Inside Robin's Soul Domain-"Phew~" Robin leaned back slowly, stretching his arms wide as if trying to embrace the entire Soul Domain around him. "What I said to Morgana... it felt more like a full-fledged speech than a mere message. Even though, technically, I didn't create anything entirely new except for the merged Law of Purifying Light, I feel as though I ended up saying an awful lot. Perhaps too much"
"That's because you actually said an awful lot!" Niri said sharply, placing her hands firmly on her hips. Her tone carried a mix of amusement and mild reproach. "And secondly... don't ever treat the Law of Purifying Light as if it's nothing. Seriously, Robin, how on earth did you even manage to make it so quickly?! That's practically impossible!"
"Hmm... ever since the Specter Valley Planet incident, I've been contemplating all possible methods of purification. I've considered countless variations, combinations, and potential improvements. The core idea had been in my mind for quite some time, lingering quietly, waiting for the right moment. Morgana... she simply gave me the push, the motivation I needed to finally put it all into writing" Robin explained, rubbing his forehead lightly as if easing the tension from deep thoughts. He then returned to sit more comfortably, his posture relaxed but his gaze sharp. Turning toward the soul sapling, he offered a gentle, yet confident smile. "What do you think, Timari? Do you honestly believe that my plans... all of them... will elevate the academy's standing, perhaps even beyond anything anyone has imagined?"
"Of course!" Timari replied enthusiastically, raising her thumb with a gleeful laugh that echoed faintly from inside the mirror. "Everything you do is extraordinary, Lord Human. You never settle for mediocrity. Not once. Every single plan you conceive, every move you make... it is aimed at the greatest, most ambitious goal possible. Nothing less is acceptable for you."
"Hmm... a good explanation of my mindset. I suppose I won't argue with that," Robin nodded, a faint smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. Then, leaning slightly forward, he fixed his eyes on Timari's with an intensity that seemed to pierce through the mirror. "Do you truly believe that spreading news about the Cosmic Elder's children... that it will achieve the exact purpose I intend?"
"...I'm not really qualified to comment on something like that," Timari admitted, shaking her head slightly, before changing the subject as if sidestepping the weight of Robin's question. "But... those peacekeeping forces of yours... when they are finally formed, they will make monumental news, without a shadow of doubt! There's no way the universe will ignore such a spectacle!"
"..." Robin remained silent for a long moment, his gaze fixed unwaveringly on Timari. He let out a deep, contemplative sigh, as if the weight of his plans pressed down upon him. Then, with a slow, almost lazy gesture, he pointed toward her. "Regarding the Law of Purifying Light I sent to Morgana -fully perfected up to the fourth level- deliver it to Lord Morval as an additional gift from me. Afterwards... tell him that when the time comes and Morgana begins pushing to spread the news, if Lord Morval has any objections, he must speak to me before taking any action. Everything, no matter how complicated it may seem, can be resolved with words. And in every challenge, there is always some hidden benefit to be found, if one only looks closely."
"Lord Morval will certainly be delighted with such a valuable gift." Timari clapped her hands with visible joy, her voice filled with a sense of pride and excitement.
Robin's smile faded into a more somber, almost melancholic expression. He knew that he would likely have to send additional gifts soon enough. Spreading news about the Cosmic Elder would not harm the Dreamer Galaxy, certainly not, but it would elevate another entity -the Sacred Covenant Academy, to a level of status and influence that was unprecedented. A status that was both competitive and remarkably secure, one that could challenge established powers and make the academy a force to be reckoned with.
Robin could not predict how Lord Morval would react at this stage. Would he ignore the news entirely, pretending it was inconsequential? Or would he attempt to suppress the dissemination of information, perhaps even conduct his own investigations in secret? Could he try to wrest control of the Sacred Covenant Academy for himself? The thought was both unnerving and pressing. Predicting the actions or thoughts of someone like Lord Morval was inherently illogical, Robin mused, but convincing him that their goals were aligned-at least on the surface-was far more rational. Perhaps it would keep him from creating chaos for as long as possible, and that would be enough... for now.
The fear Robin had felt when first hearing news of the impending clash with THEM was real, tangible, and lingering. It reminded him once again that no matter how powerful he became, there were forces in the universe with which he could not afford to tangle. Not yet.
And the Dreamer Galaxy... the Dreamer Galaxy was indisputably one of those forces.
"Alright," Robin cracked his neck slowly to the right and then to the left, a subtle stretching motion that seemed almost ritualistic. "It's time to gather some funds."
He glanced over his shoulder, his eyes sharp. "Consciousness Number Two, are you prepared?"
"..." Consciousness Number Two opened its single, unblinking eye. "Ready."
A sphere of shimmering light manifested in its hand, glowing softly before it was released and propelled toward the sapling.
Whoosh
As the soul sphere approached one of the protective walls surrounding the sapling, the wall momentarily shimmered and parted, allowing it to pass through. Immediately afterward, the wall reformed, perfectly intact. This process repeated over several moments until, in the final instant-pa-the sphere landed neatly in the hand of Robin's own manifestation. He smiled faintly and then passed it gently toward Timari inside the mirror.
"This," Robin began, his voice calm but authoritative, "is an upgrade for the Youth Restoration Device. It is a standalone component, completely independent, that can be attached to the device at will. It also comes with its own dedicated dosage. When the device is used with this component and its new dosage, the user can completely change their entire appearance and generate a fake aura for one hour. And yes, that duration can be extended by administering an additional dosage before the hour expires."
"We are not merely talking about altering physical age-no. This is a total transformation: a complete change of form, race, and even gender. The person will be entirely someone else during that period, and their aura will perfectly match the new appearance they have chosen. In addition, there is a third component that carries a full list of the races that can be transformed into, along with the exact number of dosages required to activate each form. This component, like the others, will be sold separately."
"...?!" Timari's eyes widened, and she began examining the designs feverishly, her focus absolute.
A complete alteration of both physical form and aura? Nothing like this had ever existed before!
A separate activation component, a reference component listing all th races and requirements, multiple dosages... three entirely separate pieces, each sold independently, especially the dosages themselves.
Announcing these add-ons would not merely increase demand for the device- it would double it, and perhaps even more. And selling the extra components and dosages would generate profits that were almost unimaginable, surpassing anything currently on the market.
"Timari," Robin said, his tone sharpening, "this invention is not meant to serve the universe, nor to empower people for defense or self-improvement. It is a dangerous, military-grade device. I cannot think of a single legitimate application for ordinary use... none. Raise the price as high as possible. I need the funds." His brow furrowed deeply, emphasizing the urgency. "You'll also find recommendations for the inks, materials, and components required to manufacture the pieces and dosages. As always, I will rely on you and your team to handle production and sales efficiently. Just ensure enough quantity is made to meet demand."
Robin had been forced to invest law patterns of the Shaping Path directly into these add-ons. The law would use the original body as a resource to reshape itself completely, while the dosages acted as fuel to maintain stability. Extra fuel within the body would ensure it could revert to its original form after one hour. Leaving such an ability unchecked, he knew, could be catastrophic. "Understood," Timari nodded firmly, her expression resolute. "I'll coordinate with the development team to market this component as a top-tier strategic and intelligence tool. The dosages will be priced even higher-the main profit will come from them."
She fixed Robin with a serious look. "...The projected profits will easily surpass those from the Youth Restoration Device."
To put it in perspective, the Youth Restoration Device had already generated nearly 80 billion over just a few decades.
"Good. Inform Lord Morval on my behalf that I will voluntarily pay a 10% tax on my personal profits from this specific device, separate from any manufacturing profits you earn. Understood?" Robin's lips curved into a strange, almost
unsettling smile.
"I will deliver the message, certainly!!" Timari said, almost bouncing with
excitement.
"Good... good..." Robin exhaled slowly, a deep, measured sigh. Then, turning his attention forward, he said, "Consciousness Number Three-what do you have
for me?"
