Chapter 117 Destiny's Vow: 10 The Will of Fire

This chapter is updated by JustRead.pl

Naruto’s heart pounded in his chest as he stared down the mysterious woman, her dark energy swirling ominously. The cloaked figures surrounding them faltered under the combined assault of his shadow clones, Hinata’s precise strikes, and Shion’s spiritual techniques, but the true danger still stood before him—calm, composed, and confident.

The woman’s smirk widened as her eyes flicked from Naruto to Shion. “You think you can stop me? You’re still a fool, boy. You haven’t even begun to understand the depths of Mōryō’s power.”

Naruto’s jaw clenched. “I don’t care about understanding your stupid plans. All I care about is protecting the people I care about!”

Without waiting for a response, he formed the familiar seals, gathering his chakra. His clones vanished, focusing his power into a single, massive Rasengan. “This ends now!”

With a powerful leap, Naruto charged forward, the Rasengan crackling with energy in his hand.

The woman’s eyes widened in surprise as the spiraling ball of chakra hurtled toward her. “You…!”

Before she could react, Naruto’s Rasengan collided with her dark energy barrier. The force of the attack shattered the barrier like glass, sending shockwaves through the clearing. The woman let out a cry of shock as the Rasengan hit its mark, sending her flying backward into the trees.

Naruto landed on his feet, panting heavily as the dust began to settle. He scanned the clearing, searching for any sign of movement from the woman. But there was none.

Hinata landed beside him, her Byakugan still active. “Naruto… she’s gone.”

Naruto let out a long breath of relief. “Good. At least for now…”

Shion approached, her spiritual energy still radiating around her. “Naruto… you’ve done it. The immediate threat is over.”

Naruto gave her a tired smile. “Yeah, but something tells me that won’t be the last time we see her.”

Shion nodded gravely. “Indeed. Her kind will always be drawn to the darkness. But for now, we’ve won this battle.”

Hinata stepped forward, her eyes softening as she looked at Naruto. “You did great, Naruto. I… I’m so glad you’re safe.”

Naruto scratched the back of his head, suddenly feeling a little embarrassed. “Heh, thanks, Hinata. You were awesome too! You both were!” He turned to Shion, grinning. “You really know how to handle that spiritual stuff. I don’t know what we would’ve done without you.”

Shion smiled warmly, a sense of calm finally settling over her. “We fought together, Naruto. This victory belongs to all of us.”

Naruto’s grin widened as he looked between Shion and Hinata. An idea began to form in his head, and before he could second-guess himself, the words slipped out.

“You know what? To celebrate, why don’t we… go on a date? The three of us?”

Hinata’s face turned beet red, her eyes widening in shock. “N-Naruto… a-a date?!”

Shion, on the other hand, seemed intrigued rather than surprised. “A date, you say? How interesting. I would be honored.”

Naruto blinked, surprised that Shion had agreed so quickly. He scratched the back of his head again, laughing awkwardly. “Uh, yeah! I mean, we’ve been through a lot together, right? So I thought, you know… it’d be fun.”

Hinata’s hands fidgeted nervously, her heart racing. A date? With Naruto? And Shion? The idea made her head spin, but she couldn’t deny the flutter of excitement in her chest. “I-I… I’d love to…” she said quietly, her voice barely above a whisper.

Naruto’s grin stretched from ear to ear. “Awesome! It’s settled, then! We’ll go out tomorrow!”

Shion smiled knowingly. “It seems our next challenge will be a more… personal one.”

Hinata blushed even deeper, but a small, shy smile spread across her lips. She had fought alongside Naruto, she had confessed her feelings, and now… maybe this was the beginning of something new.

As they stood together in the aftermath of the battle, the tension and fear of the night slowly faded, replaced by a sense of hope and warmth. For the first time in what felt like forever, Naruto, Hinata, and Shion had a moment to breathe, to reflect, and to simply enjoy each other’s company.

But even as they looked forward to their upcoming date, Naruto knew that the real battle was far from over. The mysterious woman and her dark forces were still out there, plotting in the shadows. He would have to stay vigilant, protect the people he loved, and prepare for whatever came next.

But for now, they could rest. And Naruto, ever the optimist, was looking forward to the next chapter of their journey—one that would take them to places he had never imagined.
