Chapter 1020: Ice Lord Titan.

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

Slowly, the light surrounding Titan began to die down, and his body started to descend at an extremely slow pace, he was curled up, almost like a baby in a mother’s womb.

As he floated downward, Alec noticed that the half-formed ice crown that had once hovered a few meters above his head was no longer incomplete, it had become a full crown.

It looked like crystal ice, beautiful like fragile glass that could shatter at any moment, yet Alec could tell it was anything but fragile, this was not something that would be breaking anytime soon.

Then there was the fact that he seemed to be naked, and it seems he looked far more human than ever, something Alce hadn’t expected would be improved on again, if not for the icy blue skin and the mana circuits that had replaced the veins of a normal human, Alec would have had no trouble believing Titan was simply a bald man.

Right before Alec, Titan’s status window appeared, showing him everything he needed to know about his new Tier 7 golem, just like Legion, it seemed his overall stats were capped at a total of 3000.

But it didn’t stop there. Titan clearly seems to have fewer advanced skills than Legion. Still, if there was one thing Alec had learned, it was that whenever his golems lacked something in one area, they always found a way to make up for it in another, he felt he just wasn’t seeing it yet.

As Titan drew closer to the ground, solid ice began to weave itself around his body, as if stitching into place, as he spread his hands out.

Before Alec even realized what was happening, Titan was clad in a full set of equipment made from ice that covered him from head to toe, including hand guards and boots, with a massive ice shield strapped to his back.

At that moment, he truly looked like some kind of adventurer working under a hunter guild. After him, his ten Captains began to float down as well, though at a much slower speed.

It didn’t take long for Alec to pick out which one among Titan’s summons had entered the Tier 6 realm, though they all looked humanoid too just like Titan, but the one who was now giving a Tier 6 aura was far bulkier than the rest.

Just like Titan, he too had a shield strapped to his back, despite the fact his shield seems much larger. on his right arm was a smaller shield fixed where a hand guard should be, and as if that wasn’t enough, there was another shield on his left hand.

The shield on his left was round, though not perfectly so, as it had a crescent-like cut near the top, and along its edge was a razor-sharp lining of ice that looked far more dangerous than the rest, that edge seems to only have one purpose.

Cutting, while the rest of the body was for defending it seems to be the attacking part of the shield, the rest of Titan’s golems were bulky as well, but none of them had a setup as extreme as the one that had reached the Tier 6 realm.

They each carried heavy weapons of their own, even the others who used shields still had smaller axes or maces as secondary weapons, but this one alone took defense to an obsessive level.

“Master,” Titan greeted immediately, dropping to one knee and crossing his arms over his chest in a gesture of respect, and in that moment, Alec burst out laughing, his joy completely unrestrained.

On one side, he now possessed two powerful Tier 7 golems, each of them commanded ten Captain-ranked golem summons, and each Captain could in turn command ten Rare-ranked golems, that meant every General-ranked golem under him controlled an army of one hundred and ten.

Now that he had two, that was an army of at least two hundred and twenty mid-ranked fighters.

Out of those, two hundred had the potential to reach the Peak of Tier 5, becoming powerful golems capable of contending with the strongest mages and lifeforms of the Tier 5 realms.

But the twenty Captains... they were in a class of their own.

They all had the potential to enter the Peak Tier 6 realm, and each of them would be able to contend with top Tier 6 mages and other powerful lifeforms in the Tier 6 realm, and this was not even counting the two Tier 7 General-ranked golems that served as Alec’s main forces.

All of this, while he himself was still in the Tier 6 mage realm, felt almost impossible to be true, yet it was the truth, Alec was only just beginning to realize how terrifyingly strong he was becoming.

He turned to the side and saw Legion, his body splattered with troll blood.

In his hands were two fragment guns (Short Guns firearms ) built for close and destructive combat, he clearly didn’t possess Alec’s special ability (energy-vision) to locate the exact place where the core is located, so after racking his mind for the fastest way to end the battle, he had come to a conclusion: To destroy the Troll’s body parts faster than they could regenerate.

That way, he could identify which part of the body housed the core.

He started by firing at the knees of the troll on the right, because he decided to go after the boss, a loud bang rang out as the shot landed, forcing the massive creature to collapse awkwardly.

The stone-like structure forming its knees was blasted apart, almost as if its legs had been completely blown off, with the knees destroyed and still no sign of the core, Legion changed targets.

He dashed forward toward the troll. In rage, the troll slammed its club into the ground, causing jagged ice spikes to erupt upward in multiple directions, jutting out as if trying to impale him.

But Legion ignited the thrusters beneath his feet and launched into the air, while airborne, he fired at its head and chest, blasting chunks of flesh and stone away.

Even then, there was still no sign of the core, at this point, doubt started to crept into Legion’s mind.

Then, in a last desperate move, the troll tried to swat him away with his right hand. It was strange, because that same right hand had just been used to slam the ice club into the ground. Using it again like that puts the troll in an awkward position, especially when its left hand was completely free.

And that inconsistency made Legion focus.

That was all it took for Legion to grow suspicious of the left hand, he then maneuvered smoothly in midair, his balance so perfect that even the troll’s desperate swing couldn’t disrupt him.

Twisting his body, he landed directly on the creature’s left arm and began firing while sliding down along it, until he finally found what he was looking for at the elbow joint.

The moment he discovered it, he wasted no time, he locked both weapons together, merging them into a larger form by pulling some parts in place, and then proceeded to pull the trigger.

Then a massive explosion followed as the force from the attack seemed to blur the area in smoke.

The deed was done, and the troll collapsed face-first onto the ground, and this time there was no eruption of ice, no regeneration, no sign of revival, it was completely dead.

Legion then rose back into the skies with his glider wings spread wide, and the newly formed, larger shotgun resting casually on his shoulder.
