Chapter 1936 Fate Unbinding

"Wait a moment!" Consciousness Number Three continued shaking his head left and right, his brows tightly furrowed, arms crossed firmly over his chest as if wrestling with a stubborn thought that refused to settle. His expression showed deep concentration, bordering on irritation.

A full ten minutes passed in heavy silence. Finally, Consciousness Number Three extended his hand and produced a brilliantly radiant soul sphere. Then- whoosh-he thrust it forward toward the sapling. The sphere slipped through the surrounding barriers effortlessly, as if they barely existed, and soon reached Consciousness Number One without resistance.

Consciousness Number Three straightened up and stretched his stiff limbs. "Haaah~"

He then turned toward Consciousness Number Two, who was sprawled lazily on his back, eyes half-closed as he basked in the fresh, vibrant sunlight of Greenland, looking far too relaxed for the seriousness of the discussion.

"Hey," Consciousness Number Three said, tilting his head, "what idea did you come up with for gathering money?"

"An add-on for the Youth Restoration Device that changes anyone's appearance and aura for a full hour," Consciousness Number Two chuckled, clearly amused by his own idea. "Oh, dear... that thing will sell ridiculously fast."

"Hm... it is a good idea," Consciousness Number Three muttered, rubbing his chin thoughtfully, his gaze sharpening. "But won't something like that eventually be used against us?"

He paused, then added with a grim tone, "Oooh... Theo definitely won't like this."

"Relax. I already thought about all of that," Consciousness Number Two waved his hand dismissively, confidence dripping from the gesture. "I embedded a detectable mechanism directly into the serum itself-something that can be identified by a specialized detection device. I'll personally ensure those detectors are distributed to all of our key locations. Spotting someone who's used the serum will be absurdly easy-like a calf trying to convince the world it's a mosquito."

He waved his hand a few more times, then suddenly opened his eyes wide and stared up at the sky, his expression turning oddly distant, as if a crucial detail had slipped his mind at the last second.

After a brief pause, one of them finally spoke.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

Whooosh

Another soul sphere pierced straight through the barrier and arrived in the hands of Consciousness Number One. He examined it personally, his focus sharp and efficient, before passing it onward to Timari.

"This will also be sold in the store," he said calmly.

"This..." Timari began examining the soul sphere with intense focus, her eyes scanning every layer of its structure. "...I can sense multiple minor laws aligned with the Path of Purity, as well as intricate runes formed from soul force. What exactly is this?"

"This is a personal-use device specifically designed to suppress and calm the repercussions of negative karma," Robin explained in a serious, measured tone. "It cannot erase or cleanse accumulated negative karma-nothing so absolute. However, anyone who uses this device can reasonably expect to avoid calamity for a full week."

"Each activation requires a light chip, which will be sold separately. Once again, I'll be relying on you to handle the manufacturing of both the device itself and the chips," he added without hesitation.

"...!!!!" Timari stared at Robin in complete disbelief, her thoughts momentarily freezing.

There was no energy cultivator, no soul practitioner, no politician -no individual with any form of authority, influence, or power- whose hands had not been stained by blood, corruption, or morally questionable decisions at some point in their life. Even ordinary people, those who believed themselves innocent, usually carried at least one star of negative karma.

That negative karma-those accumulated sins and unresolved consequences- would inevitably return to haunt them. Sometimes subtly, sometimes violently: falling ill right before a crucial event, failing during a breakthrough and suffering severe bodily damage, losing a child, being stripped of rank or position, provoking the hatred of someone far more dangerous than

themselves, and countless other disasters.

In the end, those unseen chains of karma often tightened until they dragged their bearer toward a tragic and horrifying death.

No one in existence possesses a true solution to the problem of negative karma except the Bright Galaxy, an organization that has been perpetually occupied for centuries. Even before they became so overwhelmed, their services were already outrageously expensive-far beyond the reach of ordinary people. Forget the cost of the service itself; even traveling to their location was something most people could never afford in their lifetime.

Although this device does not completely erase negative karma, nor does it truly weaken it, it seals it for a full week. That single fact alone made this

invention earth-shattering.

Why was that so important?

Anyone attempting a breakthrough could do so with absolute confidence, knowing that the specters of their past sins would not suddenly appear to obstruct them. A person could activate it before a critical meeting, ensuring that misfortune would not twist their judgment at the decisive moment. They could even use it before a major battle, greatly reducing the chance of being struck down by a cruel twist of fate-a random blow of bad luck that would otherwise end their life on the spot.

If this device were to become widespread, it would become an indispensable item carried by every energy or soul trainee. It would be a staple object in the drawer of every powerful politician and high-ranking military commander- even if they were nothing more than mortals. Its importance and popularity would surpass even space rings, which were already considered absolute necessities!

"Do you have a name for it?" Timari asked, her eyes still unfocused, as if her mind was struggling to keep up with the implications.

"Hm... I just thought of it now. I didn't really have time to name it," Robin replied while scratching his head. Then his finger snapped sharply. "Let's give it a

grand, authoritative name... let's call it the Fate Unbinding Device."

This device was merely a simplified version of an array that Robin had already

handed over to Zara. The crucial difference was that the original array directly purified and erased negative karma itself, restoring a person to a state as clean and untainted as the moment they were born. That array was primarily focused on the Shadow Swords and the Imperial Guardians, followed by marshals and generals and it had already dramatically enhanced both their combat instincts and their ability to think clearly under pressure.

Robin had made several deliberate decisions here.

First, he converted it into a personal-use device. If it had remained an array, every empire would simply purchase a single array and share it among all their elites-which would be catastrophic for long-term profits.

Second, he imposed strict limitations, ensuring that users would need to continuously purchase replacement chips.

Finally, he made the complete erasure of negative karma fundamentally impossible. Thedevice only suppressed it for a fixed duration, after which it

would inevitably resurface.

In fact, once the suppression ended, the negative karma would become slightly more active than before.

This alone guaranteed that users would feel compelled to buy more chips- again and again-without end.

As Robin reflected on this, he couldn't help but sigh. Every time he tried to abandon profit-seeking and focus solely on researching what truly mattered, circumstances would inevitably arise that forced him back onto the path of relentless money extraction.

"I'll leave the pricing to you, but I do have a suggestion," he said calmly. "Make the device itself cheap, and raise the price of the chips-but keep it within a range that allows people to repurchase them continuously. If the manufacturing cost of a chip is 10 pearls, add another 10 pearls as pure profit for the Soul Society-consider it a gift from me. Make sure Lord Morval is informed of that detail. Then sell each chip for 200 pearls"

"Understood. I'll inform the marketing team of everything," Timari replied as

she released a long breath. This time, she wasn't smiling with excitement as she usually did whenever Robin delivered a product for sale or auction. Instead, her expression was tight, tense, and filled with unease.

Once the Race Alteration Device and the Fate Unbinding Device were launched

in the store under Lord Human's name, the entire universe would be turned upside down. She could already envision the overwhelming flood of orders-for the devices themselves, for the chips, and for the serums.

At least half of the Soul Society's factories across the Central Thousand Sectors would be forcibly redirected to manufacturing these products alone. No-this was already far beyond what the marketing team could control. A

situation of this magnitude would require direct oversight. Only Lord Morval himself would be capable of making the final decisions.

"Hoooh~ If you have no further orders, Lord Human, I'll take my leave now to follow up on your requests," Timari said, bowing slightly for reasons she herself couldn't fully explain, and she was just about to cut the connection.

"Wait," Robin stopped her and glanced behind him. "Fourth Consciousness,

what do you have?"

"There's more?!" Timari looked aside instinctively, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't see anything beyond the barrier.
