Chapter 1828: Highest Weapon DG 3A

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

Mingyunjun was a decisive man, so, as soon as he saw death approaching, he threw all caution to the side. First, he transformed into his true form, a massive beast resembling a Qilin with a dragon head, a deer-like body, and scales and hooves. The only difference was that his body was woven from thin gray threads; he had a third eye on his dragon head, two wheels floating above his head, and was missing one leg; however, the last part was probably the result of the previous attack.

With a thought, the Power Force materialized before Mingyunjun, and he did not hesitate to sacrifice the entire thing to boost his strength and ensure he survived that attack. The Fate Chaos Demon God’s ruthless decisiveness was fully displayed — or so everybody thought. Countless threads flew from the wheels around Mingyunjun’s body and embedded themselves in 10 Tribunal Saints and more than a hundred Primordial Chaos Saints from both the Heaven Splitting Holy Land and the Primordial Chaos Holy Land.

Then, under everybody’s horrifying look, these people sacrifice their [Existence], and everything about themselves to help Mingyunjun block the attack. The calmness with which they acted was eerie, even though everybody knew they were probably under control; no, the fact that they were controlled made the situation even scarier.

Boom!

The Saint died. The Power Force dissipated. And MIngyunjun’s ceased to exist. No signs of his body, soul, or presence were detected. His fate had ended under the claw of the Great Old One. At least, that’s what it looked like. Cthulhu — whose grandfather, Yog Sothoth, also controls Fate — knew how slippery these fellows were. So, he was prepared to check his work. However, the sense of danger he had previously felt increased drastically.

Time had run out. After all this work, it would pain him if this clone were destroyed before bringing back the nourishment to the main body. So, without wasting much time, the Great Dream spoke. No one knew the language, but everybody understood his meaning:

"Shout my name, Cthulhu, the Great Dreamer, and you shall obtain all your desires: immortality, eternal life, power, endless knowledge, and all the secrets of the universe. Praise my name, and I shall offer you gifts beyond your mortal comprehension. Worship me, and I shall strike your enemy down for you."

As soon as these words were uttered, a seed of information was planted in the mind of every creature in the Chaos Origin Realm. From now on, every sentient being — from the lowest mortal to the most powerful Saint — knew how to contact a superior being that could fulfill all their desires and ambitions. Anyone with a basic understanding of logic can see the madness about to be unleashed in this world.

Humans are inherently a race of intense emotions and desires. Previously, systemic issues shackled their minds and ambitions, but now Cthulhu was offering them another way: a way to unleash their inner inhibition. The only price is madness and chaos, which, for most humans, was worth it.

Satisfied with his work, Cthulhu removed itself from the Chaos Origin Realm. Grand Dao had almost dealt with the corruption in the Underworld, and once she was completely free, Cthulhu knew it might suffer a devastating blow. As such, he did not hesitate to cancel this projection and reclaim all the power he had received from the sacrifice.

All the Nine Grand Dao Saints sighed in relief. Although some of them technically had the same strength as this creature, there is always an unnerving feeling every time they muster the thought to confront it. It’s like a terrible feeling in the back of the mind that something will go wrong. The unknown is truly horrible.

BI Jinshi’s face suddenly turned ugly, "Jiang Qing!" His body rushed toward Timeline NP89076H and the Chaos Origin Realm. Sadly, it was still a step too late. Jiang Qing’s clone technique had already reached his destination, and with a flicker of his wrist, a piece of golden light descended into the Chaos Origin Realm. Immediately afterward, a mighty punch annihilated the clone, but it was useless.

Bi Jinshi stared at the Highest Sovereign. As a descendant of a True Transcendent, he is one of the most powerful Grand Dao Saints, and yet, he was played by a bastard who was once forced into exile. How could his pride accept such a thing? Bi Jinshi’s body released a terrifying blood energy that easily influenced the two timelines.

"I’ll make you pay." Jiang Qing remained calm. This was just an avatar, meaning he didn’t care if it was lost. His position in the court allowed him to do things with a more stable mindset. And if Bi Jinshi is bold enough to break into the Infinite Divine Court, then Jiang Qing is confident to ensure he never returns.

Just as everybody was about to fight again, a colossal eyeball materialized in the [Void Between Worlds], also called the Boundless Void Realm. The cold and indifferent eyeball observed and analyzed the situation before making a decision.

[Time NP89076H-2, code name, Chaos Origin Realm, has been compromised. Emergency action required. First Step: Temporary Raise Manager HE-987636 (Heaven Cardinal) authority for the cleanup. Warning: HE-987636 has exhibited signs of compromise. Although no concrete proof has been detected, he is a variable. Changing target to Manager SQS-986543 (Source Qi Cardinal).]

[Second Step: Replace Manager CT-897654 (Creation Cardinal). The candidate has already been chosen: Lifeform DT-P347654Y6452574. Warning: Candidate is also selected by Manager SSR-987654 (Samsara Cardinal) as her replacement. Rejected. The candidate is chosen as Manager CT-980023.]

[Third Step: Deploy Highest Weapon DG-3A (Destruction General). Directive: Erase Timeline NP89076H-2.]

As soon as those orders were deployed, the Chaos Universe trembled. Yes, not just the Primordial Timeline, but every timeline in the Infinite Trichiliocosm. Although only Saints felt it, the sensation was true. Following this tremor, all powerful beings suddenly sense a threat to their lives. For a moment, they all had the same thought: I’m going to be destroyed.

All Grand Dao Saints knew where this sensation originated from. Because, at some point in their life — usually just after entering that realm — they will receive a warning in the form of a terrifying gaze. And they were very familiar with the aura of the gaze’s owner: the Destruction General.

"Damn it. First, it was taboo, and now this comes out? You did not pay me nearly enough to deal with all this bullshit." One of the Saints on Jiang Qing’s side cussed. Then, without waiting for a response, he disappeared from this place. He was not the only one. Everybody followed soon, leaving only two people: Bi Jinshi and Jiang Qing.

"Things have gotten out of hand," Jiang Qing frowned. He wasn’t afraid of the Destruction General. Although technically speaking, the latter was more powerful than him, he is invincible inside the Infinite Divine Court. Such a statement was proven a few times, including the one time in which Grand Dao actually sent the Destruction General to wipe him out, and he forced the latter to retreat with minimal damage to his court and people.

As for Bi Jinshi? Well, he also wasn’t as strong as the Destruction General. However, their Bi Clan has one of the few weapons capable of threatening the Destruction General’s very existence. However, that weapon is the final trump card their founder left for them before leaving. Unless the Bi Clan and the Primeval Body Mansion become irreconcilable with the Grand Dao, it will not be used.

The two calmly watched as a creature embodying death and destruction appeared. Wearing an armor that did not show its face, black-red mist emitted from the Destruction General, leaving traces whenever it moved or even breathed. No sound could be heard from its body; whether it was speaking, breathing, or the movement of the armor clashing against each other or with some kind of flesh.

Its very presence immediately made Bi Jinshi and Jiang Qing uncomfortable, just like they felt when dealing with Cthulhu. The difference was that one was the result of its horrific nature, and the other was due to the instinctive fear or knowledge that the creature could eliminate them at any time. Although this was not true, they both felt as such.

Ignoring everything around it, the Destruction General stared at the Chaos Origin Realm for a few seconds before executing its orders.

Chaos Origin Realm, Heaven Splitting Holy Land:

Nobody spoke for a good half a minute after Cthulhu disappeared. To say today’s events were unexpected would be an understatement. Then, as everybody prepared to deal with the aftermath, a golden light descended from the sky to enter Star Manifestation’s body. A smile crept on the Tribunal Lord’s face, but soon, they regained their bearings after seeing so many eyes on them.

"Don’t waste your time on him," Wang Wei’s voice suddenly rang in the Expeditioners’ Tribunal Lords. "We may not have long, so take as much as you need as quickly as possible."
