Chapter 1947 Another world

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

Ten weeks later - Mid Sector 100 Planet Orgenus

"Faster!"

"Load those ships quickly! Don't you dare forget anything!!"

At this very moment, the planet felt like it was sitting on a blazing furnace... not because it was under attack-no one in their right mind would dare assault the capital of the Centennial Cradle Empire directly- but because the stakes were far more complex and perilous than any simple battle.

Every barrack, every garrison, and every command post had erupted into motion. War vehicles of all sizes rumbled from their underground bunkers, their engines shaking the ground as if announcing a prelude to cataclysm. Armories that had not been opened for decades were flung wide, revealing racks of shimmering artillery and pearl-filled caches prepared for cannons and war machines. Soldiers and officers moved like clockwork, shouting commands, coordinating fleets, and double-checking inventories, while scouts ran from tower to tower to confirm the mobilization.

This was a harbinger of doom for the entire sector... the Centennial Cradle Empire was preparing a war of such magnitude that even rumors of it struck terror across the stars.

No one knew where the artillery would strike first, what fleets would be targeted, or which sectors would bear the brunt of this devastating assault. Whatever the target, it was about to face the raw, unrelenting might that had ruled over and terrorized the sector for centuries. Even the Seven Thrones Empire, known for its arrogance and confidence, halted all operations, dispatching envoys and commanders to strategize in anticipation of the Centennial mobilization. Every move on Orgenus was being watched, analyzed, and feared.

Yet... not everyone was concerned with the chaos and preparations. Inside one of the tallest towers near the military parade ground-

Jabba's eyes, glowing a vivid, unnatural green, were locked onto a small cup containing a few drops of blood. His attention was absolute; nothing else existed in his field of vision. Even as his hand moved across a sheet of paper, furiously jotting down observations and sketches, his gaze never wavered from the cup.

His handwriting was uneven, jagged in places, letters piled atop one another. Yet, he scribbled with obsessive precision, as though capturing the hidden secrets within each movement of the blood. His expression was that of a child watching a magical spectacle for the first time-wide-eyed excitement, pure joy, and fascination all mingling in a single, radiant look.

"Amazing... a giant green forest butterfly from Planet Atlin. This is the first organism I find whose blood demonstrates a natural method to counter soul attacks!"

Jabba paused, setting his pen atop his ear. Then, snap snap -he snapped his fingers- and a handful of soul units surged from him, flowing like liquid energy toward the cup.

Whoosh! The soul units drew near, and the blood responded immediately, moving as if alive. It began leaping from the cup, striking at the soul units with remarkable precision, almost like fish darting to snatch insects skimming across water. Each drop moved independently yet in perfect coordination. Then, one single drop would encircle a soul unit, trap it gently, and descend back into the cup, commencing a subtle process of absorption. Jabba observed intently, noting a slight increase in the blood's quantity after each interaction. He scribbled furiously, capturing the exact sequences and patterns, attempting to map a code of behavior from this living phenomenon.

"What dangerous creatures... and what limitless applications..." Jabba whispered to himself, letting out a long sigh as he returned to his notes. His pen traced every movement, every leap, every oscillation of the blood with painstaking accuracy.

After nearly an hour, he finally set his pen and notebook aside, moving a few steps to the side. There, another cup stood, labeled: <King of Beasts - Black Winter Turtle from Planet Atlin>, with careful notes scrawled beneath the

name.

Some time ago, Jabba had made a formal agreement with Caesar: any samples of creatures from planets the emperor explored would be sent to him. Knowing that alone would be insufficient, Jabba had expanded his efforts, visiting generals, officers, officer aides, and even ordinary soldiers personally. He promised them valuable rewards in exchange for any sample with potential to influence the Empire's research.

And indeed, the flood of samples had become overwhelming. Every day, creatures of all forms and sizes arrived from soldiers, officers, and aides alike- each one a potential key to new discoveries, each one adding to Jabba's ever-growing compendium of living phenomena.

The blood in the cup pulsed as if sensing his scrutiny, leaping and shifting in strange, mesmerizing patterns. Outside the tower, the engines of war continued their relentless roar, fleets and artillery readied for a conflict that could engulf the sector, while inside, Jabba meticulously documented life itself, uncovering the hidden codes within creatures no one else even dared to study. "Hmm?" Jabba read the description briefly, tilting his head slightly, then his thick eyebrows sank into a deep frown. "This King of Beasts... was at the absolute peak of the World Cataclysm, and yet it fought relentlessly for three full days and nights without any sign of fatigue? They had to use the Supremacy Note Gen-4 cannons just to bring it down? Truly... unprecedented." Instantly, his vivid green eyes flickered with focus, scanning the blood in the cup with meticulous intensity. As was his habit, he began his examination at the cellular level, activating his magnifying vision to detect the minutest structures. From there, he moved deeper, analyzing energy flow patterns, then descending further to inspect the DNA itself. But today... he was halted even before

reaching that point.

"This?!"

The cells were unlike anything he had seen before. Their sizes were wildly inconsistent-not a single one uniform with another.

Some cells were colossal, easily visible to the naked eye, large enough to resemble grains of sand. Others were normal-sized or even smaller than expected. Yet this didn't appear to be any sort of disease; all the cells, large and small alike, were healthy and stable. They didn't attack each other-they simply existed... differently.

"Hmm? What... what is the difference between these and-" Jabba stared harder, his green eyes widening to their fullest extent, pupils shrinking as excitement surged. "The large cells... they contain energy reservoirs?!" He snatched a fresh notebook and pen, feverishly jotting down observations as if the blood might vanish if he hesitated.

The giant cells contained everything that the smaller cells did-everything-but their internal structures were altered. Their walls were thicker, their interiors brimming with energy far beyond what a normal cell could hold.

Jabba couldn't help but feel a jolt of recognition. This reminded him of arming, the Fifth Training Path-a discipline refined over centuries by countless Truth Chosen, perfected only recently at its apex. And here... it existed naturally in a random, wild beast!

Of course, the differences were clear. Arming reshapes every cell in the body, reconfiguring its structure entirely. This creature, however, had less than 1% of its cells naturally "armed." If a creature of this size and raw power were to receive full arming injections... the thought alone sent a shiver down Jabba's spine. It could consume an entire secor by itself. A single beast, unstoppable. Yet this session wasn't wasted. Observing these naturally armed cells could allow him to refine the arming process of the Fifth Path, reduce the energy cost, or make it less excruciating and demanding. He could take what nature had perfected and apply it to human designs-a gift from the wild itself. He let out a long, contemplative sigh, shaking his head slightly as he reflected.

All this knowledge, hidden in plain sight, waiting in the wild nature that most people never bothered to study. Why don't they learn from the universe itself? From the extraordinary creatures, the living code of life all around them? Do they really think they are superior to clay, to animals, to the living experiments of nature? That they are too elevated to touch or understand the world around them, too refined to glean its secrets?

Everything comes from one origin. Everything is born of one origin.

And yet, the differences... the subtle variations, they were there, waiting to be discovered. Found in blood. In the microscopic architecture of the body. These differences were the fingerprint separating the simplest, most insignificant creatures from the complex, the extraordinary. Variations originating from the same source, serving the same ultimate purpose.

He had entered this secluded chamber under the guise of searching for a law

with which to construct his pillars. But old passions, long dormant, drew him back to the blood. In just a few years, merely by observing and recording patterns from blood, he could push the City of Sky Opening forward by thousands of years in multiple fields of research.

After nearly two hours of study, Jabba finally set aside the notebook and pen. He stepped toward the third cup with a faint, excited smile, anticipation lighting up his face.

"Next!" he murmured softly, ready for the next world, for the secrets that each

creature shared with its own essence, its own reflection of creation.

Yet even he did not notice-

Hmm...

The bright green light in his eyes began to dim slightly...
