Facing each other, the long white boots that covered Yue Lus talons shattered as one clawed foot shot at Mister Mu.

He waved a hand, causing a gray stream to appear and turn aside. Origin Tracer had separated out a portion of time.

Yue Lu was surprised to see its claw fail to shatter the power of time.

It was at that moment that Lu Yin appeared, this time using Manifestation Beyond the Pupil, which he had fused with the plates of armor.

Green Lotuss expression turned grave. The moment Yue Lu attacked Mister Mu, he had anticipated that the bird would strike either Master Qing Cao or Greater Sancte Blood Tower next. The strange bird seemed to only be targeting Immortals.

Master Qing Cao let out a breath. Right when Yue Lu appeared, he had felt a sensation that had been difficult to endure.

The feather appeared delicate and harmless, and yet it pierced Master Ku Dengs body without resistance, leaving the man spitting out blood as he staggered back.

He had not expected the birds attack to be so powerful.

Around the two, heart-lamps appeared.

Just as Yue Lu was about to strike again, Lu Yin appeared. He grabbed Master Ku Deng with one hand, and they both vanished.

Simultaneously, Yue Lu also vanished.

A moment later, Lu Yin and Master Ku Deng reappeared, but there was no trace of Yue Lu anywhere nearby.

Lu Yin looked at Master Ku Deng. Senior, how are you?

Master Ku Deng coughed up more blood. What kind of creature is that?

Awe Gate looked over at Lu Yin. Against that strange birds attack, Ku Deng tried to block the attack with his heartrift power, but it simply failed to do anything. It was completely unable to hinder the birds attack in any way. Thats why his body was stabbed and even his foundational cultivated spirit seed was damaged.

Lu Yins expression grew solemn. Does Senior Ku Deng know why his heartrift power failed?

Greater Sancte Awe Gate shook her head.

Green Lotus spoke up, That strange bird may not be too strong itself, but its teleportation makes it difficult to deal with even for me.
