The seasons shifted, and now, under the bright summer sun, Naruto stood in the training field just outside the village, catching his breath after an intense sparring session with Kakashi and Sakura. “Are you okay, Naruto?” Hinata’s soft voice called out to him, pulling him from his reverie.

He turned to see her standing at the edge of the field, her pale lavender eyes full of concern. She had come to meet him after training, as she often did, and the sight of her brought a small, comforting smile to his face.

“Yeah, I’m fine,” Naruto said, his tone light, but there was a weight behind his words that didn’t go unnoticed.

Hinata stepped closer, her brow furrowing slightly. “You’ve been distracted lately. Is something wrong?”

Naruto sighed, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. “It’s just… Shion. And, well… you too.”

Hinata blinked, a light blush coloring her cheeks. “Me?”

Naruto nodded, looking into her eyes with an intensity that made her heart skip a beat. “I love you, Hinata. I always have. You know that, right?”

Hinata’s heart swelled with emotion, and she nodded, her voice barely above a whisper. “I know, Naruto. I love you too.”

He took her hand in his, his grip gentle but firm. “And I love Shion, too. I never thought it was possible to feel like this about two people, but… I do.”

Hinata didn’t pull away. She had known this from the beginning, and she had accepted it. Her love for Naruto was unconditional, and if sharing him meant they could all be happy, then she would. But she could see the conflict in his eyes—the uncertainty that still lingered.

“Naruto,” she said softly, squeezing his hand, “you don’t have to carry this burden alone. We’re here for you. Both of us. Whatever happens next… we’ll figure it out together.”

Naruto’s heart ached with gratitude for her understanding. Hinata had always been the one to see him, truly see him, even when he didn’t see himself. Her quiet strength had been his anchor for so long, and now, more than ever, he needed that strength.

“I know,” Naruto said, his voice thick with emotion. “It’s just… Shion said she’s ready. Ready for the next step. And I think… I am too. But I want you to be a part of that, Hinata. You’re just as important to me as she is.”

Hinata’s blush deepened, but she didn’t shy away. She had expected this day to come, and she had prepared herself for it. “I want to be a part of it, Naruto. Whatever the future holds, I’ll be by your side.”

Naruto smiled, his heart feeling lighter than it had in days. He pulled Hinata into a gentle embrace, holding her close as the warmth of the summer sun enveloped them both.

Later that evening, Naruto found himself standing outside Shion’s quarters once again, just as he had months before. Only this time, the air felt different. He knocked on the door, and Shion opened it, her calm, knowing smile greeting him.

“Come in,” she said softly.

Naruto stepped inside, his heart pounding, but this time it wasn’t from confusion or fear. He was ready. He had spent months coming to terms with the path ahead of him, and now, standing in front of Shion, he felt a sense of peace.

Shion sat down beside him, her golden eyes searching his face for any sign of doubt. “Are you sure, Naruto?”

Naruto nodded, his voice steady. “I am. I’ve thought about it a lot, and… I’m ready to help you continue the line. I promised, and I’m going to keep that promise. But…”

Shion raised an eyebrow. “But?”

Naruto glanced away, his voice softening. “It’s not just you. Hinata… she’s part of my future too. I don’t know how this is all going to work, but I care about both of you, and I want you to know that.”

Shion’s gaze softened, and for the first time, a hint of vulnerability flickered in her eyes. “I understand, Naruto. I accepted this from the beginning. My goal was always to ensure the safety of the world, but I never expected to find someone like you.”

Naruto smiled, his hand finding hers. “We’ll figure it out. Together.”

Shion’s eyes held his for a long moment before she leaned in, her lips brushing against his in a soft, deliberate kiss. When they parted, she stood, offering her hand to him.

“Then let’s begin our journey,” she said, her voice low and full of promise.

Naruto took her hand, feeling a sense of purpose wash over him. This was the next step, not just for Shion or for Hinata, but for all of them. They were building something new, something none of them had ever expected, but something they were all willing to fight for.

As Naruto followed Shion deeper into her quarters, his mind was calm, his heart full. He had made his decision, and there was no turning back now.

Whatever the future held, they would face it together.
