Hinata’s eyes flickered with uncertainty, but she stepped forward as well, gathering her courage. “I-I don’t understand everything, but… I care about Naruto. I’ve always cared about him. And if he’s going to be part of your future, Shion, I want to be part of it too.”

Naruto stood frozen, torn between two emotions—his strong feelings for both Hinata and Shion, and the overwhelming confusion of what this night was becoming. He had never been good at navigating things like this, and the gravity of the situation was hitting him all at once.
