Chapter 1104: Ice Lord 1.

This time, Shin dashed forward as if he intended to bypass the flaming puppet in battle before getting to Beatrice, but then he threw out three spherical balls before he even got to the puppet. Beatrice immediately assumed he was attempting the same smoke bomb trick again when she saw what he did.

So she twitched her left fingers which had mana threads attached to the flaming puppet and urged the flaming puppet forward, and this was when it even had the gaping wound in its chest, however when she was waiting for smoke to burst out when the balls made contact with the flaming puppet, she saw Shin make a sharp turn and suddenly started sprinting away from the flaming puppet.

At the exact same time when he turned his head, he saw Beatrice slammed her foot against the wooden spider and used it as a platform to rise higher, and it seems to the crowd that she had chosen this course of action because Shin’s reaction clearly indicated that something was wrong with the balls that he had sent flying.

Boom!

Not long after, the three balls Shin had thrown at the flaming puppet exploded, and it was no small blast, the explosion rocked the battlefield, and this time the flaming puppet did not survive it, because he was at the center of the blast, causing his body to be blown to smithereens.

Meanwhile, Shin had turned into smoke at the last second, escaping the blaze, but both the wooden spider puppet and Beatrice had far less protection like he did.

Though the wooden spider was a little farther from the center of the explosion, however; the blast had spread across a wide enough range to catch it as well, as for Beatrice, the shockwave had sent her flying further into the air as she seemed to lose consciousness from the waves that hit her.

That was when a swooshing sound rang out, the next thing they saw was a hook-like wire coiling around Beatrice while her body was still airborne.

And like magic, Shin reappears as the smoke haze surrounding his body seems to have disappeared completely, a rope wrapped around his right hand, clearly revealing that he was the one responsible for the wire that coiled around her.

However, he had not just re-appeared just for show, he was trying to finish her for good, Shin stretched out his left hand, and caught the hooked end of the weapon, and was about to drag Beatrice’s ensnared body down, but then a sharp pain suddenly tore through him.

Frowning, he looked down at his chest, where the pain was coming from, and to his shock, he saw a wooden leg jutting out through it, that made him glance back slightly.

There she was—Beatrice, still seated on the back of the wooden spider puppet that had emerged from the explosion with little damage.

Shin could hardly believe it, he looked forward again and still saw Beatrice’s body hanging in the air, which he had kept floating due to the runes on his wired hook.

Then he looked back at Beatrice sitting atop the wooden spider, as if silently asking which one was real, only then did Beatrice dismiss the spell.

And with those words, everything changed, the body he had suspended in midair turned into a speck of light and dissipated.

Beatrice then tapped lightly on the wooden spider with her free hand, and it twisted its arm deeper into Shin’s chest before lifting him higher until he was facing her in a direct line, its wooden limb still embedded in him.

Feeling the weight of defeat, Shin swung his hand outward in a motion like he was drawing a blade, then a crescent-shaped wind slash, which seemed compressed with enough force to tear through flesh, flew toward Beatrice.

But before it could reach her, she threw out what looked like an array disk, the next second, a wooden puppet shaped like a human figure appeared before her, its dull eyes staring blankly ahead, it raised a hand and used its body to absorb the attack meant for Beatrice.

Shizzzle!

It was blown back but it still made sure to stop the backward momentum before it got closer to Beatrice, almost like it would rather die than let harm come to its master, both of its arms had been used to block the attack, but they were now damaged beyond recognition.

Then, another pair of arms erupted from its sides and moved upward, while the joints connecting the nearly destroyed arms were ejected and replaced by the new ones, almost as if it had lost nothing at all.

When Shin saw this, fear flashed across his face, he could not understand what he was witnessing, but then the puppet manifested a sword made of Qi and dashed forward, by the time it had passed through him, the only thing Shin could see was the world tilting upside down.

‘Wait… is that me? Why am I seeing my own body?’ Those thoughts raced through his mind, but he soon came to a realization that he had just been eliminated by an ordinary puppet.

His body was already disintegrating, though at a slower pace.

Beatrice turned to look at Brandon, only to see that he was staring elsewhere, and Kenta Mori who he was supposed to be facing was nowhere to be seen, which meant he had already been taken care of.

Not that she had doubted him, it was just that to her Lucas’s combat skill seemed to be advancing faster and faster than she could even keep up, Brandon and Arthur were also watching the battle, though from a much greater distance.

At this point, everyone’s attention was fixed on the final battle unfolding before them, even in the VIP section, many had not expected what they were seeing.

They had all imagined something far more balanced, but the moment the battle began, everything seemed to turn upside down , especially after the first kill.

And now the fight appeared to be reaching a critical moment, yet the Progenitor Takeda seemed not to care, almost as though he wanted his avatars to be killed, as he hadn’t made a move yet.

On another side, Titan swung his maces with ease while tilting his body to avoid the counterattack from both the Wind Takeda and the Earth Takeda.

Wind Takeda’s strikes were faster, as his element enhanced not only his movement speed but every aspect of his combat—including attack speed. However, for some reason, the moment he got close to Titan, he seemed to slow down slightly.

It was almost as if he were being frozen in space, even though there was no visible ice affecting his body, he initiated his attack with a direct horizontal slash aimed at Titan’s waist, his goal clear, to cut deep enough to expose Titan’s core.

But as always, things didn’t go exactly as planned, because while Wind Takeda had his own plan, Titan also had one as well, as the slash came in, Titan twisted his body, gripping the mace in his right hand in an inverse hold and using it to intercept the attack.

A sharp screech rang out as the blade clashed against the mace, however; Titan didn’t stop there, as he pushed forward with raw strength, ensuring the blade couldn’t get any closer, while simultaneously shifting his position to bypass Wind Takeda entirely.

By the time he passed through, Titan had unknowingly placed himself right in the middle of two Takedas—Just exactly as the time the Earth Takeda brought down a heavy cleave with his greatsword, having already discarded his conjured earth axe.
