Chapter 2618: Demon Realm Amusement Park

Although the barrier within the attraction ensures that everyone can generally finish and come out at roughly the same time, there seemed to be some slight differences, and when we were teleported to the entrance, there was no one around except us.

However, that only lasted for a few dozen seconds, as another group soon appeared in the area that served as the exit and immediately afterward, I felt something cling to my back.

[Huh? Eh? Rosemary-san!?]

When I turned around, there was Rosemary-san, practically plastered against my back. She had her hands on both of my shoulders, hiding so completely behind me that she was almost invisible from the front, and was trembling slightly.

I barely had time to wonder what had happened before Eris-san, Caraway, and Theta were teleported in after Rosemary-san and the moment I saw the members, I pretty much understood whats going on.

[K- Kaito-kunh- hyel, help me]

[A- Ahh~~ I seeThat was an unfortunate grouping. Are you okay?]

[E- Eris-chan did her best, and we managed to clear it without any problems, butI was too scared to talk at all, so I felt horribly awkward the whole time.]

For Rosemary-san, who has an extreme case of stranger anxiety and, even with someone she takes to quickly, needs anywhere from several hours to several days before she can get used to them, being assigned to a group consisting entirely of people she had barely ever spoken to could only be described as incredibly unlucky.

She probably remained silent the entire time with her expression frozen, while Eris-san and the others probably tried to be considerate by initiating conversation and talking to her. But Rosemary-san wouldnt be able to respond and would only glare at them It must have created an atmosphere straight out of hell.

[N- No, well, even so, compared to before, Ive gotten to the point where I can talk to people Im meeting for the first time for about two days less on average before I get used to themB- But even so, people Im not familiar with are scary.]

Rosemary-san replied in a small voice to Lillywood-san, who spoke with an exasperated smile. After speaking with Cornelia-san, Eris-san, who had been wearing a puzzled or rather, concerned expression, seemed to pull herself together a little and continued talking.

Earn Rosemary-sans recognition? A- Ahhh, come to think of it, I seem to remember that when we were dealing with the rose accessory case, she said that Rosemary-san was difficult to deal with and would only speak to people she acknowledged Is that how shes generally perceived by society? Its more like shes afraid of strangers though

As I was thinking that, the others gradually began returning as well, and perhaps relieved to see Camellia-san appear, Rosemary-san moved away from my back and started talking with her.

Lilia-san, who I had been worried about, had been grouped with Luna-san, Hina-chan, and Tir-san, which was about as safe a combination as you could ask for. Apparently, Hina-chan and Tir-san had happily taken the lead, while Lilia-san enjoyed watching them together with Luna-san and occasionally stepped in to help when necessary.

[Errr, the one we reached was the normal throne, but when we got there, a message appeared in glowing letters that said something like There is also a hidden True Throne separate from this one, so if you have the opportunity to visit again, please try looking for it.]

[Ah~~ I see. Having something like that makes you want to try again, so its a pretty clever design.]

I had thought that finding the hidden route would be quite difficult, but if there was a hint when you reached the normal throne, then when you tried again, youd know to look for something like that, which might make it easier to find. It would also simply encourage repeat visitors, so I thought it was a good idea with the official opening in mind.

As I was giving Hina-chan, who seemed interested, a brief explanation about the True Throne, Aoi-chan joined the conversation as well, and we ended up talking about the routes each of us had taken.

Apparently, Lilia-san and Luna-san had basically left everything to Hina-chan and Tir-san, only helping when they ran into trouble, so they made it to the goal by taking a relatively easy route.

According to them, many of the easier routes werent really puzzles so much as rooms where you had to search around for something, like the first room, and find a key.

Aoi-chan seemed to have taken a high-difficulty route, and as expected, there were many problems that required some serious thinking, with quite a few that were basically three-dimensional puzzles.

Still, even though they were on the difficult side, they were designed in a way that worked as attractions, and apparently there were hardly any elaborate gimmicks like the hidden route we took, or things involving restrictions or changing difficulty levels.

Well, regardless, taking everything into account, including our impressions after finishing it, I think it was a good attraction that a large group of people could enjoy together.
