in no time at all, every light was out.
It really made me feel the difference in our basic abilities. Once again, I was reminded that Fate-san wasnt just powerful, she was incredibly smart too.

Just as I thought something was about to happen, a deep rumbling echoed through the room. The wall where the route map had been split apart from the center, opening to either side, revealing what looked like a staircase leading underground.
[This seems to be the hidden route Though, is everyone okay with taking this path?]

Id been talking as though wed already decided to take the hidden route, so I checked with everyone just to be sure. Since all three of them were perfectly fine with it, we headed down the stairs.
Even though they were stairs, they were broad and the steps were shallow, probably designed with larger people in mind. We continued downward, and eventually we arrived in a spacious chamber.
Mirrors mounted on pedestals fitted with magic crystals had been placed all around the room, and it looked like wed be using them somehow. Right near the entrance stood a signboard explaining the rooms challenge.
Guide the light to the deepest point
Reading that, I looked around the room and noticed an Illumination Magic Tool embedded in the wall at the far edge, shining a beam of light straight ahead.
The light were meant to guide must be that Illumination Magic Tool. Since its fixed to the wall, I assume were not supposed to remove it Rather, are we meant to reflect its light with the mirrors until it reaches the far end?
[I think thats probably it. The pedestals are likely fixed in place, and only the mirrors themselves can be rotated.]
[Yes, just as Kaito-sama said, the pedestals are fixed. However, touching the magic crystal rotates the mirror 45 degrees clockwise.]
As I answered Lilywood-sans question, Cornelia-san, who had been examining one of the pedestals, offered some additional information. It seemed the objective was exactly what Id expected: rotate the mirrors to reflect the beam of light until it reached the door at the very back of the room.
It took a bit of thinking, but it wasnt especially difficult. After discussing it with the three of them while adjusting the mirrors around the room, we soon succeeded in reflecting the light all the way to the far end, and the door at the back opened.

[Hmmm If were thinking normally, Id guess five rooms, just like the other routes. There wouldnt really be any reason to make only this one longer or shorter Though, if the rest room counts as the first room, then there might only be three rooms left.]
I gave Cornelia-sans question some thought before answering. Its possible this hidden route exists to obtain some special item, in which case it could be shorter because youd return to the main route afterward. Still, I thought it was more likely that the total number of rooms to the goal was the same as the other routes.
Since we had solved a puzzle in the rest room as well, counting that as one room would make the underground section a total of four rooms, with the last one being the goal.
Thinking that, we stepped into the next room. In the center stood an ornate pedestal, and resting atop it was a Rubiks Cube.
Complete all six faces as quickly as possible. Time measurement begins the moment you pick up the cube. The slower you are, the higher the difficulty of the next rooms challenge. Maximum difficulty is reached after 5 minutes.
I see. All six faces in five minutes huh For someone attempting it for the first time, even 5 minutes would be fairly challenging. This hidden route was probably intended to be considerably more difficult than the others.
Well, no problem. Lets finish it in under 30 seconds.
